Tbh shoutout to his entire team! They all clutched up after losing their second support and said, "nah we win these" Like, obviously, Pharah is really good in Bronze because no one shoots at her (or at least that's my experience) and they did have a Junkrat (which gets stomped by Pharah) but like still! The Widow was hitting shots, the Kiriko/Moira support was working over time, and the Pharah made some good plays
😊😊
The enemy team was horrible. They kept swapping to sweaty characters and trying to counter, and it was a 5v4 and they STILL lost.
jup, pharah and widow did their part well as well, as did kiriko. But sig did way better than their tank did and I guess their whole team.
Bro high gold is the same with pharah my dps will NOT switch to hitscan and expect me (sigma) to kill her
@@JustapErson I think the fact that widow was able to stay as widow for three match with a Tracer, Moira, and a Roadhog. Two Flankers and a character with the cheapest way to one shot someone, and she only died three times until swapping for their 2nd defense. One by Tracer Ult, One by Hook Oneshot (I believe), and one by Moira Orb.
first half: this is a bronze game?!
Second half: ... this is a bronze game.
Yesss😂😂😂
they started out so strong. i blame the psychological decline during a match ahah
When he ate the Moira orb, I thought “get this man outta bronze, there’s no way that’s a bronze brain to think to do that.” I mean, that’s immediate potential right there. This man can climb. I believe it.
I started to heat orb in a game once just for fun. Then I saw I had 19k dmg mitigation. That stuff eating orb I wouldn’t thought was so useful lmao
Then he starts to eat melee hammar 😂😂😂
@@johndrippergaming bro let me panic in peace lmao
I enjoyed how this sigma actually paid attention to cooldowns and punishes the team accordingly
How is this guy bronze. His aim was so consistent I would easily believe I'm watching a youtuber
1. Bad positioning
2. One game out of many
3. Mechincal aim is important, but not the most important for tanks
@@zbeavermanz4277 his positioning for the context of most fights seemed alot better than most bronzes I currently see
Mostly because ig he came from season 31
Aim? Consistent? Nah
Probably stuck with bad teammates
@@zbeavermanz4277 yeah he did have some bad positions here and there BUT for the most part he kited when needed (sometimes too late but still most wont even try in bronze) his target prioritization was pretty good, follow up on rocks as well. Shield use was decent, save for some moments but everyone has those. If you know how to play sig you can survive ridiculously long with good shield management. The amount of rocks from the enemy sig he blocks is like 7 or 8. meanwhile I think only 2 or 3 from his side were.
A good example of the state of bronze right now. It’s either decent players or npcs. And the good players who could find a home in gold or even platinum can’t climb without a lot of effort because of how insane the matchmaking is down here in the pits
If you're actually meant to be in gold or even platinum, then you can climb. If people can't climb out of bronze that is on them
Even though the other team was playing like bots, this Sigma did very well. He was managing cooldowns well, meleeing between hyperspheres, and bouncing his orbs to hit enemies in cover. I could easily see him climbing to high silver/low gold with that great foundation to build from.
That 4 man team should've played as a party the next games. They all performed really well for Bronze lobby. Also, you will be surprised of how many actually good players are in lowers ranks. This is because mostly they are playing solo and gets qued mostly with fresh/noobs and is having a hard time ranking up due to this. Also, there are a lot of smurfs on their alt account. :)
They themselves are the smurfs lmao. This guy said he was bronze for 5 seasons yeah right
@@virtuallybroken54 well not that easy to get out of if you don't play very often, and your aim is just meh. I play a lot of sigma, I can do this and better yet still only high silver atm, just because soloQ gives me so much new players that don't understand yet how to play around sigma or know when to be agressive and when not to. Its quite frusttrating even in silver there are lots of DPS that have gone with ZERO kills first round with heroes like junk, soldier and torb. I mean, thats an accomplishment on their own but holy hell. if only the enemy Ana could hit their anti nades and sleeps a bit, they could have won easily. But well, bronze happened.
