The whole part he was being bathed and howling his head off, I was laughing and couldn't stop! 🤣 LOL!! It was so hard to stop even though his bath was finished. 😂😂
I am intrigued about his body language while screaming in the bath. He is vocalizing that “this is hell!”, but he does not try to escape, his posture is somewhat relaxed, his pupils are normal in size, his eyes are not huge or showing worry, and he is even slowly blinking at you when he looks at you over his shoulder. His ears show some disgruntled emotions, but that and the screaming is basically it. As far as I’ve seen just a few minutes into the video at least. 😅 I kinda understand him saying “I hate this water, but you are okay, so I’ll just scream because I feel like I have to”. He has the same voice and volume as my 8 year old Bengal girl when she’s in the carrier crate in the car going to the vet.
It's the equivalent of a child sulking and whining loudly that they have to do something. I think of toddlers crying and wailing in bed cause they don't wanna sleep even though they're tired.
Aww, precious Angry Floof! We're sorry that you're angry Spicy Mayo, but you look handsome now and I bet you smell great too! Always love to see youtube's favourite kitty!
I think you deserve a Noble peace prize for calming feisty animals during their grooming. Also a medal for bravery for grooming so long before muzzling these pets who obviously don't want to cooperate:) Mayonnaise looked beautiful at the end despite not being able to tame his "cheek" fur.
He might be spicy and grumpy, but he's actually fairly tolerant, too. After all, how many cats would have got so far long in their groom before they tried to attack? Mind you, saying that, he's got a magnificent line in Killer Looks. Forget about being buried six feet under- if Mayo had his way, you'd be interred in the core of the planet!
My cat also came running into the room when she heard Mayo crying. Great job grooming this grumpy boy! I’m 100% sure he feels better afterward. My daughter’s cat Archie is a Himalayan and he, like Mayo, is not always cooperative. When he arrives back home, he struts around like a peacock.
I've never been able to have a cat; I've always lived with someone who had both a cat allergy and asthma. I'm learning from this channel that cats, even the spicy ones, are much kinder and more patient than I'd been giving them credit for. The noises Mayo was making, I'd have expected you to be peeling him off your face. Shortly followed by a trip to the ER for stitches.
Most pet cats are like that if they've been with humans their whole lives. My female cat looks a lot like Mayonnaise and would probably act the same if I bathed her. I had to trim her butt fluff last week after a poop incident and she didn't really object to being rolled up in a blanket. My male cat, on the other hand, was a stray for some part of his first 5 years, even though he's the friendliest cat I've ever seen, he would not be this tolerant about grooming. I can't even cut his nails when he's sleeping.
I was very allergic to cats and when my sister moved in with her three cats I had to take an antihistamine every day for over four years before I seemed to develop a natural immunity to them.
@@rebeccasilver2181 is it hard to trim that by yourself? I took my long haired persian to the groomer for an hygienic trim, but they only combed her and she ended up with painfully thick matts three days after the groom (I comb her daily and had been able to prevent matting for months, I think they flooffed her floof too much)
@@user-zc6ug3qh3z so she's a Norwegian mix and her fur doesn't mat the way a Persian would. She didn't really enjoy the butt trim and I wouldn't try to trim the rest of her coat because I don't want to mess it up. She likes when i brush out her neck ruffle and complains when I brush the butt mats, but Persians have a very difficult coat to maintain.
This channel's been a great help. My parents have a senior Birman cat, and while she's nowhere as fluffy as a Persian, she's still prone to matting, especially as she starts to lose mobility. Or at least she was. Applying what I've been learning from watching these videos, and with a little trial and error, months and months have gone by so far, and there haven't been any more mats. Thanks so much!
He so reminds me of a beautiful Persian I had years ago. Yell and fuss during bath time. If I stopped during the process and he was given a 'chance' to express his opinion, he got quiet and that was that. Every bath was the same program. He was a great cat.
Mayo only lets you live through the bath so he can just relax in the dryer 😂 I love this silly spicy fluffball. And for all his screaming like he's being boiled alive, he just stands there! Minimal attempts to actually escape.
