Hey is Isaac, just have some quick thoughts and questions reguarding the video and future content. Will you be doing only electrical vehicles from now due to Biden signing the new green deal? Also are you aware that the reflective platinum tailgate causes 1 of the 1,000,000 annual badger deaths a year due to its highly reflective nature blinding the animal while it crosses the street. Lastly do you think that Ford will integrate Amazon Alexa into the side mirrors. I think it would be handy to have an Alexa in the mirror to give Ford that edge they need to beat GMC trucks since they copied their lighting.

Yes, those rear taillights are strikingly similar! Makes me think this is more of an evolutionary design rather than a revolutionary new design.
Autobody tech here. AKA someone who is literally paid to notice every little minor detail.
I used to be confused as to why Ford basically recycled the 12th-gen taillights, but then I figured out why they did it. When you look at the truck from the side-view the triangular shape of the taillights and headlights are symmetrical, just like they are on the 13th-gen trucks albeit in a different shape. I'm guessing Ford designed the headlights first and then, keeping the theme from the 13th-gen, made the taillights to match. The fact that they looked just like the 12th-gen taillights was an unintended coincidence.
That's my best guess.
The silver boring rear name plate also .looks like the old one on the 2011-2014

This truck is so nice; even better in person ... went to the local dealer last weekend. I’m going to disagree w/ some & say that this truck is worth the price for what you get. There are BMWs & Porsches that cost more & deliver pathetic standard features.

It must be one heck of a truck if you like it more than the Ram. They did drop the ball on that rear center arm rest, though. Seriously, who puts cup holders in the middle of an armrest? Other than that, there's not one thing wrong with that truck. Great review. I want one.
I really was impressed! The Ram is also good, I think between a Raptor and a TRX I’d still take the TRX, but luxury wise it just inches out the Ram for me. I’d still be incredibly grateful to own a Ram!

Just bought the new 2021 f-150 4x4 super cab sxt with exact same 3.5 twin turbo ecoboost engine and paid $45,800 out the door.
$45k is still a lot for an STX, it's a great truck don't get me wrong, but I think it should be more in the $35-$40k range and an XLT should be $45+
@@AlphaShark thats the cheapest I found in area. Its fully loaded except leather seating. Tru car has it valued at $46k to $47,500.

Man, that truck is sweet! I just don't get how anyone can afford this? At 1.9% & 60 mths the payment would be $1,259. Also, no dual exhaust at that price? Great review, as always!
That is crazy! I don't know how anyone could afford it either. I exclusively see older white guys driving these or Ram Limited's or Denali's. I imagine they're the only ones right now with money because they used a quarter of their retirement money on a truck.
Well speaking for myself, I am 59, worked hard all my life. My (new) house and property are paid for and owe nothing on cards. I wanted a vehicle that I wanted, no compromises and plan on keeping it for 10-15 years. It will be paid off before retirement and by that time I will have everything paid for and all will be newer so I don’t expect large maintenance costs. So yea I spoiled my self with the hybrid limited but I can so why not? Just a note to you younger guys and gals, older people have worked hard and long to get where they are your time will come, I would trade your youth for my truck any time! Lol

But unfortunately it probably won’t be until I’m your age that I’ll be able to afford a truck as nice as this. I guess I just wish they were slightly less expensive. I love my Tacoma so much, I wouldn’t trade it for now because it’s so new and it works great. But I do daydream sometimes about having the money for something like this, but barely anybody my age or even in their 30’s will be able to afford this trim.

Lol but none of us know how long we have here so don’t go out wishing “If only I had done....” if there is something you really want in life figure out a way to make it a reality and find your happiness in yourself and your choices and keep modifying them as you change and don’t let anyone’s opinions or jealousy’s dissuade you from following your heart.

Good catch! I assumed they were but I could not find the button in the menu, physical button or on the window sticker. I’d rather miss a feature than mention one that actually isn’t included.

Nah, TH-cam is my only social media nowadays. I deleted Snap, IG, Facebook. I just found myself endlessly scrolling on there. And with my addictive personality, I wasn't getting anything done and I realized I'd rather hang with people in real life. Lol so I just text and TH-cam now.

Ram has better quality materials. I still see lots of plastic inside that ford.
I’d say they’re pretty close from reviewing both. I’m hoping later in the summer to do this vs. Ram Limited vs. Denali. I’ve been talking with the dealers about it, so I can do a more direct comparison. Butttt I’d say material quality is about the same from what I recall since I obviously don’t daily drive either.
Lol it’s tough for you to say that if you haven’t actually spent time with both. I have and if you are comparing apples to apples, top of the line with both trucks, they are both great as far as materials used so it comes down to preference. I find the seats far more comfortable over a long drive in the Ford, add massage that ram doesent have and the 7.2kw pro power on board (power my Rv) and the better towing features and better gas mileage when not towing (hybrid) for me, and a much better history of reliability than Ram, Ford was the clear winner. Now if your a Ram fan boy just trolling, ok I understand, The high end Ram has a great interior as well and as they say, different strokes for different folks.

I guess I can't fight a channel called "Ram king of trucks" I definitely think the interior on the Ram's is high quality! I've reviewed 2 of the new ones. I personally think Ford might just inch out the Ram in some aspects. I do think the Ram's 12" inch screen is top of the line, but this F-150 one is really really nice too. And I love the foldable center console, I'd use that a ton. I think Ram is lightyears above GMC and Chevy, but Ford is giving it a run for it's money for sure.

@@66skate Actually the Ram TRX won MotorTrends truck of the year. Which is generally one of the higher rated awards. So the free-press might've rated the F-150, butttttt Ram still won too! I think they're both great trucks.

@@lastwhtknight3002 If too much tech is what you're worried about you won't like the new F-150 as it has the edge over the RAM in this regard. The RAM doesn't even offer a fully-digital gauge-cluster like the Ford does. Granted, I think the RAM interior looks nicer, but there's no doubt that the F-150 has more tech and features.
Dude GMC has been copying every successful design from other companies, this design was brought to market many years before GMc did this , if you do auto videos you should know this stuff
Thanks for your comment, though I do know my stuff 😄 The 2019 GMC Sierra had the LED headlight signature design out before the current 2021 Ford F-150. Which would stand to reason the 2019 GMC was being designed previous to the F-150. I would hope I don't need to give you a lesson on how LED DTRL's have only come to fruition in the last 10 years. Making the GMC first with its LED design. Game, Set, Match.
@@AlphaShark the C shape design that GMc adopted as theirs has been the key design point for the fords f150 and more noticeable in the heavy duty line up 250 350 , a design that was brought as a concept back in 2013 , the put in to production in 2015 , so yes gmc said if can't beat them join them ...lol
@@jtjtrs8806 See what I’m saying is GMC was the FIRST to have a C shaped white LED designed headlight to market amongst full-size pickup trucks. That is true and undisputed, not fighting the shape of the headlight, I’m saying the LED itself. Then Ford did a near identical LED running light design 2 years later. I am not biased to either brand! Haha I’m not even a GMC guy, but I know what I’m talking about.
