Couple Accused of Paying for Slain Microsoft Exec’s Execution Appear in Court

- The formerly married duo accused of paying for Jared Bridegan’s murder appeared in court Friday for a hearing after being extradited to Florida. Bridegan’s ex-wife, Shanna Gardner-Fernandez, and her ex-husband, Mario Fernandez-Saldana, allegedly hired a hitman, Henry Tenon, to execute the Microsoft executive in a plot to gain full custody of Shanna and Jared’s children. Tenon pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Bridegan’s death and confessed to being paid by Fernandez-Saldana for the hit.

Shanna Gardner’s parents are billionaires! They started an online business for craft supplies, etc. years ago. As soon as Jared was murdered her parents bought her a multimillion dollar home in Washington State. Her parents are Mormons and live in Utah. Seems like every month, we hear about another Mormon being charged for murder!!

Jose Baez only really got celebrity status from Casey Anthony. He's pretty much lost everything else. He's got a celebrity lawyer paycheck, but his results are hit and miss. Maybe because some of the people he represents truly are guilty. He didn't get Weinstein off. A lot of the people who've hired him only got like reduced sentences because they had minimal impact in the crime. This lady is going DOWN!

Yes the decision in Florida is made by the Dept of Corrections based upon not only the nature of charges but upon an inmate's behavior, whether considered a flight risk or danger to others. Both face the DP if convicted however in Shanna's case her high profile attorney Jose Baez (who rep'd Casey Anthony) asked the judge's permission for her to appear out of the standard issue jumpsuit and shackles. What affects the outcome of a trial would be rather how a defendant appears when in front of the jury.

Here comes a not guilty verdict. Another murderer who will get off. This defense attorney is one of the best in the world. How was she able to afford an attorney like that. Jose Baez doesn't lose many murder cases.

What is this world coming to? I am a True Crimes Channel but cases like this still baffles me.
I'm 58 years old and every single time I turn on the news on TH-cam there are murders going on either with a spouse children coworkers elderly neighbors I am baffled myself growing up as a kid in the 70s everybody was so nice I don't remember ever hearing but maybe three stories in my life of people getting murdered when I was a kid I mean obviously we didn't have the Internet where we have immediate access to it but I just remember everybody happy and getting along I always had respect for my elders. I follow a few different true crime channels I'll check yours out.
