    Attended a show his first week during his residency at the Mirage. I was in the 2 row and got picked for a trick. He was super nice and walked me through all the steps and it's a moment I'll never forget. His whole show was entertaining and left me speechless as well. Great performer and even better person.

    Magicians can REALLY be something else! Some of what they do borders on impossible, or MIRACULOUS, in other words, REAL MAGIC. Either the 6 of spades was planted before the trick, or it teleported into the pocket. I'm pretty sure it was planted but that can't explain everything else Shin did with the deck! That was awesome. I went to a company Christmas party with maybe 100 people, and they hired some regular, young magician that definitely wasn't famous, but the tricks he did blew our minds (this was in 1985). I sat pretty close and was blown away but the magician picked my friend out of the audience and I know for a FACT that he was no plant! The magician did a trick where he broke eggs into my friends suit jacket pocket (we watched the eggs drip out of their shells) , threw in some cake batter, poured milk into his pocket and stirred it with a whisk and proceeded to let it "bake" with a flashlight, and took a perfect little cake with frosting out of that pocket. My friend stood on stage feeling for a mess in his pocket, which wasn't there and stared at the magician in total disbelief. He could barely even speak when he came back to sit with us (cake in hand. We actually ate it). He was stunned and flabbergasted for the rest of the night! I sat pretty close and couldn't BEGIN to detect how that was done. That was done by a magician I'd never heard of before or since. I can't imagine the skills some of these MASTERS like shin must possess.

      Yeah, the 6 of spades is really throwing me off. Obviously it was in Quest's pocket the whole time, but I'm really not sure how he got Quest to say 6 of spades unless he was told to.

    • @Andrei-oj1jz
      @Andrei-oj1jz หลายเดือนก่อน

      that six of spade was planted in the band member jacket from another deck of cards earlier before the show. He was told to pick the 6 of spades has his card of choice. So when the magician makes the 6 of spade disappear from the original deck via slight of hand, he tells the dude to check his jacket to find the already planted card from before.

I'm so happy that he won AGT not only once but twice. Only Shin could win AGT after Marc Franco in AGT 2014. Eversince then, Shin continues to thrive and shine bright on his career path. Shin - you've done a great job that make people entertained, laughing hard & smile a lots. When he's "laser dealing", pay very close attention to his hand when they are zoomed in on it, and pause the video, you can see the very tiny corner of a card sticking out in between the fingers of his right hand, so he's "palming" the cards. Then he puts his right hand on the table in a way that masks the view of the camera and drops those cards behind the table... He is so good at what he does. His movements are natural and fluid, and you just don't realize in real time what he's actually doing. He's quite brilliant. No idea how he did everything else, it was spectacular.

    Unfortunate for the camera cut to Roots, since Shin drops his hands to his lap to swap decks...

    If anyone wants to know how he did the laser deal, at 4:04 he drops the cards in his lap. He is very good at making your focus on the snap of the card but what he’s doing is storing the card between his pinky and ring finger. Then when he’s done he done a slight movement towards him with the cards and dumps them in his lap. It’s quick and easy to miss but he pulls it off really well.
