I just love the seriousness in his silliness. He's not hamming it up, he's actually almost convincing me its not him having a little fun in it. Its not often that you see this kind of humor in general, let alone in a science based video.
Something that keeps coming to mind when I watch these more recent videos is that Michael is actually a really funny comedian.
His comedy is based on eccentricity and non sequiturs. The whole skits are basically a mix of a talking Mr. Bean and science lessons.
