@@jckrell Hi Mamu....so this is how remember it....I was shaking like a leaf because I was so close to the man I loved. When my partner says about the glass that "it's jumping around," it probably was! I was 17 (18 was the age limit) & never thought I'd ever see this again! If you listen closely when I first come on stage, Johnny says, "You wanna go out tonight," I say, "sure," & he says, "good." I called friends from the lobby to tell them to watch the show 'cause Johnny asks me out. Did the glass actually move by itself? Don't know, don't care...I was in the presence of greatness & the love of my life & that's all that matters. Still watch Johnny on Pluto TV. They have a dedicated channel just for him. Thanks for question!
@@scottt3100 I suppose if I were 12 years old, the way that we dressed in the 70s would look funny to me. Not that 12 year old kids have real fashion sense. I guess you don't have any fashion sense either. Sad.
I remember attending one of his live shows in the 70's and a member from the audience asked him, "Why do you wear glasses if you're such a gifted mentalist and mind reader" and he responded with, "I wear glasses to see of course!", which drew a loud boisterous laughter. He was such an entertainer.
In '73, when I saw The Excorcist, it scared the wits out of me - Also, in Brodheadsville, PA and Saylorsburg, PA and areas near Effort, PA and Kunkletown, PA have a lot of "Kresge" last names, which is Kreskin's real name, and he states he has relatives in PA, been watching him on Carson forever from Long Island in the 60's and 70's and now I live in PA and see this name everywhere. He's done some amazing things, that's for sure....
The Amazing Kreskin was banned from playing games of chance in numerous casinos, including those in Las Vegas. His extraordinary mentalist abilities and mind-reading skills made casino operators wary of his presence, fearing he could use his talents to gain an unfair advantage
I can't imagine the producers were very happy with the subject matter of this segment 😅 I have a feeling this wasn't one of the better visits out of his 60 appearances throughout the years.
The man with the big mo is the actor Jackie Earle Haley early in his career. A paid actor. He later played the stoner who sinks an impossible shot in the Will Ferrell basketball movie "Semi-pro"
It looks to me like the woman in yellow is pushing the glass. You can see she has pressure on the glass with her finger. It's not just laid on there like his was. She knew which cards to push it to.
To be honest i don't think Kreskin was ever 'hip' nor did he ever try to be. Kreskin liked to affect a lot more nerdiness than he actually was...it was his way of disarming the audience and getting them on his side.
Phil Raso Phil Raso 4 were picked from a total of say 30 face down cards that were already in place and never shown to us. All those 30 cards were 1 of the 4 in the package. There were 4 sides and each side had 1 of the 4 cards all the same card. You notice they picked only 1 card from each of the 4 sides and never picked 2 from the same side. These are the same 2 whose glass never moved on the previous trick and are confederates.
@@PhilRaso The left side of the board were all 10 of spades, the side closest to the audience were all Queen of hearts, and so on. The glass could not have not gotten all four cards "right". Guess what?!? I'm the girl on the left in the blue denim jumpsuit!! I was 17 & so in love with Johnny. Thank-you so much for posting.
That’s crazy! So glad you found this!
@@PhilRaso Feb. 26, 2021....Antenna TV is showing the entire episode tonight! Sarah Miles, Joan Embrey, David Brenner, Kreskin, AND ME!!!

@@lauradangerously7982 What a wonderful memory! I did not catch that the first time but Johnny does just as you say! 5:24.
He was at Western KY University TV studios just a few weeks before this episode aired. Bent keys and spoons. So cool.
The years pass so fast my friend, so great to see you on Huckabee. I sure miss the "The good old days" Real people like you.
LOL the guy in the baby blue pants.
Man, people dressed so funny in the 70s. I love it 🤣
I don't see anything funny about the way he's dressed.

People still dress that way in 2021. But only who lived in the 70s.

I'll say one thing...his bowtie is amazing.

This is a brilliant use of using audience assumption from one effect to the other
That 70’s fashion:..🤣😂😂🤣
Johnny's suit looks great even today. Kreskin's suit is ugly to its core. I don't know who came up with that absurdity.
I didn't realize that repossession joke was that old.
I know the secret of that second trick...but any way thank you so much for Mr. K🙏
That was amazing.

I would like to see the glass moved by itself and have them turned up all the other cards that were on that board

Maybe all the opposite side of the cards were all queen 10 2 6 since the opposite side was covered and still covered when he reveal the 4 cards.
Very plausible.
BINGO.
is that Greg Brady in the white shoes? LOL
Months ago I had ad baut A ouija board, the first time I played it two days ago.
Did it work
Ouija board works the same way the glasses/cards work.
Muscle tension pushes the pointer/ glasses around. 🤦

Hi nice to meet you Sir, I seen you On Huckabee and then barely remember you from the Carson show. I subscribed, love your videos.
Did The Amazing Kreskin go on to be Matthew Lesko?
Being an amateur magician, I am surprised that Johnny fell for the fake mentalist.
He called out Uri Geller on his show for faking powers.
The Great Randy destroys these frauds!
It would have been even more convincing if he had Johnny work a glass.
The first pair wasn't moving...
I just watched The Great Buck Howard, inspired by the career of The Amazing Kreskin. The film was much better than this segment! 😂
He's sooo amazzzzing. Better than Randi
Randi destroys frauds!
All those powers and he still was compelled to wear them ridiculous pants

What about disco music? People went crazy over disco music in the 70s.
