Absolutely love this build. I made one little change which was putting lightning flood in place of mages wrath cause I'm too lazy to worry about execute and MOAR LIGHTNING! I do want to try this build out with a medium set like Storm Master with 1 light 1 heavy just slow going getting the full Storm Master set.
Love this build. I usually swap wrath and ward for tount and elemental drain and que vet pledges as tank.. Tanked 1st two bosses in VAA and 1st boss in VHR without any problem (tanks was really bad, public group). Crazy how good build is for any content. Using similar build on NB, even more dps, almost same but no burst heal like crit serge from sorcer. And no stupid pet, I hate that flying rat
I'm a new player, just finished Cadwell's Silver and Gold not sure what my Mages' Guild level is, (will have to check). Getting stomped in dungeons. Going to respec my skills(i have a token to do this). This all looks great, i appreciate all the work you put into this.

Lmao I’ve been playing since beta and I couldn’t break over 65k dps. Average dps has gotta be 10k-15k based on my years of pugging. I hit 75k dps on this build with a few tweaks. I really hope ZoS stick with making high dps attainable for everyone. It’s good for the overall health of the game. I don’t understand the push back from the “high end” players, you’ve still got to be an absolute demon to push out 90-100k dps.
Agreed. I try n empathize with the "elite" yr talking about reasoning this game and "must link parse/clear" is probably their main experience at feeling exceptional and/or popular in life which is kinda sad. Sad only cuz the "elites" yr talking about clearly arent vibing the pay it forward the more the merrier kinda thing. At the end of the day i wish them happiness
@@psychoshikhar idk what to tweak but keeping track of your CP, armor type, mundus, skill & attribute points, etc will help you tons. I went from like 15-30 k to an easy 50-70k just watching how I built my toon and lined things up. You'll get there no problem. CP is kinda major but you can build toons to push exp and get there faster but it won't be over night.

I run all my tests on the 3M dummy, noble duelist outperforms storm master almost every time. Plus I hear the storm master buff is going all the way down to 5 seconds from 20.
I don't know why people pump anything other than Noble Duelist... except that many are afraid of getting inside, or many fights are terrible for dps that need to get inside. In those fights, yes, run something else, but otherwise, put your girl panties on and run Noble Duelist.
Training my Guild around so much of the content I may be a noob but I am far from Ignorant and Innocent More Like an ubernoob with an Army of Peasants and prisoners because in my guild everyone starts off as a Prisoner and becomes a Peasant! After many milestones I can now safely destroy 3 enemy players while they try to gank me and Im not equipped with the gear yet! From level 26 to 41 pvp battlegrounds is me slapp g 1v3s all day unless a fourth player approaches then I just pop my second bar and run with Dampen Magic stacked with Bound Aegis and Hardened Ward as well as crit surge absolutely insane when running full Light armor and just gives me about 134% Of Health just on my Ward when I add defensive rune to the equasion (60 seconds of defensive rune of an instant unblockable stun) I can escape whole enemy teams after a bit of practice of course with a relic. Love this build but I learned of this as a first build and had to work hard to level up many of the skill tress to even gain access to the skills. You single handedly made me a beast of a player even as a noob love having some new friends that can train me into a better player but ty you are the real sensei here! Wondering why you didn't mention Dampen Magic bit after seeing most of the video I understand and Im glad I didnt ask that one Ring will change everything about the sorc build that is by far the viggest difference from my build to this one aside from the crit stats. But Im working hard to get the gear at least purple gear to start off.
been enjoying the easy sorc for a few years now and even more since the one ring was introduced, iv noticed on quite a few 1 bar heavy attack builds using lightning staff the enchants are usually shock or poison or on rare occasions flams but nobody seems to use the berserker enchant anymore is there a reason for this? i woulda thought that a 5 second weapon and spell damage buff would be better than a single hit on a single target every 5 seconds or am i missing something?
Im interested in trying this because im definitely casual and a bit lazy with eso. I wonder if hes going to update this build with future game updates like he does with easy sorc