@@pr0faker dude solo q is so shitty. I'm Plat in tank and damage rn. But I started my entire overwatch 2 season off on support. And neglected it after the fuck you wipe. If they dont improve the rank decay after each season. I will quit this grind fast of a ladder. Fucking won 2 sets of 7 in silver 1 i love feeling like im getting no where blizzard thank you.. And guess where I still am. Silver 1. Maybe about 5 losses in all of those. Fucking sucks.
@@pr0faker you dont need to play much to get out of bronze in ow2 if you deserve even like gold which i would say this sigma could do fine in gold/plat just like 2 ranks up 3 at the most would get out of Bronze but in all reality this sigs smurfing lol hasn't been bronze since season 31 lol hes the best player by far I've seen in any spectating bronze series
@@H4ntOW Fully agreed! I never played overwatch but used to play FPS consistently. They placed me in low gold and I never really derank.
This Sigma is equal or probably better than my Sigma so bronze makes no sense. (Also the fact that Elo Hell isn't real)
this guy is WAY better than me and i just got placed into silver. wish i could play like that.
also i'd love to see more vod reviews!!! this was great
That's bc he's smurfing.
@@virtuallybroken54 bro can't believe a bronze is better than him💀😂
Gotta love how the enemy tank went Sigma for the second round too... It's always such a good compliment when the enemy tank swaps to whoever you're playing because of how well you were doing
He's not playing like the stereotypical OW1 bronze player. A very impressive Sigma carry though. Props to the shorthanded team. Well done.
he has golden weapons he is bronze now but clearly he wasnt in OW 1. Nobody stays that much time in bronze.
@@EsotericPain if you solo q it's Def possible lol.
@@xSyn_ fr dude I'm gold rn and I have dps and supports dropping 2k total in stats most games
The ranking system is all kinds of fucked right now
He been bronze for 5 seasons that’s an easy gold gun
Tbh I think it was a team effort the support worked overtime the dps played out of their minds especially widow at the second point attack and the pharrah on defense and the space the tank made and the balls to the walls play style is insane.
All I can say is G f*#king G
I wanna see this match again but from the POV of the Sigma’s Kiriko.
I was like "wow this team is too good for bronze" then they forgot to push payload for 40 seconds on the third point of first attack and it made sense lmao
Bc smurfs
The ragdoll on Junkrat at 19:36 made me burst out laughing. 😂
AND AT 19:47 THAT REINHARDT... 💀
I just reached plat and still climbing. I have been a diamond/master for many many seasons. This guy could easily be in my games and i would be happy to have him as my tank
No u wouldn’t he’s playing good cause the enemy team is just horrid this man would take a shit ton of hours to play in a high diamond master game
I'm in plat rn and I don't even play as good as this dude👀
This guy is a beast of a bronze. (Though his other teammates are chads as well)
Carried
..good? He threw more rocks at the walls than the enemy and tried to eat reins hammer XD He did well in this fight but to say he played GOOD in general is a bit of an overstatement
@@KhotaMaz bro touch grass. He played so much better than what we’ve come to expect in bronze
@@ManCatCheese True
he has golden weapons he might be bronze in ow2 but not in OW This sigma focus high ground, throw rocks at moira ults, eats hog ult with absortion, he constntly call the shield, he focus the squishies. He may be gold on OW1. He doesn't have a lot of awareness nor have the best positioning. But not bad at all.
This sigmas rock throws were on point. What a tank!
He has massive potential but watch the kill feed from the widow on his team. She was hitting shots at the perfect times
They all played very well
@14:05 Did not heard of that new Sigma's buff, where he can switch team! Pretty huge xD
as a sigma main when I play the tank role. I just love bastions so much. They give me so much overhealth and when they use there ult then more then 75% of the time then they try to ult me which I just absorb all of his missiles which gives me an insane amount of overhealth.
sigma went crazy, he had the universe singing to him fr 🥶🥶🥶🥶
That guy deserves whatever he wants
Good Sigma plays from that dude. Impressive win. =)
If I had a nickel for every 4v5 I've won since overwatch 2 has come out, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.
20:05 I love this flank-ception analysis
Watching these videos vs Flats's is like watching Gordon Ramsay with adults vs kids. Flats calling people dumbasses and emongg offering hot chocolate and "I'm proud of you kid".
one bad habit i saw a few times is that he would cancel his eat with rock before the eat was over. definitely need to let the eat animation end so u get the overhealth before going for the rock. good game though!!!
