@cristanoisthebest 3/32 didn't work for mine but found one at the bottom of the toolbox after about giving up. It is, for mine at least, bigger than a 3/32 but smaller than a 1/8 ( not labeled but it's also bigger than a 2.5 and slightly smaller than a 3).
Hello Hank, your video was very helpful, i needed the info on dusassembly. Now to reassemble. One note, you're knowledge takes you through it very quick. I was still working on the spark plug. Lol some times being a visual leaner, i need a slower presentation, or two more beers. Thank You !!
Makes you wonder why people’s cars break quick. If they don’t even know about changing fluids, why would they even know what correct fuel to use on a weed eater.
Awesome video, My customer brought in 2 Ws2200 Craftsman weed eaters they look brand new , 2019 &2020 Yr model. Both look like what you have there , There both clean as a whistle , That was my first response was straight gas , But there very versed on oil mix 50.1 . I just assumed it was cheap China made junk . Used parts scrap pile ,They went out and bought a stihl Fs56rc Model. Keep up the good work .
Pre mixed ethanol free fuel may be more expensive than mixing your own fuel but for an occasional use home owner it takes all the guess work out of it. Not a bad choice 🤔
Great tear down RTFM consumers , well I guess I am not a normal consumer. Get a 1 gallon container just for mixed fuel . Get the 2 cycle oil that is 1 bottle of oil to 1 gallon of gas. Go get some Non ethanol pump 1 gallon of fuel to mix in Or just buy the pre-mixed 2 cycle fuel
if its really that hard for you to mix it properly you can simply get a 4 stroke.. But if mixing some oil into gas is that hard for you i don't think you'd be able to upkeep the occasional oil changes...
I've been using that premix stuff that you measure in the container and mix into a gallon. After about three years with no issue, it seized what seemed like out of nowhere. This could be from the mixture as I don't see anything else wrong with it. 🤷
@@qxpxv The string comes out about a couple of inches and completely locks. I've gotten to the clutch, just now, and while I can spin the motor with a wrench using a lot of force (after using carb cleaner and wd40 in spark chamber) it only goes about 180 (edit: 90) and back before getting stuck. If I keep working it back and forth I thought it would help as it has gone in a full circle but still seems to be at square 1. I'm thinking either something is broken inside, stopping the full turn as it shouldn't be that hard to get a full revolution? 🤔
@@ehill1536 Sorry, never noticed you replied. Any updates? Sounds like a catastrophic engine failure unfortunately. What is this motor on? Some equipment has a lock to prevent you from starting the engine for safety concerns like most boat engines for example. If i was you i'd just pop the head off and look at the internals. Very easy on a 2 stroke because theres no camshafts or valves.
Great tear down. Yep that one is toast for sure. Thanks for the info and video.
How did you loosen the screw at the 3:07 time frame?
Still no answer?
There is a small hexagon screw in the middle of it
Use a hexagon 3/32

You need a T-20 screwdriver

4 score and 7 yards ago I bet that weed eater was a fine machine

There is no guess work. You put your tiny oil bottle in shake it up and run it
How do you get the drive shards cord out the handle you took of in beginning I have the medal frame with spring
How did you remover the silver piece that sits on top of pull string. What tool did u use
Do you know where I can find a head of the cylinder? I need to rebuild mine
Got one in my moms living room tearing it apart 😂 Next up maybe a cr125 or something
Looking for the sponge for the troy wacker
What do I need to do if the clutch cover just spins and w6n
Won't come off the shaft
Some people are just plain lazy. "Aw, why do I have to mix my gas? I don't wanna! Wah wah wah!" 🤣
Yup pretty much
You never take the springs off the clutch it has a spot to put a flat screwdriver and tap it
The clutch failed. I didn’t have to remove them.
Great tear down

The 4 stroke versions do

Who knows. You’d have to ask the person I got this from.

Right away, I knew, after you showed the cylinder block by the sparkplug.
I noticed how clean it was.
They ran straight gas. How awful
my main goal is to take this apart take the engine (do this on two) and make a bike made with them
I use premix, simple.
Your money.
@@hanksgarage_ I'm also not doing a very large yard, if that were the case mixing would make more sense
Consumers suck