You're not using infallible aether for minor slayer, your using it for 5 piece bonus (better heavy attacks). While there might be some overlap, infallible aether is one of best sets for heavy attacks, which is why we use it.
Obviously will need testing, but I am nervous about this build with update 39. I really hope the staff changes don’t go through or are seriously modified during the PTS cycle.
So much information but missing all glyph info with the names and what not I wish you put them in more detail as like the names of each glyph not just what is does
Doesn't affect it. 99.999999999999999% of situations you won't notice it The only thing you will notice is minor number differences on the dummy which again, is MINIMAL. We were using empower for the easy sorc when it was 40%. Being 70% now instead of 80% is literally nothing. It's only 10% reduction to that bonus not 10% dps loss overall. You at MOST are looking at about 2-3% You won't notice it in content at all. Bare in mind also if you had 80% and didnt crit but had 70% and DID crit, you did more with the reduction than you did with the higher amount... Basically you are flipping a coin with crits. 99.9% of the time you won't see a difference. :)
I switched from 2bar to one bar heavy attack and my dps jumped from avg 20k to 40k and i still am far from optimal gear. Had to farm oakensoul though. But it's a nice change
Is the Sergeant thing where you get the stack before finishing the heavy attack even a bug? The tooltip doesn't say anything about a fully charged heavy attack unlike Infallible Aether which does mention a fully charged heavy attack.
The problem with this build for soloing vet dungeons for example is the terrible penetration, so I recommend elemental susceptibility over mages wrath, do not need a execute
@Chelsea Stokar Is mages wrath considered an execute? I thought it was. And what about soloing, wouldn't a pen debuff be necessary without using lovers mundus. Need to maintain good crit for the self heals from surge. That's why I'm using thief mundus. And my race is Dark Elf, don't matter too much but does give me some extra spell damage/wep.
Can a 1 bar heavy attack build actually keep up with the 2 bar HA build, purely from a DPS standpoint? Or does a 2 bar build, if played properly, do more damage after all? And how big is the difference in damage?
I tested both Moon Acolyte and Order's Wrath and honestly found that they perform similarly... I'm quite a new player, so I may be overlooking something, tho
Do you have any advice for someone starting over, 100%? My PS4 died, and I lost all dlc, all sets, etc, and I decided to start over on Xbox and I'm feeling really overwhelmed. I have no characters or sets, or cp so I hit like a wet noodle 😂 I don't even know where to start. Any suggestions ?
If you want to get back to where you were (not enjoy early game), I'd get to cp160 as quickly as possible (grind dolmens, do daily random dungeons, get skyshards, etc). Until you do that, very little point in grinding for sets. As far as dlc goes, you don't need any dlc to get a descent build (depending on the build, some dlc sets are really good, but there are lots of free substitutes that are still really good).

