During Abberus, watching Echo on the final day be playing normally and just *feeling* the energy shift when they realize that Liquid uploaded logs of the boss being at like 1.5% was unique.

The final day before Echo won Amirdrassil was (in my opinion) the best race finish in history.
Both teams were ripping 1-2% pulls over and over AT THE SAME TIME. It was so hype.
Blizzard will NEVER make another raid as hard as Sepulcher.
It was so wildly hard, even on heroic.
For mythic it was just Blizz showing they could make something stupidly hard.
Surprised Uldir wasn't on here. Udlir was easily one of the most butt clenching RWF.
It came down to 1 decision on 1 reset. Reclear the raid for a guaranteed kill or lock out and try to kill the final boss with the gear you've been trying to kill it with all week.
Nah fr hot take. Eu has an advantage in starting later. You can watch strategy and the way boss mechanics work and look at comps and certain gears and maybe mythic only mechanics especially for final bosses. Its a maze not really a race. Figuring out how to kill bosses before you start is way better for your energy and speed overall.
Halondrus literally killed my guild lmao. Boss was brutal but also one of the most fun bosses.
illidan was almost a 20 min fight his enrage timer was 25 mins xD
I've thought since OG Wrath that Blizz should have built a spectator mode so you could watch a broadcast raid, but with a free-move camera/pov choices etc. I guess they just let Twitch have that money.

Bruh, Echo/Limit would smoke these raids like nothing. You cannot even imagine how unreal hard, these Mythic end game bosses are. They took sometimes 500-600 pulls.
yeah the mechanics got way more complex over time the skill ceiling is way higher now than it was during cata wotlk etc
Yea I mean it was pretty well demonstrated when classic came out and every boss fell over instantly. And that was by players that, while extremely good, often aren’t on the level of the RWF players in retail
Originally I had faith in the scaling it but once my Guild reached Guldan HC in Legion we tried like 20 Times with out small raid group. A Player that was invited for a testraid asked why we made it so hard for us, we had to just invite a lot of randoms. Five people fell off the platform after we filled up with randoms and we killed the boss first try. During our tries with a small Raid one dead player resulted in a wipe.

If u want you can have the weakaura tell you what button to press in every situation it can quite literally tell you how to play perfectly in that moment at all times, just gotta know how to set em up which isn’t hard at all, it’s just that most people don’t wanna learn how to do it they just wanna download an aura

5:08 this was not a complete fumble on Blizzards part. It's a complete fumble that they look at the world first as a benchmark. If these people thought this was way too easy. Then they fumbled by wasting their time. It's a game. Given enough time, they're all easy.
It would be much more easier to track time spent in the raid individually based on server info and raid ID or just track the time separately for each region.

U can’t rly say na is the raid testers bc it was method first they were always testing out the raids for you, then other guilds would try to use their advantages or whatever to catch up to them but ultimately failed bc method was unmatched, so method was the first to do so now liquid stole that act to do it now since the shattering lol

As for the saronite bombs in ICC, how could that even be considered cheating? Should they know better than the developers how mechanics are supposed to interact? Should they have abolished +1% dps increase in the race to world 1st even if they somehow 100% knew that Blizzard can't fix their own game?
I don’t think a lot of people understand what is and isn’t an advantage regarding mythic raid races. This isn’t Classic where raids are being cleared within 2-3 hours of instance opening.
Starting early means nothing when the second guild catches up toward the first big “raid wall” , all that matters is who kills the final boss first.

I don't understand, why is this even a problem to release both Eu and NA mythic raids at the same time? Just add a 24 hrs delay before releasing it on NA and then you get the whole planet tuning in at the same time, fair and squair.

9442 guilds killed xavius cutting edge emerald nightmare, this is probably 0.1% of your population actually finishing your content but yeah it was such a disaster how easy it was. 1450 guilds killed Fyrakk but hey what a sick race to world first!!!
The game isnt designed for me anymore and those who do still play obviously enjoy this way things are but im certain there would be more people playing if every mythic raid was emerald nightmare difficulty. The disaster is that people thinking 0.1% of the population is way too much clearing content because people doing 100 m+ maw of souls every day find it too easy.
Method should’ve won at least 1 in tbc then 1 or 2 in wrath then 2-3 in cata but blizz didn’t count then as wfs or actual wfs lol but then in mop ya no team stood a chance there wasn’t one guild that was on methods lvl

I might watch one of these races if it was a no healer run or minimum gear score run. I don't know. I would make it more interesting anyways. Cuz who could play World of Warcraft the best Is interesting. But who could play the fastest is kind of lame. Speed running an MMO seems like an oxymoron.

hirumared is probably the least knowledgeable wow TH-cam channel. The person who is speaking is only reading scripts that were written for him - he has no idea what he is even talking about. The things that they talk about are most often completely unrelated to the main point. Blaming emerald nightmare's quick clear on legion legendries is honestly laughable and clearly shows that the channel doesn't understand what is going on. The obvious problem with xavius was shadow priests. the double surrender to madness gameplay was way bigger of an issue. This dude has no clue what he is talking about.

So this comment has nothing to do with xaryu or the original creator, but watching the RWF is literally the most un entertaining thing to ever watch.
Why would it be such an unfair advantage for somebody to finish a game a whole week later than somebody else? And why is there such an intense focus on reaching the end? This has me questioning if there's anything good about the rest. Is the story really that garbage? I know this video is a race. But this is how people are in the game too. Not all, but many.
Considering 90% of the story revolves around the endgame at max level and it’s a seasonal game I’m not really sure what you’re even going on about mate. Lol. Race to the end of what? You hit max level then different game modes to play. End to the rush of mythic raiding? Which the majority of the community does not get to the end too? Rush to the end of Mythic+? Which is endless? Or PvP which is also endless? Delves?!? Maybe Delves.

@gregjross852 These were questions for people who think having one global release is unfair. Because they don't want to start a day behind someone else. I don't even know why you're talking about SoD considering this video is about retail. Plus you are wrong about everything else. No mythic you can't do anything endlessly if the season ends. It was kind of a whole point of a seasonal server.
