- Welcome to ARK: The Survival Stories! This is the third video, following Sir Edmund Rockwell! The Survival Stories directly follow the explorer notes of each of the survivors from ARK: Survival Evolved, as I seek to accurately show what happened to each of them. This video shows all of Sir Edmund Rockwell's notes on The Island, from 1-29.
If you have any criticisms, let me know! I need to know what mistakes I made so that I can improve in the future. Tell me what you think about this, because I'm super excited for creating more, and cannot wait to bring all the other characters to life, not just on The Island, but on Scorched Earth, and Aberration. We are not doing any maps past Aberration.

Rockwell found element dust on aberration and consumed it like cocaine and became an octopus
"I think grabbing someone by Argentinavis is barbaric" says the one who killed everyone on a ship trying to find a new planet
Dude was literally poisoning entire tribes even back on Scorched Earth
Suffice it to say, whatever the ark developers are making regarding Helena's story, yours will always be the original go to for me.
Well, these are not his stories. These are his visual and audio depictions of them, however.

This and the previous two episodes are easily the best ARK content I have ever seen. Absolutely incredible, enjoyable and immersive - I can not wait to see more (in time, when it's ready) ❤
Second best was the neebs gaming scorched earth series and after that in my opinion the upfromthedepths paleo ark series

The voice acting really sells how Rockwell just... started out as a stuffy if slightly skeevy researcher, but eventually let his lust for knowledge consume him to the point of madness.

Please tell me you’ll do Rockwell’s notes for the other maps as well! I absolutely adore this impression, and after Genesis 2’s emotional ending, this vid is one of the many comforts I confide in for the loss of our favorite Ark antagonist. Keep on rockin’ these vids y’all!

Loved how you did Helena’s and Mei-Yin’s stories and real hyped for the following stories. Real good job. Makes these characters really come to life.
This is the first time in 5 years of playing ARK that I've paid attention to the the explorer notes, amazing job, never knew the story was so interesting. Just finished watching the other 2 perspectives also.

He has the most interesting lore. From inquisitive and arrogant scientist to megalomaniac.

Gotta say, the voice of Rickwell sounds a LOT like David Tennant. Considering he's gonna be in the upcoming Ark animated series I think this fits.

Ned, amazing as always. I remember first discovering your channel whilst searching for explorer note videos, and watching your Helena video back before Mei-yin’s came out. You and everyone who works on these deserve the progress the channel has earned. The premiere got 870 viewers and 500 likes before it ended, that’s amazing! This is really great content. You really manage to bring the characters to life. It's actually inspired me to complete the achievement of locating all the explorer notes for once after thousands of hours in this game.

I am absolutely amazed at the content of this channel I cannot wait to see the others and what they have to offer but the matter what it’s gonna be a great story and great voice acting every part of this channel is great absolutely great
Rockwell is by far the most interesting character in ark
His selfishness is the the manisfestation of the changing fate of Ark, like he's the main character that became to be a solid Antagonist, no plot holes only utter commitment to do anything for his Ego, he wants to control everyone and everything even evolution for his own satisfaction.

There's four people on the Island who wrote the original Explorer Notes; Helena, Mei-yin, Rockwell and Nerva. After that, we go to Scorched Earth to follow the Explorer Notes over there. A few familiar faces, and some new ones.
This was a good chapter. How soon can we get to hear Nerva's story and prepare for Scorched Earth?
This series is honestly amazing, as someone who plays ark with friends pretty casually it’s astounding to see the way in which the survivor notes build a story. Great job with the series so far and I would love it if you continued to make this content!

I’m not entirely sure how I found this video, but I’m so glad I did. This was amazingly well done, you and your cohorts did an excellent job creating scenes to match the journal entries. And your narrator did an amazing job; I think he found the right tone for Rockwell’s slow decent from scientist to madness. I’m watching the other two videos in this series now. I am loving these videos. I have a couple of thousand hours in Ark and the lore has always intrigued me but to be honest I haven't gone out of my way to find most of it or really read through it all so your videos have given me a whole new sense of depth for the game. Thank you!

These are so full of life and wonderful story telling, from the background sets to the body actors, to that wonderful voice actor! I’m amazed more people aren’t subscribed to you! This is truly awesome. I was taking a bit of a break from Ark, but watching these make it IMPOSSIBLE to not want to play again. If only the real Ark experience was more like these videos. PLEASE make more of them! Do every explorer note on every map and I will gladly watch them all.
That was bloody brilliant! Voice acting was spot on, which, props to matching it to the canon voice actor XD This really showed Rockwell's initial steps into madness. Small steps in comparison to how he turns out, but they're what started him on the path. I cannot wait for more of this series, it's absolutely amazing! Love that you're giving the lore and characters of this game the spotlight they deserve.

Absolutely amazing! You did a very great job on this. I have been playing Ark for only about a year and stumbled across these while searching for info on different ark worlds. I watched the first two and find them just awesome. I hope that these continue as I am only on the third one.
