    hey man was just wondering when should surfactant be used, heard u say you didn’t use it in the house wash, some guys don’t even use it at all from what i’ve been hearing

      Hey man! Appreciate the comment. For me I’ll use surfactant when I’m washing stucco houses or roof washes. You’ll want to use surfactant mainly for your SH chemical to stick to the surfaces more rather than slip off. If I’m doing a vinyl home or hardy board, I won’t use surfactant since it takes more time to rinse and it’s not needed as much as with stucco you want the SH to stick more to the surface. Same with roofs you want to use a good amount of surfactant so your SH doesn’t easily fall down the roof and on to the grass or bushes.
      I used to use surfactant on everything because it masks the smell, but over time you get used to it and I haven’t had any client complain about the smell of SH, many clients like it because it’s a clean smell and they know their house is getting clean

    When you’re soft washing a house with an x jet and you use a 4 to 1 ratio of water and SH in a 5 gallon bucket, how often would you have to refill the bucket until the house is covered? In short, how many gallons total of SH should I have handy on a soft wash job?

      @lukeraglin  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It depends on how big the house is. I always have a 15 gallon tank full when I start the day for any house wash. If you’re doing a stucco or brick house, you’ll use more SH rather than a vinyl or hardy board house. I’ve done some vinyl houses with 2-3 gallons SH, and some stucco houses I’ve used all 15 gallons. If you’re doing any house between 1,000-2,000 sq ft, then 5-8 gallons should be plenty depending on material of home

    What do you charge for window cleaning. 1st time and recurring?

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I charge between $10-$12 for exterior only. Then $16-$20 for inside and outside. All depends on difficulty of reach and what they want done. Reoccurring is usually maybe 20% off the first time cleaning price

    what SH percent are u running? and are u premixing it in that 15 gallom tank?

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      About a 1% mix and I have straight 12.5% in my tank, my injector dilutes it to around a 1

    Is it best to clean the trash bins in the street or near end of driveway or do you just rinse the driveway after?

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If I have space to do it on the street then I prefer the street, some houses have such small streets to where I have to do it on the driveway. But always rinse the driveway after

    What do you charge for trash bin

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      For a first time clean for 2 bins I’m usually at $55, the monthly for 2 bins I’m at $30 and quarterly for $45. I used to charge more like $75 for 2 bins for a 1st time clean but wasn’t getting many bites, so $55 is that sweet spot

      @440pressurewashing nope just one with all my services. I don’t really advertise bin cleaning, I get many of my leads through Google calls. I do advertise more for house washing and window cleaning though