GM: I don't understand what's happening.
Bronze: yup, that's bronze
“Object permanence, out of sight out of mind” the bronze philosophy
Someone get this good Guy out of bronze ! He's clearly better than most of low elo tank ! If you are here buddy keep up !! You deserve better than bronze !
This reminds me of when one of our dps left after failing his first ult and we still somehow won with being down a dps pretty much the whole game
That 4 man team is like the teams I go against when I play comp. Meanwhile I get teammates that flank and leave me alone to die cause I'm a Mercy.
This is the definition of elo hell
sometimes it is really hard to get to a rank you belong, there is only so much you can do to carry a bad team, you can't gap all 5 by yourself consistently, and a lot of the time, especially in low elo, your team mates refuse to even be like average against what would be a reasonable expectation
Not sure if this is the right place to comment on, but watching u analyze plays is very helpful. I downloaded the game a few weeks ago and has been enjoying so far, got gold 5 i believe and now im plat 5, its in any role tho, not sure if that makes a difference, has been solo q-ing and been getting losses more than wins but somehow still ranking up
As a diamond Sigma main his foundation are decent but he need to work out for his barrier management and placement and his rock throw to counter enemy’s cd and ult usage too otherwise he good with sigma keep up the good work!
This right here is why I keep telling people that Sigma is the best solo-queue tank if you have no confidence in your healers. Forget Hog, Sigma can take 900 damage in self-regenerating shields before he even has to think about spending health he can't recover by himself, on top of a button that says "I can't take damage for the next few seconds AND I get bonus health to punish you for trying".... AND by the time they've gone through that overhealth chances are your shield is back. The less of your own HP you have to spend to do your job the better you are without a healer... and also the less ultimate charge you feed your enemies while you do it.
plus 200 shield that you can regen if you step away behind a corner
If moira fades during the drop from sigma ult she is invuln and takes no damage. She can't escape out of it but she can immune the drop dmg
Sometimes I trick myself into believing I'm this good with Sigma
13:52 I think i can clear this up a little emongg. At lower ranks, people's aim is so bad that they don't just blow up a tank. Think of it in terms of total damage needed to kill someone. A sig at 200 hp, if he's still got his cooldowns, is gonna be harder to kill than a dps/sup. I actually do this myself sometimes where I mostly ignore the tank and go for others, then focus tank once we're up a few. Tanks almost never die first unless they massively overextend past their supports. Whereas in high ranks, a tank slightly out of position might get blown up in a second from everyone shooting them at same time, but that basically never happens below plat.
I realize in the situations you're pointing out, they SHOULD be shooting the tank, but their muscle memory is kind of like 'every time I shot him before, he lived anyways, so I'm going for someone else'
Damn 13 hours in this video crazy long
@@holaiamdevil oh wtf, when i edited the time it added two zeros for some reason.
As someone in bronze, all bastions just hold left click no matter what. Genji deflecting directly in your face? Left click. Sigma suck? Left click. Zarya bubble (the bane of bronze)? Left click
"I want to see maybe I just saw it wrong."
Sigma: It's wrong. It's all wrong!
Tbh I would've thought this was a high gold/low plat game. Surprising he's in bronze
Bc he's not he's smurfing
The Widowmaker at 3:17 bagged three.
man this is way better than college studying
This is a quick play warrior who probably plays around gold to plat level and only plays a few games of ranked and "calls themselves bronze". Essentially a smurf without a second tank... that being said, awesome game play 4v5 is super impressive! Nice vid.
boi aint no way boi💀, the enemy just forgets him
They forgor 💀
That happens a lot in bronze
Widow getting consistant HS also sus
Tbh I feel like kiriko is the best support to run solo cause she has one of the fastest heals in the game and she gets ult crazy fast by just healbotting so if you just healbot and cleanse when necessary you can actually do pretty well
That sigma doesn't belong in bronze. The enemy Moira sure does though.
