He would've also been ridiculing Herschel Walker, Marjorie Taylor Green and Lauren Bobert, just like the others are doing too.
@@Rusty3659 you beat me to it. He started the political roasting.
BS! It was always and is and will always “political agenda.” Are you for real.
You know something is timeless if you laugh. Am laughing right now! What a time it was!
Even when bombing he could knock 'em dead.
“May your sister be on NFL Films ‘sack of the week!’” 😂🤣🤣 people do remember NFL Films right? OMG….I’m not THAT old. lol
❤️❤️Ed’s laugh.
Anyone remember the backstory on the vacuum cleaner? It was on the set for several weeks.
What was the backstory? I remember the vacuum but not the story
Nice to see Johnny not even try to bluff his way out of the reality that the answers are meant to be on a card on the desk.
Is THAT where they were? I always thought they were written in really tiny print on the corner of the envelopes which is why he always held them up to his forehead at that particular angle and never deviated from it.
Geez I miss him......
Late-night television sucks today. This is classic and it's FUNNY.
King of late night shows!¡!
Younger people today really missed out in not knowing this kind of comedy. In fact, they would probably consider it 'lame' because there is no constant cursing or putting people down directly or vulgarity.
These two were just SO funny. One cannot stop laughing. Even at the inflections, bombings, bloopers, you name it. This was REAL comedy at its very best!
Amen Totally agree with every word.
@@bettycogswell9851 👍😁
Jokes about midgets, Jews and Smurfs? Young people today would be offended!
@@thomasmagnum3588 it’s sad! If you remember the Dean Martin roasts, kids today would be having conniption fits if they watched it. I wonder what they would say about the wonderful black celebrities who were LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY along with everyone else. And making fun of others just like everyone else. Brainwashed kids… total shame. I was watching a Dean Martin roast recently. It was actually a caution before the show that warns people about certain “outdated cultural references that were used in the 1970s”! They used this as a warning! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I’m trying to find the thread where we started to talk about Rodney Dangerfield and Dr. Vinny boombats. I can’t find it! WTH? Well anyway, I know you must have some more about the Italian guys you went to school with. Have you ever heard this joke? Why is Italy shaped like a boot? Because you can’t fit all that crap into a sneaker.😂
Carson, to me, is still the gold standard. I grew up watching him. He always stayed away from politics, for the most part. Today, the late night hosts are too political for me.
Yes and all of them spew the liberal false agenda.
A thousand thumbs up!
Fallon who?
Simply the best.
Carnac was truly magnificent.
Carnac was my favorite segment of the Tonight Show!
'never fails, even when he fails.
Even the great ones have an off day.
But this wasn’t it!
I can hear Pat McCormick’s voice in a number of these.
Oh yes… Yes! McCormick was hysterical!
Apparently the Cleveland Browns have the wrong Superbowl 😁
I blame the vacuum cleaner being in the way, LOL.
I miss this so much. 😢
Boy do I miss those days when Carson reigned for 30 years. We were all blessed to have him for all that time.
First time seeing this! Love it!
The last one brings to mind coming across one that I think went, "Tuck, Secretariat, Richard Nixon. Name a friar, a sire, and a liar."
Answer: "Chicken Teriyaki"
Question: "Name the world's worst kamikaze pilot"...

Ed’s Santa Claus laugh is pure joy!
There will never be a another Johnny or Ed. They where perfect for each other,, There is no one today that could even be a writer on his show.
I wonder where his Carnack hat is? You would think that would be in some museum devoted to radio and television memorabilia somewhere.
LOLOL... that's good stuff, even 36 years later.
