Crochet: Filet Window Pane Granny Square

Awesome tutorial. I've made many of your 12 point star blankets & now discovered this one. This will be perfect for my ongoing cause donating to one of our local hospitals in the city where I live. My tiny blankets are about the size of 13x13" up to 15x15" for the labor & delivery bereavement dept for preemie babies as the gestation is from 12-28 wks. One set for the baby & a matching set for the grieving parents as a keepsake to treasurer forever. Plus I'm making matching beanies for each. Yes, you certainly can. You can change colors every so many rows or use one color.
