Dva is one of those characters where it doesn't feel like you are doing much until you realize that you have wiped the enem team

Yeah the bullets just don’t feel like they have any punch but they’re amazing for suppressing fire. She’s super fun to play but I have a hard time carrying with this character

With DVa you either do practically nothing or 300 damage in half a second.
Its always hilarious to dominate as Dva then see the enemy switch to zarya as a last ditch effort
it makes me laugh sm it manages to distract me for a minute before i can lock in again

I love to play DVa and she's my favorite tank alongside Reinhardt and Wrecking Ball. Tank isn't my strong role but DVa is my must-pick on almost any given map. Her mobility is insane, she can boop and also making so many kills as Baby DVa is quite satisfying!
Yeah her defense matrix is really good too especially when hitscans are meta

@@bkrocks29 my dude the other day i had nothing but Brigs rushing me as baby Diva and like NONE of them understood the fact I basically had a meteor strike. They didn't learn either. at first i thought it was the same brig i was playing against but double-checked the names and it was like 5 or 6 different people lol
yeah theres a reason dva is the meta pick on numbani right now especially, that high ground is utterly killer, and always has been, and shes the best tank to hold it in the game, just sitting slightly above the enemy and m1ing them down is soooooo strong
As a Dva main who has found a good Sombra player I play with, she's really fun to play with because I can finish up what my Sombra can't and the hacked health packs help with staggers like that brig.
Would love to play with you too one day, my main in dmg is sombra but I am starting to play mei

New to the Game and i absolutely love dva!! She is never not doing something and get versatility to play defensive or Chase is just SO fun

Nobody ever heals me .. I understand that you need to support the dps , but I have to protect the whole team , so atleast heal me every now and then 😂

Been playing Dva for the past 6 years and 11 months and starting 2018 onwards you need to be aware that 1v1 with a Brigitte usually results in Dva losing because her attacks go through your Defensive Matrix. Furthermore the Swede survives both Ult and Micro missiles with the barrier shield.
Watching your gameplay has made me a better Diva and a future Diva main.. I really appreciate your tips and Diva knowledge!
Dva can actually be so crazy. I was getting team kill after team kill w/ her today during my rare "i feel like playing tank" moment

Watching Emongg makes me miss when I was a Dva main. Dva was my main back in ow1. I then decided to try learning support. Then I became a Mercy main. Through those years, I still love Emongg and his Dva gameplay. He'll forever be the reason I ever bothered trying Dva. ♡

It's a bit of a misconception that you have to swap off as soon as you see a Zarya. You just have to play footsies and wait for her bubbles to be on cooldown to get close to her. In an isolated 1v1 with no healers around Dva actually destroys her with micro missiles if Zarya doesn't have any bubbles left. By default Zarya does have a slight upper hand but under certain contexts she can be outplayed by Dva.

@@BeginsWithTheEndin a 1v1 DVa wins easily. Zarya only has 475 HP so if you just kite her bubbles you can delete her in 2 seconds flat.
DVa does 148 dps with the cannons, so theoretically with headshots you do 296 dps. Realistically because of the spread you do about 200 damage. The micro missiles theoretically do around 190 damage over 2 seconds, but in reality they actually do roughly 130 damage if every one hits. On a tank you can pretty much guarantee every missile will hit, especially if you rocket boost into them (which also gives you another 15 damage). This means over the course of 2 seconds you can reliably do over 500 damage. 400 from the cannons, 100 from the missiles, and 15 from the boop. I don’t include the melee because the 30 damage is at best an extra 10 damage since your cannons stop firing while you melee, so in reality you actually do less damage this way. The melee is only really useful against smaller targets that more of your pellets will miss thanks to the spread, or being a little off centre with your aim.

Yeah using dva to amplify advantages like that is really potent
similar things can be done with other ults too
One spare tip I thought of is using matrix to block enemy healing to combo off of slept targets
You can eat ana shots, ana nade, kiriko heals, and even kiriko suzu so it can be worth it
One of my favorites to do is diving in when Reaper goes to blossom to both distract the enemy by ramming into them but also protecting him so he gets the full ult off.

