Another use for the matrix is to deny healing. If there is an Ana or a Zen on the other team, covering a small high value target that is low hp with your matrix and then using missile barrage is a great way to finish them off.
Why Zen?

I 1 tricked Dva to Diamond 2 basically on console in OW1 and didn't even realize I was doing most of this as early on we were just figuring her out... fast forward and I switched to PC, left the game for a few years and needed a refresher lol. Great video and pretty easy to understand, I honestly do the vertical and the angled the most when it comes to her bombs... I actually forgot it could slide on the roofs, did it on Eichenwald one time and laughed so hard 🤣🤣
Diamond 2 is overwatch 1?

I appreciate this guide, Dva has been my main since I started playing OW2 these past 2 weeks. I've platued at Diamond 5/4.
I'm looking forward to trying to implement this and try to be more aware of the games instead of falling into auto pilot

Do you have any suggestions for when your mech gets melted? What's the play as baby DVa? Do you die on the point to respawn with mech or play your life and try to get mech back? This video has helped me a lot, but sometimes I just get melted and sometimes I'm stuck as baby DVa for too long trying to get back in the fight

what do you mean by skimming bomb on a roof or surface and how does it give the enemy less time to react?
I’ll be real, I’ve played Dva since 1 came out. The only reason it should be really hard to play her is if the enemy has heroes you can’t DM or a really good Sombra. Otherwise it shouldn’t be bad to flank/push they’re healers to let your dmg wipe them
Is sombra such a threat in 2? The disable is only a second now

It’s an easy take out of mech bc she can stop the DM but since it’s only 1 second it got easier
But most tank rely on abilities

If I ever get into Overwatch 2 on the Switch, then I will main DVA because as a gamer myself, I’m generally going to find the female gamer with the mech more relatable to me. It’s also because of the Gremlin DVA meme that she’s going to be my main.
I still don't really get what marking is and how it differs from diving. Is it just a dive you aren't expecting to be successful that is used to simply distract that enemy?
At the end you suggested DM to block Chain Hook. That doesn't work does it?

You know man marking in football? It's like that (search it up if you don't know what I mean)
You're essentially flying/boosting towards, sitting on and following lethal individuals on DVa like sojourn or soldier ensuring they don't kill your team, with the help of your big HP pool, matrix and micro missiles.
i love sandblasting from a slight off angle (ideally highground) down main and I can tell that they look at me and there's an uncertainty of whether to commit to trying to get me to stop LOL