The opponents were bronze, but this Sigma clearly was not. I won a couple of games 4v5 in silver too when OW2 started and it was the exact same as this match, the opponents were not disciplined enough to stay patient and regroup. The Phara also played a big part in this, the overconfident 5 player team just fails to counter it.
Bronze lobbies has to be a bunch of older people and 10 year olds the way they forgot about an enemy right in front of them
Think this man deserves gold he’s got consistent solid aim and good game knowledge, not a pro or anything but defo not a bronze player
His Team literally went like: Shinzou wo Sasageyo!
Keep in mind the blizzard matchmaker thought this game was 50/50....when both sides had 5.
Okay, that was a bronze game for sure but no freakin way is that Sigma a bronze player...
i feel like his widow was better than bronze and probably was just late to getting placements done and is ranking back up.
That’s so cool! He’s team we’re so good too! That was so much to watch!
Does anyone still wanna say that Elo Hell doesn't exist. This guy was WAY better than any tank I've seen in Bronze.
What a team diff. Also especially support diff, my god. Enemy support Chair was not having a good time.
There's no way this guy is bronze. He's minimum Plat. Some decision making could keep him gold maybe, but this guy is nowhere near bronze. Along with his widow who was popping off.
He used his abilities properly and stayed level headed.
He pushed up, made space, hit abilities, didn't chase kills, used corners to avoid damage, this was a smurf lol
Thanks you!!!!! I have no fucking idea how no one is seeing this and the ones that are sus just blame it on ranked being broken in ow 2 even tho this guy said he was bronze since season 31. I've been searching for someone with a brain in these comments for like 30 minutes lmao
Just a theory but i think he grabbed 4 friends 1 actually bronze 3 not, got 4 other bronze accounts, played on his friends account that's actually bronze so people would believe it, had his bronze friend leave, won the 4v5 then they all had a good laugh seeing a top streamer and everyone else fall for it.
@@virtuallybroken54 that's a lot of steps lol. But to be fair his dps were popping off. At least for bronze standards. I don't see this guy being bronze, not anything crazy high rank, but bronze is filled with really bad players who don't even understand their abilities. And a widow in bronze hitting shots is always sus. So you could be right but I feel it is a stretch
@@dragonmaster951753 haha forsure it does sound like a lot but I could see people going through the effort if they thought of the idea and wanted to have a little troll. It's just hard to believe a bronze kiriko can keep up healing by herself and a bronze widow could get value in a 4v5 when she should just get run over. Granted it is bronze so anything can happen I guess
I'm pretty sure sigma is clearly not a bronze player. Say thanks to the broken calibrator at the start, that many players ended up in bronze 5. I myself got out of there to plat for two weeks.
Finally someone who sees!!! How is everyone (even emongg?!) Not seeing this.
It's not bc of broken rank tho bc he said he's been bronze for 5 seasons. Hes probably on a friends account. But the accuracy, the actually using abilities, the fast good ults, the turning around after firing to shoot a better target. Bronze players always watch all their abilities to see what happens. Just everything!!! not a bronze player at all
@@virtuallybroken54 you have to realize the bronze we know from ow1 have gotten much better in ow2 but still make silly mistakes. Forgetting to move cart. Wasting abilities too fast. Panicking a lot. Aim is wobbly. And overwall just mid gameplay. He isn’t bad but he would not keep up in anything above gold without even more practice.
I'm only 14min in, but another thing I see him do a lot is cancel his e before it gives him the health. He starts absorbing a ton of damage, then he uses his rock immediately after, stopping the overhealth generation
Honestly, this guy won't stay Bronze for too long if this level of play isn't a total outlier.
I’ve very impressed with this Sigma. I dig his shield usage. I’m shocked he’s bronze.
the widow was going crazy
Flanking Moira is basically how you climb out of bronze. When your dps have the brain of a cumquat the only way to kill the enemy supports is if you do it yourself. Find a kiriko who doesn't have shift, an ana who can't call for help, a zen who can't aim, a mercy who is boosting a braindead dps. Only works if the supports are disorganized though, you have to kill one then kill the other one, divide and conquer, then fade back to your team and heal
That reinhart really stepped off point to shield his Ana and run from a Moira, WHOSE ULT BYPASSES SHIELD. Game knowledge I guess - it is bronze
3:23 is exactly the comment someone would make who has never been in bronze and only knows bronze from the LOL vod reviews. The game (well, counting OW1 obviously) has been out since 2016, bronze games really aren't that bad anymore. And the fact the enemy team is just running at him probably means they thought they had this in the bag when it turned 5v4 and then completely got flustered when this wasn't the case.