Yes two options take the ring off for that 1 fight mechanic or group can stack shields and heals and survive it that's the change that was done. You absolutely can use it but group needs to stack shields and heals, barring that I have ran to the outer edge with overload to avoid the group
Very much so. I do around 92k on the trial dummy with it on console. For an entry level build its amazing. On a real dungeon or trial you damage goes up. So yeah its both viable and relevant
just farm the wayrest sewers 1 (easy to solo) i ran it both on normal and veteran. opening chests and the big bosses gave me the drops i needed. took me a long time to get the lightning staff lol
it is but there are situations it really isnt, the stun is great for solo but if you are in a trial or vet HM dungeon the familiar actually becomes a hinderance imo, the 4th pulse stuns, as yu know, which means the tank can not taunt or pull the enemies affected into a stack, and they seem to chase random people when they come out of stun. so use the matriarch and leave the familiar off imo and replace it with dearic prey or a ranged interupt
@@jjwardyjj Staves count as two pieces. They have done for 4 years. Something else is wrong with your setup, OR you are on the wrong bar. It only counts while on the bar that is holding it.
Yep. I PROMISE you, if you have the chest, two jewelry, and staff as Sergeant's Mail, you WILL have all 5 pieces. Staves and other 2-handed weapons have counted as two pieces since Summerset. If you don't see that you have all five pieces, you ARE missing something.
Weapon, two jewelry, and chest are Seargents. Other ring is Oakensoul. That only leaves five more slots, all on the body, which are Infal. Which he does mention, BTW.
Wow, have not been a fan of heavy attack builds. First BG with Orders/Sergeant slightly modified skills : 17 kills. Wow. Thanks.. Headed for Maelstrom next.
I found my 1 bar warden to be easier for Vateshran and Maelstrom. That bear is a single target champ. 274k in vateshran and 550k in maelstrom. Need to run again, I found I can bypass many of the mechanics for the final boss in vateshran
Depends on what you mean. I do around 2-3k less than I would if I was a high elf BUT I have higher resistances (read: survivability) and sustain…although in most circumstances sustain isn’t an issue in this build unless you find yourself in a situation where you need to spam shields without being able to heavy attack (like in vCR during “barswap” mech). Of course, 2-3k isn’t anything to write home about, so in real terms - yes. Just as good.
I use this build as a Breton and get nearly the exact same numbers as Xynode. I'm even using the crafted acolyte of the moon set. cant get infallible hood anymore, cant find anyone to run crag trials
If you feel you need more pen, you can always use the Lover mundus and sharpened trait. However, your crit chance will go down, meaning your head will go down. I don’t mess with the build except in vMA and vVH, where I change the mundus but leave the trait alone. Even then, I’ll often forget to change the mundus and I barely notice it, so the pen as it sits quite honestly is perfectly fine.

May I recommend Noble Duelist in lieu of Aether for those who don't do trials. It outperforms Storm Master and I've put both through VMa and VVa.

Not for sure but perhaps because you get the berserk out of the OS

Minor slayer is also redundant with oakensoul..so im not sure

No, it is not, and just use 2 pets elemental blockade and prey with either ele sus / crit surge or the shield, imho
It definitely is. Xy addressed the oakensoul changes in a video. You just have to use your damage shields.

They have done for 4 years. Something else is wrong with your setup, OR you are on the wrong bar.
It only counts while on the bar that is holding it.

I PROMISE you, if you have the chest, two jewelry, and staff as Sergeant's Mail, you WILL have all 5 pieces. Staves and other 2-handed weapons have counted as two pieces since Summerset. If you don't see that you have all five pieces, you ARE missing something.
And sadly, I still suck too much to get through VMA with it

Weapon, two jewelry, and chest are Seargents. Other ring is Oakensoul. That only leaves five more slots, all on the body, which are Infal. Which he does mention, BTW.

I found my 1 bar warden to be easier for Vateshran and Maelstrom. That bear is a single target champ.
274k in vateshran and 550k in maelstrom. Need to run again, I found I can bypass many of the mechanics for the final boss in vateshran

Depends on what you mean.
I do around 2-3k less than I would if I was a high elf BUT I have higher resistances (read: survivability) and sustain…although in most circumstances sustain isn’t an issue in this build unless you find yourself in a situation where you need to spam shields without being able to heavy attack (like in vCR during “barswap” mech).
Of course, 2-3k isn’t anything to write home about, so in real terms - yes. Just as good.
I use this build as a Breton and get nearly the exact same numbers as Xynode. I'm even using the crafted acolyte of the moon set. cant get infallible hood anymore, cant find anyone to run crag trials

If you feel you need more pen, you can always use the Lover mundus and sharpened trait. However, your crit chance will go down, meaning your head will go down.
I don’t mess with the build except in vMA and vVH, where I change the mundus but leave the trait alone. Even then, I’ll often forget to change the mundus and I barely notice it, so the pen as it sits quite honestly is perfectly fine.
It's not broken its nessasery because getting sed ultimate is a pain in the ass 😂
