Looks like some kind of Tyranid Biomorph's hitched a ride on your crouching knight, between the body and left arm! The kitbashes are awesome, when I eventually get my own box of knights I'll be coming back to this video for inspiration!!!
My own simple litbash was adding a carapace heavy stubber to a thermal cannon for more brrt to replicate the one at 28mm scale, which, unlike the smaller one, has a stubber as part of the cannon.

Great knight conversions. I'm currently trying to recreate the cover from the Renegade box game as a small scale battle diorama. It is on hold until epic scale autocannons that would work seamlessly as the carapace weapon are released. Also, on the knight release date, it was 10 years ago, not 12. Sorry to nitpick!
Also really great scale downs! To answer the question at the end, when I got into titanicus I reposed the warhound legs with lots of cutting at joints, but I havent delved into LI. Still working on my normal scale heresy army
