The Chronicle Books are told from a specific perspective, vol 1-3 were written from the point of view of someone that is very loyal to the Titans, this was confirmed during a Q&A at Blizzcon several years ago. The fourth one seems to be written from the perspective of someone that is quite loyal to the Alliance. So they are cannon on what they say, but they are written with a bias. The specific books that are written about things like Before the Storm and such might be without bias, but there is no confirmation on that as of yet.
Honestly us going back in time is probably why N'Zoth frees Xal'Atath.. thinking that she would bring the Void Lord's goal where he couldn't. He was thinking end game goals.
The theory I have is that N'zoth isnt dead but instead trapped in the blade that xalatath was trapped in. I also wonder if xalatath is the world soul from the etheral world that was corrupted and destroyed.
I honestly don't think N'Zoth is completely dead, as Platinum even mentioned that there is a physical part of him still under Stormsong Valley, and also with the quest in Dragonflight where we went back to the time of the Black Empire, he was the only one that actually had voice lines for us specifically and not just generic Old God ramblings. I think it makes complete sense that he learned how we would kill him because of this event. And who's to say Xal'atath is even telling the truth that all the Old Gods are dead, she is a Void being of some form, and the Void is all about manipulation. I think it's highly possible we will see him again.
There is a 5th Old god that we still have yet to see or even hear about, the new Chronicle mentions there being 5 and then there is the book that is an old book in game that says there were 5, and Neltharion actually has added notes in the version you can find in the Forbidden Reach. So it's highly likely they are going to reveal the 5th one in the semi near future.
@cuneytunsal5422 Originally it was written that there were 5. A book from Vanilla stated such. It was only later that it was said that there were 4. And The original Chronicle books are written from the perspective of someone that serves the Titans, so they may not want it known they failed to imprison one, so they claimed there were only 4.
Believing the lie is what is confusing you. It's confusing BECAUSE the Titans are rewriting history. Always. Every time it goes against their will. The history we have is what has survived. How about the history that didn't match the Titans' will? Look to Karazhan where forbidden knowledge was locked away and those seeking certain knowledge were instructed to burn the book after they read it. The Wrath of the Titans is one of those. Is Yogg-Saron giving himself that title or is he instead telling you the truth of Death? We have never seen it despite visiting the Shadowlands. Reminder: Time is but a window and death a doorway
The old gods can see all futures but they don’t know what future will come or how yo achieve a different future. Us being there tells N’zoth what futures we are on
13:45 individually night elves are very strong, but collectively they're vulnerable to corruption, shadow magic, dragons, high elves... you see the problem
N'zoth was way too small , they could have made such an epic fight , i'm sure some people had the idea at blizzard but since they have to get 500 people to approve any idea , anything that is too " crazy " or " fun " gets stopped instantly.
Won’t have to. Because they didn’t. Old gods from the Dark. Titans come from the Light. Which this is laid out on a light and dark map Blizzard has in one of their art collections book.
I would guess it's either: Void lords either created like and set them out, OR, they took Life aligned lifeforms, like the big dudes on Draenor, and corrupted them and then sent them out, OR, Titans experimented with infusions and infused Life with Void/Shadow and accidentally created Old Gods and tried to cover it up.
C'thun whispers are still one of the best and most terrifying details in WoW history. I hope they bring back more Grimdark elements into the game.
Yogg is the god of death.... What is the end result of the curse of flesh? We all die. How does nobody know that?
Agree
Yeah it is written on screen in the video if you pause at 12:10
Nice take on this!
that would make him a god of mortality not death.
Xar you the goat for keeping the wow community positive or atleast you do your part ❤
Visions of n'zoth/corruption gear was super fun, Idk what the platinum is on about.
lol love the video but this is the epitome of “I don’t know, I just play the game” 😂

To be fair the Void Lords were sort of a retcon just so that we have bigger bad guys besides Sargeras and the Old Gods
The Warcraft lore goes so so much deeper
The old gods can see all futures but they don’t know what future will come or how yo achieve a different future. Us being there tells N’zoth what futures we are on
g'huun was fucking awesome and the fight was cool.
N´zoth place is most badass of them all. My opinion, The Circle of Stars is just creepy as fuck. Guess it has to do something with my waterphobia.
13:45 individually night elves are very strong, but collectively they're vulnerable to corruption, shadow magic, dragons, high elves... you see the problem
very debatable hahaha
Easily manipulative species they are, put a mana potion in front of them and they will point on gnome after question who drank it .
They beat the sht ouf of orcs in warcraft 3. So much so they coulndt do anything
fandral staghelm?
@@Lavrec you mean the orcs that killed their immortal demigod?
Oh we're early early to this one
Btw just noted we did not kill yogg soran but pushed him back. as for c'thun... Uhm I think sargeras did that job for us. Thanks sargeras....
N'Zoth doesnt exacrtly experience time in a linear maner
Platinum likes G’huun purely aesthetically not from how he plays.
Literally how you’re saying he couldn’t like G’huun is gameplay.
N'zoth was way too small , they could have made such an epic fight , i'm sure some people had the idea at blizzard but since they have to get 500 people to approve any idea , anything that is too " crazy " or " fun " gets stopped instantly.
The Titans created old gods change my mind

Old gods from the Dark. Titans come from the Light.

@@Rangerthelonewolf If you are talking about the chart, the titans actually represent Order and not Light
Can't change an idiots mind.
@@vaylox09 damn u got some demons to fight

Shath'yar is actually the Old God language not what the Old Gods are called.
let’s be real the main lore of warcraft ended with the death of Arthas all the other BS it’s s just corny.
To be fair Xaryu you would have to understand some lore to get the connection :P Not just do pvp
❤
His chat loving BFA is WHACK. 2nd or 3rd worst expac ever made. Fucked with MAJOR characters in the lore and not in a good way.
