As a templar main would you recommend magica or stamina for a tank/healer, I wanna be a really supportive group character. Also PRAISE THE SUN!!!!! Was my first darksouls build like a decade ago, may solaire be remembered for all eternity ❤
@MadRabbitTraining most, if not all of the templar's best skills are magicka costing, so if you are going to be a healer DEFINETLY go magicka. I actually have a templar tank of my own and while this might sound a bit contradictory to what I just said, I'd go stamina because a lot of the tank skills you need you have to outsource a bit since templars lack a lot of utility skills other tank classes have built in. I go sword and board with an ice staff back bar tho just so I can heavy attack and get magicka back to cast my class skills when I need. Hope this helps 🙏
Thanks for explaining this man! I just got back to this game since the pandemic 3 years ago. I missed this game and when I logged in, I found all my skills gone and perks reset. So I’m madly confused as a beginner again. I’m currently at 268 veteran level on my Templar when logging in. And also really surprised to see everyone in the 2000+ vet range lol.
same, though i had to spend the last 2 days doing tech support emails back and forth for my launcher to work. im back after not playing since 2018, and could have sworn my character was a dual weilding/archer nightblade argonian, apparently im getting mixed up with my character from the original beta in 2014. i was a bit suprised when i just logged in and saw im a level 47 argonian templar with 2handed/archer, all skillpoints reset. i dont even remember playing as a templar, let alone what skills i had. honestly after seeing all my skills reset, i really wish i could change class and swap to a dragonknight, but apparently class is literally the only thing you cant change...
Thanks for the detailed video. In times of hybridization it's nice to see genuine class skills. Should become more relevant again to strengthen class identities.
Tip for Jesus Beam.. it is categorized as DoT. Flame Staff buffs will help this skill. Also pretty niche, but the Runecarver set damage hits on every 3rd tick of a DoT. Meaning the last tick of Jesus Beam has the added fire damage every time.
yes, a channeled ability will get a buff from a flame staff that only buffs dots and not get the buff from the lightning staff as it should... i see the logic here 💅
@@demoncat13 have you tried it with lightning though? I don’t know if staff buffs are mutually exclusive. It could very well be classified as direct damage as well.
@@demoncat13 flame staffs buff dot damage (beam) and status effect damage. Lightning staffs increase channeled abilities (beam) and direct damage. So lightning staff is better since it buffs directs damage also
My Temp uses Winter's Respite and Mad Tinkerer armors, plus Oakensoul. I still get a kick out of the fabricant produced by the Mad Tinkerer set knocking monsters up in the air to land flat on their back.
I run a magplar tank/healer myself and it's served me well. I definitely suggest getting Silver Leash from the Fighter's Guild for a pull taunt though.
I really want to make this character but i dont know how to lvl up fast and I dont want to play alone. I dont know anything about crafting and i wpuld really appereciate If i get a friend who knows about these things and helps me out
@janilahteenmaki334 For solo leveling heading to Alik’r Desert and doing dolmen runs is a pretty effective way to level. Although it does get boring. You can just ask for an invite when you get there to boost xp. Save your exp scrolls and save them for dungeons and dolmen runs.
My wife is looking for a solo templar build, what would you recommend ? we are both new players more or less, I have mostly only done crafting hehe and unlocked most sets that I can craft. She would love using the fire staff and going magicka. Any tips? what should I craft or she hunt for gear wise etc etc PS she wants to start going for a one bar build.

Ty for your efforts Xynode! Never really gave the Templar a chance since I started playing ESO again after years. Definetely gonna try it out! :)

Loving these class guides, I’ve been playing all classes for about 3 years am I’ve still learnt shit in this video 😂
It’s really fun a magical knight

Thank you!! I have no idea how to play this class!
Great video! Very informative, keep up the great work!
Amazing video to help new player
Can you mix and match skills from different lines?
You can put any class skills in any order and combination as you want in your ability bar
Hey mate! Are you gonna update your off-balance build for U40?
So i could be a magplar tank/healer? Im not trying to make a perfect agro tank but one that also heals and buffs
I run a magplar tank/healer myself and it's served me well. I definitely suggest getting Silver Leash from the Fighter's Guild for a pull taunt though.
Hybrid Imperial Templar with the cost reduction on skills would be nuts
just building that, what do you mean by hybrid? one handed tank sort of thing?
@@ab-ke6ti eh, everything is hybrid now. I probably didn't need to say it in my comment. Lol Just means using both stam & mag abilities
@@PsykoSockPuppet0510 ah, appreciate it mate
Im curious if each mor0h has a unique animation? Or does only specific ones change? Thanks for the video. Great info, and very articulate as usual.
Only certain ones change
Boba Fett! Thanks for the video!

Templar Nova Ultimate.. think... Spirit Bomb from Dragon Ball Z

Man this game is dope I love it but I HATE how the character models look 😞
after new upgrade all speed weapons become undesirable.
Besus Jeam
Beer and cake in the chat
Jabbs animation is cringe
I do miss the old animation, where it looked like actual rays of light, not an actual spear
Great video! Very informative, keep up the great work!
