@@d00mnoodle62 Reading up on the statistics, the game is barely pushing out a million players at peak since the start of 2021, and I'm being extremely generous by giving it an error of the statistics reading of around 200k players. I'm not sure where you get the 'millions' from but uh, maybe you should try the educating part yourself.
Another nice tip is if you ult and a Mei freezes herself to survive, go an re-mech on her right before she comes out. Got a satisfying kill like that yesterday.
As a D.Va main, it's really good to try to keep track of an enemy Hanzo's location and be as close to it as circumstances allow so you can eat his ult. A lot of these tips are good for higher tier play, but lower tiers are a completely different environment. Ulting Bastions just fire their cannon as much as possible without trying for rocket jumps, so you have very little time to recharge your matrix, so the best bet is to use your armor to soak up a shot or two while aggressively closing the distance and making sure he doesn't shoot your team mates. D.Va is extremely good at being aggressive, and many enemies can be caught off guard by a quick advance, just make sure it's not a group of enemies, because they have protection in numbers and their initial shock is lessened. It's easy to say that the tips in this video are completely accurate (not saying he's wrong, he is right) but that's only in a 1v1 situation, which is not likely to happen in this game. In a team game, you need to prioritize which hero's abilities to matrix. You don't always have the luxury of playing games with Zarya to bait out grav when your team is getting shot at, punched, hammered, and blown up all at once, so you take everything as it comes and roll with the punches. Matrixing a Death Blossom going off in the middle of your team is good, but chances are, it will be followed up by a Deadeye or tac visor, and your matrix is out. D.Va's abilities are great, but one of her greatest assets is her large player model. If you don't have matrix up when McCree deadeyes, for example, you can place yourself as close to him as possible so your model obscures your team and only your mech is lost instead of your healers. I don't mean to steal the thunder from McGravy or KarQ, but it seems most of the guides out there are only effective in higher tier play, which has maybe a tenth of the players that are in low tier. Low tier players panic and use their abilities in unpredictable ways, so it's more difficult to react to them. You can't burst a Baptiste to bait out his immortality field because they'll tend to hold onto it expecting to either die before they can use it, or survive and keep it for another, more serious threat. Also, low tier players have different target priorities than high tier players in that they tend to try to focus down the tanks first instead of the supports, and D.Va is one of the more threatening and therefore primary targets of everyone at low rank, so you can't really get picky about what you matrix when the whole enemy team is shooting at you. This video has great tips, all of the tips given are incredibly useful, but they should be taken with a grain of salt when it comes to low rank, low communication gameplay. I'm not an expert on D.Va, and I will probably get flamed in the comments, but I just wanted to help the "little guy" that plays Overwatch who doesn't go up against enemies that follow a general standard of how different characters are played and are predictable in when, where, and how they will use ults or abilities.
@@purplewine7362 actually, they don't. Most of them depend on predictable behavior from enemies and allies that are only predictable with higher levels of skill and coordination. Lower tiers are a chaotic mess of unpredictability and panic. More skilled players are able to stay collected and maintain calmness in intense situations, so they can still react in ways they would even in low stress situations. In the low tiers, the lower skill level increases the rate of panic among players, and in a state of panic, players take less logical actions which are impossible to predict. The tips in the video can be USEFUL in low tier, but more often than not, the situations players find themselves in at those lower tiers make it so that they are not likely to be used. You can't take something established in a well formed and very rigid area of skill and gameplay and apply it to a collection of various different skill levels and playstyles. That's like taking standard NFL plays and applying them to someone's Turkey Bowl, the level of skill and the reasons for playing are completely different.

@@purplewine7362 I think of Junkrat like Mercy. Relatively easy to use but there's only so much you can do with them. Junk has versatility but he has no chance against any 1v1 at high ranks.. With him being easier, it'd only piss off most of the playerbase if he gets any change that isn't a nerf. I like Prolikechro's change idea where instead of concussion mine always launching people up with full control, it launches people in the opposite direction relative to the player, like Pharahs blast but a much smaller AOE and damaging. Skilled players will be able to take advantage and predict where the mine will launch enemies and be able to hit follow-up shots that feel less bullshit than general spam.

I WAS LOOKING FOR AN UPDATED DVA ONE TIP VIDEO YESTERDAY YESSS DVA MAINS RISE!!!!!!!!!!!!
we rise!
These tips are on another level 💪
2:49 I kept doing that exact thing to a Winston all game and he didn’t learn 😂😂😂
So refreshing to know that I already do all of this. I'm not great but at least I'm not doing it wrong.
ALSO another tip for lucio. Im pretty sure if he boops u off u should try to missle urself against a wall because it will take his kill away which takes away ult charge im pretty sure idk though
Finaly, I waited for new dva tip!
Pro Dvas are so smart. Just wish I would have seen McGravy play this season.
The Winston tips aren’t on Route 66 :O
finally its about time thanks mcgravy!
Wow. you make this vid the same day I think about starting to main dva
This is a good guide. I just started maining d.va so this is perfect.
The dva bomb can also block bullets so you can hide behind it and wait for the remech if the situation calls for it
These tips are so useful tysvm!
1. Be over powered
2. Hold down the fire button
3. Use your ult
4. Win
perfect timing, i was planning on doing a unranked to gm but its to diamond because I'm shit as dva, but now its unranked to top 1
i like how the brigitte tip was basically dont get stunned lol
I love how most every pro's tip for Junkrat is related to his ultimate. It's like he's a nonfactor outside of his ultimate to them. He so needs buffs or changes
He’s good for choke points if you play him right especially on console
he needs to be a more skilled hero. his skill floor is too low
@@panicow6005 But that's just choke points and small rooms. Literally every character does something better than he does. Even reaper can at least one-shot at close range with a single trigger pull. In general he's good at taking advantage of players' predictability and stupidity and that's why he's good on console on general. Everyone there is using an interior tool, that being the controller.
@@brightenblack207 yea true I use him on console when I don’t feel like aiming
Just call mech on them, that's my tip vs every hero
6:20 You can body block a teammate or fly towards mccree depending on the scenario right?
still can't get over how the valiant did my guy and the other bois dirty
Whenever I hear your intro all I can think about are nuggets and head-ph-ones
BRO I MISS DOUBLE TANK
The most important tip for DVA is to dive low HP enemies, no matter how much you have to chase. DVA is great for 1v1
Thank you!!!
The broken dva matrix is incredibly annoying ....it literally doesn't eat orbs that are 1 or 2m in front of me more often than not, so I will try the wiggle out and see how it goes👌
Why am I watching this I haven’t played overwatch in ages
TYSM FOR THIS VIDEO I MAIN THE HELL OUT OF DVA
The video I NEEDED!
thank you karq, very cool
idea for a video: 1 D.Va Bomb for every map
Awesome tips :D
When came the new 1 tip for sigma
I never play D.va, just really really don't like the playstyle myself. Yet I still love watching this video xD
1:05 lmao eliminated ult charge
LOVE YOU KARQEWWWWW :D
I can proudly say that I never lost to a Dva while playing as Roadhog
