    Was searching how to correctly connect textures from substance painter to maya arnold and this video just show exactly what i needed :D

      We don't work with substance at school. He probably know this but i'm just working for myself in holidays so i always do lots of research before asking in mails ^^

    Arvid your tutorials are incredible and so well done ! It's helped me learn arnold from literally the ground up and apply it to my workflow. I can't thank you enough. Where would I connect the metallic in previous version of arnold ? I'm not using 2.0.1 Can't thank you enough for these great tutorials !!!!

    very nice series! I am quite new to arnold (coming from vray) and I'm wondering if there is a way to import huge geo as a proxy (like vray proxy). Does arnold have a feature like that? maya is taking ages to import for instaces a huge alembic cache from houdini..

    Can you tell me how you added the metalness input to the node, exactly?
    I right-clicked on the top of the node to show the option menu and selected Edit Custom Attribute List, then clicked on metalness to add it, but then how do I make it retain this change to the node?
    Whatever I do it just reverts to the default node and the metalnesss parameter I added does not show. What is the last step to make it retain the parameter I add?

      There was a bug fix. It should be working in the latest maya version

    strength Slider is not available

    Can i Ask why you are only connecting the red channel and not the green and blue?
