I've shot videos with my Insta360 ONE X2 for many Ski trips, ATV, white water Rafting, even car related video. Friends and family has always been impressed with the videos i get from my Insta360. Unfortunately, I can't use my ONE X2 anymore because i dropped it and the lens is all scratched up =[. Same thing happened to my original ONE X.

They should address the gap in the long recordings once and for all!! Why does insta360 thinks that it is acceptable to have this problem in all of its 360 cameras??

Honestly it doesn't look nice. The shutter-speed is all over the place, it looks all blurry, then stuttery. :\

Im happy that this channel has grown so much, but i also miss the days where you review inexpensive stuff, like when you do the complete cinematic gear under 1000 ,
The best camera is the one that you have right now :) let's put it this way - LeBron James could defeat anybody with broken sneakers and a basketball with poor grip. It's not the nice clothes, headbands, shorts, shoes, etc. that make him a good player, its his actual skill.
Keep working on your skills and the equipment will come over time!!

I think I'll wait another 3 years for them to finally make a 10-bit version.....
Its not about 3 years ,Dji has the tech they done it in 2018
Problem is size and heat disapation it will over heat in minuts!
There is reason why Go Pro dint do it.
The last sony action cam had 10 bit but it didn't went well because of the battery.
Meh, I'm ok without 10-bit on an action. It's overkill IMO.

I love Gene strolling up to Insta360 owners with older devices and being like "Hey look at this wink wink".
That being said, that screen is huge compared to the X2.
I would love to see a comparison video between this one and the 1 inch sensor
What I like to do with my x360 is export all the video pointing in different directions. It’s a lot of post processing work I know. But then in video editing I use the footage like a multicam shoot. I zoom in just enough so it doesn’t look like 360 shot.

I did that for my sister in laws bridal shower. just stuck it on the middle of the table and then made 6 separate clips and did a multicam in resolve. it's not even as much work as you might think. definitely try it!

I was supposed to buy the One x2 last month but my cats were hospitalized and I ended up not buying it. Good thing that I didn't buy it last month. It would have been a pain if I did and the X3 got launched after just one month of getting it.

What is laptop specifications required to edit in the software?, I used x2 but not able to edit footages as they out of sync with audio and Flickrs every 2 5o 3 seconds, used same laptop to edit samsung gear360 footages without any issues

I've been rocking the GoPro Max for awhile now and I think I might finally make the switch. I also have the DJI Wireless Mics so that's also a plus to get that quality audio incorporated with the X3. Good stuff! 🤙🏻
Yup, stopped watching as soon as they said 5.7k. Garbage resolution. Despite the BIGGEST COMPLAINT from us active users wanting higher resolution.
You know I responded very disappointingly on your other videos as did hundreds of others. This x3 is more novelty related, dark video isn’t impressive… sad they refuse to listen to consumers that own their stuff.
When you edit the video goes right to 1080p and this in 2022? Nope!
They are blind to consumer requests and complaints. A bigger screen? Who cares, the other worked fine. Batteries can’t be interchangeable? Nope… oh wow, bigger sensor… great….. and same ole resolution.
And the issue is you can see the graininess in your room with low light, which the bigger center is supposed to help. Where we need it, which is in a much darker circumstance. This isn’t going to help at all. Still going to be grainy. .
Way to fail us again insta360. 😟

Nah, pretty meh update for me at least.
- No 6k recording (well at least we have that on the 1-inch) but wouldnt be awesome if we can have one?
- No 10-bit recording
- No higher fps recording
- No codec recording option
- No ProRes option in mobile app
- mounting (for audio/housing rig) accessories are expensive vs. DIY housing like SmallRig or Ulanzi
Pros
- $20 increase from the X2 is cool, but pretty much the reason why the specs are meh

I have ONE X2 still have no idea how to record a good quality sound without a mess. So X3 again we can't attach easy mic etc not messing up with stitching line and get an easy good quality sound?
Ill give this a big big negative until they come up with a solution on this to connect a wireless mic or Bluetooth mic even its in ur pocket and no to attach everything like a crap to cameras a d keep holding it in hands all the time to break it some time 🙄

I can't believe this device does LOG but my GH5 needs a £80 "dlc" pack just for me to unlock LOG ... smh
..two years ago all the rave was that the new X2 had a built-in round screen and so much easier to use than the original OneX that had none. Now, of course there's a new X3, so suddenly the X2's screen now is horrible and difficult to use and blah blah blah because now there's a bigger one. In the meantime, the image quality is exactly the same garbage. And two years later when there's an X4 with surely the shame shit image quality, it will be all the rave again because it's gonna have an even bigger and better screen and suddenly the X3's screen will be shit🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂😂😂 ..this is all hilarious

The camera is great but hate that it only works with Airpods to use as wireless mics. Why not just make it compatible with any Bluetooth earbuds/headphones?
Dude I got bit by a monkey at the monkey temple. I was taking pictures and had a tripod out and a baby monkey started trying to climb the tripod. I shooed it away with my foot, and mama did not like that at ALL. She came over and bit me right on the ankle - drew blood and everything! I was freaking out a little bit, but the medics there said that the monkeys are all healthy and tested regularly. Now I'm fine except occasionally I speak with a lisp and loose a few days of time 😜
Damn, the 30 minute recording gap does not makes this usable for filming a 2 person podcast.
I don't like Bullet Time. You end up with 360 degree slow motion view of yourself doing what looks similar to a fascist salute 😒 Perhaps they should release an Insta360 Bullet time hat with a little motor in it to spin the camera round
