Soldier is the bronze dps pick when you’ve been spamming i need healing all game because you stand with your back to a wall.
It’s amazing how often people complain about heals when you are actively healing them. I had a soldier who was being hit in the face by a Reinhardt earlier. I Suzud him and healed him as much as I could but instead of using his sprint to run away he just stood there and face tanked it and died. Then he wrote in chat “HEAL FFS”. It happens all the time.

The way you play Dva is very similar to mine and I'm in silver. I'm very confident that you'll rank up if you continue to play as shown in this video, especially if you can apply Emongg tips.
Make sure to focus on your flight control too! I’ve noticed you fly into walls a lot and freak out sometimes haha! I feel if you focus on your flight control you’ll be able to see the field better! Great job tho you’re honestly one of the best bronze dvas I’ve seen :D
Something potentially far-fetched and minor, but something I would like to still point out regardless is at 12:58. When you made your getaway mercy was healing you, and shortly after you turned the corner she died. While it was never looked at, she may of potentially been able to fly to you and escape in that fight. Yes this is a very specific kind of situation, and yes this may of been something you couldn't of prevented, however, I would still like to make it known about remembering to help make sure your supports in bad positions can get out safely. I apologize if I may of came off as snarky or nitpicky in this comment, best of luck to your matches and ranking!
your aim is decent, just one thing, aim up slightly, you are aiming at the middle of the enemies chest, although this is a good tactic to land shots, its not optimal, try aim for their neck or upper chest, this way you still land most of your shots, but there is more chance to hit heads. You should be able to get a bit more damage this way.
I laugh so hard how bad you are playing as Dva hahahah I told emongg that he is right you didn't belong at Bronze you belong the rank before Bronze... I am sorry but that gameplay was Horrible

As also a bronze Dva one trick on tank, it's good to hear these. It's also good to hear these tips on other heroes bc it tells us how to deal with dvas when playing those heroes. Thank you for being kind to this player and genuinely wanting them to do good.

Agreed! Definitely better to play aggressive to see what you can get away with (: Bronze Tanks are usually too passive from what I've seen.

@@dazey856 sometimes there is a thin line between perfect aggression and feeding 😂 I'm a support main so when I play tank, I usually do feeding, which helps me be patient with my tanks when they're struggling to stay on the right side of the line lol
@@sethescope the main issue is that they don't know when to fall back, they always want to finish a kill or something, but sometimes it's better to just zone an enemy carry and fall back, no need to lose your life when your main goal was already accomplished

Moira chasing dps to heal them, as they lose los and then getting roasted for not healing is my daily struggle :/
If she hadn’t thrown a random damage orb into the enemy half a second earlier she’d have had a healing orb to throw him instead and it could have been avoided.
Also if she hadn’t been the furthest forward member of her team (typical Moira) she would have seen that he was in trouble earlier and been in a better position to reach him with the healing spray.
Love this video from emongg. I love Flats more "aggresive" bronze spectating videos but listening to emongg break down and explain whats the best way to play the game in such a nice and teaching way is also something I would look forward too as well.
Unfortunately I submitted my Vod review but it wasnt dva so it got skipped but after this, Ill definitely be looking forward to submitting once I play her.

I play on a 55 inch screen so keeping track of the kill feed has always been a problem, sound on deaths is by far my favourite new feature, complete game changer.

I will try and turn around even if I see one slipping past me to eat it and prevent damage on the back line. Like Emongg was saying wait on the micro missiles for eat. Typically, at least in my low ranks, when I approach her, she will fade and then orb. Eat the orb and blast the crap out of her with missiles and cannons.
Not sure if it's still a thing, but Dva was able to get a non-zero healing stat by eating them, because the game would change ownership of the projectile before deleting them, allowing for one tick of healing to get squeezed in.

That doesn't look like the typical bronze skill level dva to me. But great tips emongg.
I feel like people have no idea what bronze is actually like. the entire community has grown over time, so the bronze players of 2017 and 2018 aren't the bronze players of 2022 (and the same goes for every other rank). and there's a HUGE range of skill within bronze as well, just like how someone on the lower end on a rank usually plays much differently than someone on the higher end of that same rank.

Alot of these players limitations are there aims
There are a lot of Hidden Gems in Casuals, Low Ranked, and Arcades that just simply aren't competitive or dislike Comp as a whole or hearing people bitching 24/7 about something gets annoying when they just wanna Vibe or its for some benefit like in-game currency or something. Those just being the most common reasons.
bro I was mid-high plat in overwatch 1 and got placed bronze 5 at the beginning of the game. It took me forever to climb back

