That Insta360 was amazing! I can definitely can see the different type of shot we can capture with our FPV Drone. Great review and give us the great new features on this new 360 camera.
I've been slowly transitioning from premiere to resolve. First it was just coloring, now its audio, now its (almost) everything. Extremely powerful software and away with subscription based software. Can't wait for your video on it!
i gotta ask. Does Davinci have better scrubbing speed compared to horrible lagging that Premiere Pro has with any videos over 720p quality essentially? lol...(i mean yes better speced computer will give smoother scrubbing obviously but i heard that Premiere is excessively horrible with this)

Neat, I have always nagged at Insta360 for keeping the 5.7k in the One X2 and while the 1-inch 360 camera mod is a definite bump in resolution and low light performance, it still feel it feels lacking considering that it cost nearly twice as much as the One X2 for minor bump in resolution and image quality.
I feel like it's just a limitation of the tech, I have a One X and the same specs. I can't blame them for trying to remain relevant, but until then, my four year old One X and your two year old One X2 is essentially the same in terms of resolution.
One X 3 will be 8K with 1” sensor, but it probably be more expensive

they all are, i will have to wait a year or two to ever afford one, it kind of sucks being a broke loser because your always way behind, but at least by the time you can afford it they worked all the bugs out and stuff
I'm stunned. I've seen a lot 360 video that looks decent, but usually falls flat when it's edited down into unidirectional video, but this stands up to that use even.

Love the look of it, love being able to mount of wireless mic to it but I feel like it's not the hugest jump from my X2. I think I may wait one more generational upgrade before I trade out the X2. The X2 is still a very competent and amazing device.

They have got to turn down that baked-in threshold edge contrast sharpening, because high contrast edges flicker at speed like driving past a picket fence. I know it can be done, and still look clean, because I do it with my 1" G7XII. Other than that; nice. 👍

I think once 360 cameras can record at least 8k or 10k they will be great camera replacements. That may seem high but remember once you actually frame your shot your video is most likely 1080p because of the smaller frame. Well get there eventually!
Looking to do just that. My Nikon gear is on Ebay. Tired of lugging it around. I have the X3. Love it! Well I like it a lot. I want more of a "photography" than a "action" camera.

thank you so much for being a responsible dog owner, as a person who has went to kneel down on the sand to take a photo of my very first ever shark (they swim in the waves just in florida, i had no idea!) only to find a huge dog poop pile that i just put my knee in and smooshed all over me, it was very gross and very annoying

Yeahhhh. This new Insta looks sick and I use my X2 a ton for filming my kids. Might have to throw this in the cart. Really miss the Gene channel but glad you are focusing on your mental health and happiness.
There is also special mount for the rode wireless receiver on the ONE X2. It's called Ulanzi pt-20 and available in the Insta360 store. It comes with a cable that connects precisely to the USB-mic attachment. I have it since a few weeks and it works perfect.
Looks so good, probably time to upgrade from my Insta 360 ONE.....

Very cool. As long as the bit rate is way improved, it should be a winner. I could live without the fancy lens, and maybe even the 1” sensor, but shooting from a motorcycle in a very detail-filled (roadside trees and foliage) environment on my ONE X2 has been pretty frustrating due to blocky results from the insufficient bit rate (IMO).
Have to say, that's the first "consumer" level 360 cam that has good enough image quality to make me want it.

This is amazing. I don't need it now, but want it lol. I will wait for the generation where is is slimmed down into a compact box shape with hopefully cold shoe mounts integrated for mounting a rode wireless go II. Kudos for Leica glass, that is killer.

I leaving comments about stuff like you asked! I got a Soviet Helios 44-2 58mm f2 vintage lens for my canon m50 and I’m absolutely loving it! It works so well and looks really interesting. It was also really cheap for a lens. You should definitely check out some vintage lenses and stuff!

Definitely an improvement over the 1R (especially in low light) but the footage still looks oversharpened and not great at times.
Best part of the video is you involving so many other creatives.
