I still really love to see Rockwells stories about how he turned from "having tea with Helena" to "I take over everything and destroy everyone!". I mean, I really like his character. You can see how he go more and more insane and crazy, how he start to think even more he's better than anyone else and how he can use his talk as a weapon. He's a horrible person but he's a great villain and just have to love his attitude.
These stories are done so well, you could be a director. It's the fact that you go a step further and make the visuals along with the story. Thank you Neddy
I do love these series that you're doing Neddy, with Edmund Rockwell being voiced by David Tenant as in the actual game having this Voice Impressionist really does show the immersion. In scorched earth you can really see Edmund starting to get villainous and deranged with the artifacts and power. I really can't wait for the Abberation version
I love these! The lore of Ark is amazing, Marc Soskin's writing is brilliant, and you did a wonderful job bringing it to life. There are so many details, that each time I watch them, there is something new to notice. (For example, I love how even the Morellatops are looking at the Obelisk at 8:57.) The fancy camera angles, lighting, etc, really make it feel cinematic. I love Rockwell's character too. His writing style is just amusing to me for some reason. I think it's how it seems like everything that happens to him is a minor inconvenience or something to use to his advantage, despite all the dangerous situations he finds himself in. Another thing I've noticed is that both Helena and Rockwell say that they need to "make the best of it" in their first Scorched Earth note. I think this is just another way to compare the two characters. How they have similar interests/goals, but ultimately they both have different ways of "making the best" of their situation. have no idea if it was intentional or not, but I hope it was.

Absolutely amazing voice acting from Elliot, and superb camera shots mate! You really brought this whole note series to life in such a beautifully done way.
Alright two things before I get to the praise.. 1. Dang shirtless Rockwell is ripped for an old man! Looking good you Old Bean! 2. The guy who was in random scenes hedging the bushes with scissors had me dying laughing. Overall man just another absolutely fantastic job bringing these stories to life. Honestly this one might be my favorite to this point. Some really really good cinematic shots, great little bits of fun scenes to break from the seriousness of the story, and the scene where Timur jumps off the Wyvern was done perfectly! Can't wait for Helena next!
I've been very much looking forward to this. I've kept from reading the explorer notes because I like to learn the story through your telling. Looking forward to future videos!

Poor rockwell, i really loved him as a character and him being close friends with helena *my second favorite character* until he went crazy and eventually…evil

No one has mentioned the fact that by the time Edmund entered the scorched earth Ark he was already at least 70 years old, who knows how long he was on the island!
Came back to this to compare yours vs David Tennant’s official voice in these notes, and I must say I *Almost* prefer the fan made version over the official, David Tennant is really cool, but I just wished he sounded more lively like this project did, and his slow decent into madness before the exponential climb to insanity and godhood that made up Aberration
I was waiting for someone to say this! Comparing these voice impressions to Tennant’s, the fanmade ones were absolutely fantastic and puts the life and manic tones into Rockwell’s character.
@@IvyDrax Aye, like I said, the fan project made Rockwell feel alive and more like Rockwell’s ever so intrusive thoughts compared to listening to David straight read Rockwell’s notes as… well, Notes… I hope Mei Yin and Nerva gets treated much better His TV show counterpart looks very promising tho

Its so friggin cool that for this series alone there was build an entire Scorched Earth Ascension... saddly we never got the proper on official which really sucks. This was once again awesome. I dont know why but the Rockwell ones are my favorites so far.