I think he's partnered or hired by them as a content creator. In my opinion, it's because they're afraid of his power as a potential opponent, so they take him as a creator.
He's is indeed a content creator that is partnered with them, for example he hosts watch parties in his stream I believe when shock plays. He doesn't play for the shock team though.
Just like flats and jay3 are partnered with Florida mayhem, ml7 with Dallas fuel.
I do so good as dva in comp with like 15k mit almost as much damage, thirty killls, and I’m always pushing point but then I get stuck with teammates who never push and are scared, and I’ll get games like 5 wins and 1 lost and still be stuck on bronze 5
My friend went 6-1 and ended up Bronze 5. He hasn’t touched the game since then.
I suspect many bronze and silver don’t belong there.
Depends if he was in a low elo to begin with in ow1. I have noticed I have placed around 1k lower on every role except support. I placed gold 5 on tank, silver 5 on dps and gold 5 on support. To be fair most placements where done in the first week and a half of ranked and had a ton of smurfs/cheaters. I used to be 2800 on tank, 2500-2600 dps and 2700-2800 support.
I have been climbing, haven't played allot of ranked but currently at plat 1, silver 3 and gold 1 on support.
The placement matches are still very weird. I swear I lost like 14 dps games and before I won 7, and placed silver 5 my brother placed silver 1 and he was like 3100 in ow1. He didn't lose nearly as many maybe like 4-5 before he got 7 wins.

I just watched a huge debacle about how a bronze player in one of j3's videos thought that suzu boots you off the map and now emong just said it Boop's you a little. If you don't know it's the J-3 top 500 Cassidy versus five bronze players. One of the Bronze players said that it Boop's you a little and everyone was laughing hysterically about it, including me. It does not really Boop you does it? Why is he saying that? I'm so confused. Maybe that bronze kid watch this video and that's why he thinks that. LOL

it used to boop, yes. it doesn't anymore but at one point, it did. you could even cancel a res if the Mercy started the res at maximum range. however, it doesn't anymore.

So I'm a little confused cuz I just started playing overwatch 2 and I'm new to the game but I just hit diamond 1 how dose someone get bronze jw?
There was a confirmed bug that put people down there + the soft reset put people lower than what they were in OW1. Since you had 0 match data previously it went by the games you have played and gave you MMR, win streaks get you higher etc... MMR is volatile. You'll either climb fast or fall fast now depending on your performance in leading games :) You'll have to play more games to find out where you truly belong. Hope this helps.
@@Lolia. Very apt explanation! Also not all players are the same :) There are a lot of older people in Bronze, for example. A lot of people with some form of hindrance - technical, physical, or schedule - are at the very lowest SRs, basically what you'd expect. People in low-to-mid elos disconnect a LOT more, I've noticed.
@@karamei yeah technical/not great pc setups can be really influential. For example I used to be playing on a laptop with 50-80 fps and the fps would fluctuate alllot and wouldn't be stable at all. Last year I bought a gaming laptop and got 144 stable fps. Still had a really old 60 hrz monitor. I limited my fps to 120 and I went from 1600 to 2.1k in 1 week on dps. Purely because I wouldn't have fluctuating fps. People would actually end up where the movement showed they would. Even on 60 hrz it made a giant difference. Then a few months later and I got a 144hrz monitor and I went to 2500-2600 on DPS my accuracy improved by around 15% and I got 2x more headshots. Purely because I would shoot where they would end up and not have them move halfway through.
The most noticeable difference is in widow Vs widow imo. I would just always lose because of unstable fps and them literally seeing me sooner.
So make sure your fps is stable even if it's low, stable fps is 10x better then having 10 more fps and it dropping by 20+ regularly.
i mean u can tell this was clearly an ego vod from the dva. Her team was kinda popping off anyways and was superior to the enemy team, i mean on Illios well she instantly fell off the hole 2 times in a row and her team still won the fight lol. also she constantly dived into them and wasnt punished nor focus fired almost never where as in gold and higher she would have definitely fed. definitely belongs to silver and not bronze though
You should only color swap as support and that is based on play style. The eye and brain interpret colors in different order. Red as one of the first colors seen, should be the focus of tank, DPS and support. Unless the support is prioritizing DPS then go back to enemy being red.
Is this actually bronze in this game? Sure he made mistakes, but seems like a solid player who's defintely not playing their first games.
bronze is like any other rank. there's a variety of skill levels within the rank - someone on the lower end of any rank plays much differently than someone on the higher end of that same rank - and over time, the entire overwatch player base has grown and gotten better at the game. so a bronze player in 2022 plays much differently than a bronze player in 2017, for example.
so yes, this person is in bronze. I think most people have extremely outdated ideas of what lower ranks are like and would be very surprised by the reality.

I watch streamers that make new account because they not playing with their friends and don't want to lower their rank.... so they prefer creating new account to punishing new players at competition... this is a big problem because you have this GM players making lower rank lose their rank... not fair at all....
Scary how good bronze players are. In Valorant, there's bronze players who can't even aim at a target. Here, bronze tanks be doing things I don't even know how to do.

The Moira threw a damage orb at the enemy team right before she turned and saw soldier on 1 HP. If she hadn’t been the furthest forward me ever of her team (as 8/10 Moira’s usually are) she would have seen that soldier was exposed a little sooner and had the chance to throw him a healing orb.