I was watching this on my living room TV, and it seriously concerned my 3 cats, and even my Dutch Shepherd girl had to sit up and look to make sure the kitty was okay. ❤
I was watching this video while sitting in bed and my 7 yo terrier mix, Lady, was listening to his screaming me-OOOOWs with a very concerned expression on her face. She was tilting her head to and fro... with great worry in her eyes. 🫣 She totally felt for Mr. Mayo! 🥰
That's the most gentle and loving bath I've ever seen, and the saddest cries for help I've ever heard, at the same time anyway, at least he loves the blow dryer, all is well 😄
MAYO! 🥰 He's such a beautiful marble tabby, and that grumpy face is everything. And those eyes! What an excellent boy. "You're being rude" is too funny! It's sweet how still he sits through most of it despite all the screaming.
I nearly started crying as soon as he started screaming! 😹 It LEGIT sounds like he's screaming "HELP!" I also loved that once she "agreed" with him that "this is not ok" he started to take the volume of his cries down! 😹
Every time I see Mayonnaise I cry because he looks exactly like our cat KrazyKat who passed away. Even the temperament is the same and we miss him dearly.

He has the same voice and volume as my 8 year old Bengal girl when she’s in the carrier crate in the car going to the vet.
mayo just loves drama
Mayo is just a drama queen. Most Persians are.
It's the equivalent of a child sulking and whining loudly that they have to do something. I think of toddlers crying and wailing in bed cause they don't wanna sleep even though they're tired.
he even enjoyed the dryer which is weird because most of the animals she dries, have a tantrum when she dries them.
It is super sweet. He clearly trusts the groomer he's been going to for a long time, even if he hates the process.
Only from having teenage daughters can I relate to the look that cat is giving you. LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🤣
😅
I knew that look was familiar 🤣
My cat makes a look of horror every time she hears me watching one of Mayo’s videos 😂
Definitely disgruntled, but more cooperative than I expected. Nice work
MAYO’S FACE IN THE HAPPY HOODIE THO! ☺️❤️
THAT FACE! 🤣🤣 I know that face! 🤣🤣
Like a grumpy Babushka 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He sure loved that blow dryer :) I love how you can see his beautiful stripes when he's being brushed
Aww, precious Angry Floof! We're sorry that you're angry Spicy Mayo, but you look handsome now and I bet you smell great too! Always love to see youtube's favourite kitty!
A live streaming with Mayo!?!? It's really beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! 🌲🐱
more like live screaming with Mayo
It wasn't a live stream, grandma .. it was a primiere of a pre recorded video.
@@tommyvercetti891”It wAS A priMierE (spelled wrong btw) Of a pRe ReCoRDed ViDEo” 🐔🧽
@@tommyvercetti891 it was definitely a stream of Mayo’s tears
@@stephgreen3070 "sPeLleD wRonG bTw" 🐖💩...
I love how he’s not being held and could run away lol he’s just standing up bawling 😭 😂😂😂
HES SO FLUFFY IM GUNNA DIE!!!!
Your ending quote had me rolling 😂😂
I think you deserve a Noble peace prize for calming feisty animals during their grooming. Also a medal for bravery for grooming so long before muzzling these pets who obviously don't want to cooperate:) Mayonnaise looked beautiful at the end despite not being able to tame his "cheek" fur.
*Nobel
Wow! You transformed him from a matted fur grump into a stylish Tiger! For all the screaming, he LOVES that blow dry! Adorable as always!
Stylish tiger 😂
and look how tired he looks at the end, 16:30, aww :) cutie pie he's been through a lot, LOL.
Most of my pets primarily have food names but it’s so strange hearing her repeatedly saying “Mayonnaise” in a soothing tone to calm him down.
Nice to know I’m not the only one who meows back at cats. He really is so magnificent and fluffy once he’s groomed.
Glad that Mayo is doing better health wise.
So sad when he looks up at you like.."why are you doing this to me?"
Make no mistake, he was plotting his vengeance the entire time.
That is a very good kitty when it comes to his disposition, given the situation. Great personality. I love the “cone of shame”. 😅😅😅😅😅
Hello Carolyn 😊
My cat also came running into the room when she heard Mayo crying. Great job grooming this grumpy boy! I’m 100% sure he feels better afterward. My daughter’s cat Archie is a Himalayan and he, like Mayo, is not always cooperative. When he arrives back home, he struts around like a peacock.