To be fair, OW2 bronze has skewed towards the lol vods with the influx of new players. OW at the end, I rarely saw really bad bronze play. But this season I see so many basic misplays like blowing your cool downs on the engage.
My guess is. Having started in season 31, maybe getting into comp early and having learned over time through qp it created this situation
This is the definition of elo hell. The 4 people who probably deserve to be higher rank stayed and played while the obvious thrower left the game.
people be fighting for their life in bronze man
The Moira on the other team was tryna make it fair with all the flanking she did
well seeing as how the widow on his team did, killing her was quite a good move. But after the flank not much happened no in terms of capitalizing on that.
That widow obviously watches Emongg with that smg play style
It's just how you play sigma?
Look at the difference between: *A Four Person Team playing as a Team* and *Five people Blindfolded upsidedown no com kind of a Team* in their natural habitat XD
incase anyone doesn't know moira can't fade out, but fade at the right time avoids all dmg taken from the fall
That sigma is better than all my gold tank i ever had
I dont even get why people leave, like Loss+Penalty is even worse
could've been a dc, maybe had something more important to do, there's lots of reasons. not that im justifying leaving, it's infuriating, but there could've been a reason behind it
The flankers have become the flankees! Lmao
Bruh these games are so wild. Second round they could have brought things back if they'd stayed on sombra vs sigma but they went junkrat (into a pharah?) instead. They swapped off after the died from just standing still on cart too 😭
The thumbnail did not lie oml
Damn, if this is a bronze player then I must be wood tier lmao.
ngl its not hard to play sig as long as ur healers on ur team actually heal you like there supposed too lmao
If this guy's in bronze, i feel much better about my Silver 1.
My man should climb.
14:05 be red be dead if im blue they hdont have a clue
~Sigma mindset
5 minutes in and there is literally 0 chance this sig is bronze. He doesn’t play like a bronze. He’s just too good to be bronze
Exaclty just the ability management is statement enough
I recently had a comp game in Silver where i played Reaper i dive them and find myself behind the support lane so i just start shooting i get a kill so i'm like it's to bail but since i was still full health i wanted to see if i could get a second, so i just continue shooting and the fight ended me shooting them in the back and my team pushing in front that fight lasted for about 30s and at no point nobody turned around i swear for a moment i tought i was glitched out and invisible or something lol.
I think at bronze and silver you just kind of gets those games at time, idk
Bruh Baldmann deserves a special place in low/bronze ELO; Can't win with bastion, goes reaper, can't win with reaper goes sombra. Special place down there just for people like him.
honestly my man's looks like he could compete in my recent plat console lobbies, so he's probably like silver or gold on PC
10:20 Proof this is bronze: As a bronze player myself, that is the norm for where people hold. And it works more often than not.
One time in Gold our tank left early we won first round and clutched to 99% on second round, we lost the last one SIGHHH it was so sad
Wish I could have this kind of sigma in my gold rank
if you've never done a unranked to gm then ulting in the open is the game winning strat in bronze. I went 1450-2000 in season 14 as 76. it's hell here.
i feel like you should coach this guy. If he is consistent like that in games he shouldn't be bronze.
If this guy consistently play like that, and he doesn't climb up, he's in elo hell. He doesn't deserve to be in bronze at all.
I'd say 4/10 of my last games in Plat 1 as dps/support, my tank hasn't been anywhere near as good as this dude. Tbf it is console so count it as like high gold on pc. But yeah,, this dude can climb hopefully. OW2 is much more rewarding for individual pop offs I think. Good luck my G! Very entertaining game for bronze!
Sigma really lives up to his name😮💨
That widow got some nice kills to
Flanking the flank
tbf widow was getting mad picks
The losing team must have gotten sooooo toxic lol
