I love this different look in a granny square. You are very talented and thanks for sharing. I am looking forward to your video on how to join the squares.
I love these! Is this something that can be made into a "never ending" granny square? I'm expecting my first baby and would love to make her a blanket using this design.
Very beautiful! Will you be doing a series on how to connect these squares for an Afghan. I am so thankful that you are doing a wonderful job of sharing your knowledge.
I really love this! Can I ask a question as I'm not an experienced crocheter .... yet (but I am addicted!!). Why do you chain 3 at the beginning of a row to get up to treble height in some tutorials, but on this one you only chain 2? I'd be really interested to know if there is a special reason or is it personal preference? Thanks so much for really great tutorials - they are so clear and easy to follow. You are always my 'go to' if I'm not sure about anything. 👏 👏 👏
Thanks for replying Rebekah! I guess then, it depends on the project, tension etc. and it's a case of try it and see what suits! Thanks for your help - I'll certainly give it a try. 👍
I am obsessed with this granny square! It looks so cute with the other designs I'm using to make a bag

Hi Gwen, I just find that chaining 2 instead of 3 in this project just gives a cleaner and less noticeable join :)