Mayo’s face during dry is so funny and totally angry face. Owner should sleep with one eye open tonight
It's so funny how he hates the bath but LOVES the dryer!😄
The way he just lays there like a loaf of bread at the end 😅
This channel's been a great help. My parents have a senior Birman cat, and while she's nowhere as fluffy as a Persian, she's still prone to matting, especially as she starts to lose mobility. Or at least she was. Applying what I've been learning from watching these videos, and with a little trial and error, months and months have gone by so far, and there haven't been any more mats. Thanks so much!
Yup, when they have had enough, they aren't shy about telling you exactly that. Great job!!
Gosh his eyes! Gorgeous!
He so reminds me of a beautiful Persian I had years ago. Yell and fuss during bath time. If I stopped during the process and he was given a 'chance' to express his opinion, he got quiet and that was that. Every bath was the same program. He was a great cat.
My senior cat is laying on me purring up a storm while I watch. She was confused for a moment then decided she doesn't care 🤣
Not my cries? Not my problem
I love his little protest grumbles when you pick up his feet after you made him into an astronaut
Mayo only lets you live through the bath so he can just relax in the dryer 😂 I love this silly spicy fluffball. And for all his screaming like he's being boiled alive, he just stands there! Minimal attempts to actually escape.
I love that you started making longer videos, this format is actually so relaxing
I was watching this on my living room TV, and it seriously concerned my 3 cats, and even my Dutch Shepherd girl had to sit up and look to make sure the kitty was okay. ❤
One of my two dogs became very concerned when he heard this. (He loves cats, btw.)
The extended version of Mayonnaise’s bath that I didn’t know I needed.
Vanessa: Mayonnaise, don’t be a pain.
Mayo: Ma’am, that’s my job.
I was watching this video while sitting in bed and my 7 yo terrier mix, Lady, was listening to his screaming me-OOOOWs with a very concerned expression on her face. She was tilting her head to and fro... with great worry in her eyes. 🫣 She totally felt for Mr. Mayo! 🥰
She was also watching you bathe him...she loves watching videos, and has to be present during Zoom meetings, and video chats.
You're so gifted at this.
I hope you know how important your work is, and how much you help .
Mayonnaise looks so dashing .
I return to watch you and Mayonnaise periodically because it is precious how you are with cats. Especially the spicier variety🐾
A full 16 minutes with Mayo! Thank you for the early Christmas gift 💖
The fact he is screaming “Help” is hilarious. Too cute and funny. Poor spicy Mayo little feisty feline. 😂🥰❤️😼
"It's okay."
*MEOWS FOR DEAR LIFE*
@@Theturtleowl 😂😂😂😂 right. Frozen in fear until he remembers he can escape. Still cries Help. 😂😂😂😂 hilarious
I nearly started crying as soon as he started screaming! 😹 It LEGIT sounds like he's screaming "HELP!" I also loved that once she "agreed" with him that "this is not ok" he started to take the volume of his cries down! 😹
@@TaraLyz We gotta give points to Mayo for his 'Karen' voice, his "I wanna see the manager now!" voice is top notch 😂🤣😂
Totally agree! He definitely was asking for Help and a manager. 😂😂😂😂
I love the "origin story" of his name. One thing's for sure - he's definitely unforgettable!
Every time I see Mayonnaise I cry because he looks exactly like our cat KrazyKat who passed away. Even the temperament is the same and we miss him dearly.
A full length Spicy Mayo!!!!! My dreams have come true. I honestly can't get enough of this cat
I love that he goes into passive aggressive loaf pose when he knows you need to get at his mane and ruff.
You are awesome! And Mayo is my favorite among your clientele. You were there when he needed you. Thank you so much.

The way he loafs up like that makes him look like one of those brown fuzzy caterpillars ❤️🐛🤎
Vanessa : "Its ok buddy"
Mayo : " I assure you, you are wrong"
I think I have seen every video on this channel but Mayo is by far my absolute favorite 😍
It’s so cute that the only thing that lowers the volume is when you mew back at him
Yeah Mayo obviously doesn't like being talked back to in his language but you gotta love him 🤣😾