Pharah's ult has a lot of damage potential but it's also one of the ults that leaves a player most vulnerable. If she can get a pick and also survive the ult, that's usually the team fight.

Dva is objectively the best character/ moveset in the game. Everybody else I just kinda mess around with. Dva is for when I gotta pull some superhero ish and win.
It feels SO GOOD to know I’ve been playing her right. It’s just as satisfying to see someone play like me! Hana’s my girl, man. This makes me smile. :)

Also as someone in high Plat, watching your masters/gm perspective, esp how badly the enemy.play in making decisions (like the cass n mercy), I meet alot of smarter players in my rank..
Makes me.think really the rank system is rly fucked. Also saw in Flat's game widow miss so many ez shots, which in my plat/diamond games, my widows wouldn't miss
The matchmaker itself is currently broken. It is matching Top500/GM/Masters against gold and diamond players, sometimes even lower. I haven't played comp since before OW2 launched because it just wasn't fun for me. Too many toxic players and I'm not a very competitively minded person. I play QP for the weeklies and CTF whenever its available cause it's a fun mode. CANNOT WAIT for PVE to finally be added so there will be something FUN for me.
matchmaker has been pretty bad in OW 2 lately. they've tried to fix it but i think the entire system is just F'd up at this point. No tank is going to get by just fine without at least one decent support player, not even Ball. Dva has the benefit of just being the most versatile tank in the game pretty much

Ok great, but why does he hold so much the ult, how am I supposed to use ult, as a last resort? I know it depends but I would like an explanation, if someone would be so kind.
for dva, her ult is a great zoning tool. it can keep enemies off the objective, or force them into the same area (in a room or behind cover) to shoot at them easier once they come out again. there are certain areas on certain maps where you can get nice kills because there is no good cover around (the tunnel of third point numbani for example) but usually in higher ranks bomb doesnt get many kills. if you're anywhere from bronze to plat, though, throwing it up in the air (kind of at a 45 degree angle) will usually get at least 1 kill as long as the enemy isn't right beside a room or wall. im silver-gold for tank and can usually pull off double-triple kills quite easily! don't worry too much about it though-- it comes with time and practice.
In all ranks, it isn't the best to waste resources before the enemy commits. Especially on defense. The enemy is going to use ultimates and abilities to retake the point and if you throw yours out for kills then they will wait for the guys to respawn and retake the point 10 seconds later with all of their ults.
Also everyone plays with cover in high ranks. So they'll just hide from bomb and it's more worth it to go deep for kills/bait out abilities. Then u can still live and regain all of your abilities when u otherwise would die or have everything on cooldown and require healing/abilities from your supports.
If you are Defense Matrixing a Hammond when they pop thier mines, does the DM eat all the mines?

Ngl dva is my least played tank, I played doom even more(+-100 hours), for me she is really weakest tank in most metas,ultimate is worst one in her kit so far, too much random bulshit
this could not be more wrong. she is literally the most versatile tank in the game and you will struggle to find any content creator who thinks she's not consistent. She is great at diving, peeling for your backline, and just playing defensively. she can do just about anything and her only weakness is lack of ranged firepower like Winston.
you aren't using her ult correctly. it's a zoning tool and it also comes with basically a free meteor strike when you re-mech. even if you never get a single kill with it it's basically a free 2nd health pool (you should almost never be using your ultimate with your mech at close to full hp honestly)

I’ve seen nothing new nothing worth applauding this is the base line dva gameplay I’ve seen masters low and high play dva this way.
This dva gameplay hasn’t taught me any sort of new or tech at all, all I see is basic “game sense “ that all players should have 😮 srry to break it to you but your just like the rest of us!
The One thing you need to pay attention too, How dva’s use there bomb thats what makes dva players so unique but here I haven’t seen any sort of Effort or strategy in the way you use your bombs, you have showcased the most basic tactic of dva bomb I call it “Stay or Pay” it’s when you drop your bomb on payload or point and cap.
