It's actually legit. It is even more popular than Malwarebytes for removing malware. It is a bit more harsh than Malwarebytes and contains more false positives.
In this case, the scammer may have legitimately had problems hearing because of the audio cutting out (unless that was something Lewis did on his end deliberately).
BRAIN PART IS NOT PRESENT WITHIN INDIAN TECH SCAMMER. When he used the colour command and you could see the command that was typed in 'colour E' I nearly died.
Great job dude! Found you yesterday by accident, watched almost every video. My, these technicians are really out of their hands now are they, the way they try to fool you using basic windows commands is just mindblowing
17:13 when i write " network decurity corrupted or random text " after cd.. cd.. tree it says " the command is either misspelled or could not be found " but color works but my random text just gives me the " misspelled " error what did i do wrong ? :/
The scammer's so into the script he doesn't even process when he's busted. I almost feel bad for him when he just continues fumbling through his lines. What's going through his head? "Shit, the jigs up. No, I can pull this back ... just remember that 3 hour training course. ABC, Always be conning! Right, time for round two!"
I come back every so often to watch the older videos from this channel because Lewis never cared if he mocked the ridiculous “wirus” and “dextop” shite they say. Catching tech scammers has become rather sanitized over the years to where “oh no don’t make fun of what they say, that is so insensitive and mean…” even though they’re scamming thousands out of vulnerable people with no care, that and you can tell they all want to burst out laughing but worry about being chastised by others more.
I don't know how you can keep a straight 'face' in these, I got a scam call the other day, he was straight from the script, and I could stop calling him out, he hung up and haven't had a call since.
May I ask, if I call them over skype can they see from what country are they being called? I tried calling a couple of scammers and they told me never to call them again...
Can you have information on the scammers in the description?? Would love to DoS these idiots... They probably have a i3 Workstation used as a fake website server... Oh god the possibilities
This was really funny. quick question, I have the same VM software on a computer for class and I was wondering, how do you make the virtual pc bigger? the screen is always so small and it bugs me when doing something for class and I have to keep using the bottom scroll bar
2:50 It's so weird how they basically force you to ignore conmmon sense, to not trust this person. Also, their accent is so weird, how they can't say "virus" but "WIRUS". Also, how all of the men that answer the phones sound exactly the same. I bet if all of them all shouted outdoorss at the same time it'd be the loudest single male tech support person...erm, scammer.
the people there scan your computer and claim you have potential viruses on your computer, it is a working anti-virus but i've called them and made them download it on my Virtual Machine and they said i had a potential malicious file, and i only downloaded Google Chrome on that VM
hey lewis not sure where i can contact you but im going to put it here instead how much are all these calls via skype costing you? assuming not every tech scammer is using skype? reason why i ask is because i want to ring up tech support scammers and expose them like you do.
Runs 'Window Defender' "Oops... you can see that Windows cannot find Windows Defender." Oh man I cracked up! Haha that was hilarious! Lewis is like "Yeeeeeaaahhh..." Haha - if anything, the scammer should have said 'Windows cannot find 'Windows!' - which would be more legit considering the error message said exactly that due to it not knowing there was a space after 'Windows' in the argument 'Windows Defender'.
Hey! Are you open to try this again? I have some fun ideas I'd like to do. This includes replacing cmd with a different "better" program, replacing tree and replacing netstat. It should be great :D
You know, I have a feeling that very few of these people probably don't know they are part of a scam and are just working to make an honest living. It is possible that they are trained for technical support and not really told the truth of what's really happening in these scam labs. Their knowledge and the way they handle the call is identical to legitimate call center tech support. I could be very wrong, but I don't know... it might just be possible.
You are right! Sometimes they know it, and sometimes they don't. I have heard scammers who were genuinely convinced they were helping the scammed victim! There is another hilarious video by The Hoax Hotel, in which he keeps asking the scammer on the other end to say the words *I promise this is not a scam.* It is hysterical how the scammer keeps avoiding the sentence, and never says it! :-) I was scammed once by someone at the Fixmypc.net website, but a friend recovered my computer and scrubbed my registry. Also, the bank cancelled my credit card and issued a new one. The bank caught the scammers trying to charge *$2000 worth of software* from a store in India! :-)Aaaahhhhhhh the joys of *instant karma served cold!* Ain't God good? :-)
+Lewis's Tech oh yes I almost want to call a scammer tell him there are wiruses and the only way to get rid of them would be to delete system 32 but first I would mess around and tell them cpu usage and task manager and all that stuff until they delete system 32 and bye bye dextop and there computer
LoL, i think when he installed the spywhere finder it installed other programs that help keep the spywhere finder free. install ads like an add on for Chrome
There's no firewall... in the computer with an OS that by default comes with a firewall... Network decurity corrupted C:/ > color c C:/ > color" I'm dying, this is hilarious. He's so bad at his scam...
Dude you are the best! you crack me up every single bloody time just thank you for doing that to those stupid scumbags and please keep doing what you're doing!
26:05 that question says it all. You could not have made it any clearer, you even held his hand on a tour through your channel and he asks that lolz, wow no wonder he cant get a real job
Oof, when i was listening to this, i was making my own VM, abnd got the Super antivirus on my thVM and when i went to watch it , i noticed he had it on his VM
21:25 Captions: If only the scammers didn't inflate the price insanely so it would seem more...legit, other than their accent and nonsense they do in the command prompt...
Network decurity is really important, dude! *color c* LOL Can't help but think a lot of these are one/two man operations, doing the scam takes about the same setup you use to expose them, and the scammer's incompetence is staggering. Why didn't this one boldly run some kind of ransomware that would at least pretend your system's fucked when cmd didn't work... geez. 18:31 LOL
Try to have your vm machine on a ssd next time. Tree command is too fast then and they probably wont have time to write all the shit they write when tree is doing it's thing
See this is why i have remote connection DISABLED on my PC by default and i have about 3 different antivirus and hardware protection programs that I trust (of course im NOT going to reveal those) and i know how to close these annoying pop-ups. i really hate to see this happening. it's giving people (and not just people from India) a bad name. My boss is Indian and the nicest boss iv'e ever had so it honestly hurts to see this kind of thing. You would figure that they would do something other than doing illegal things to get money.
DEP: Data execution Prevention. Norton Internet security with a password needed to encrypt and decrypt data. Hard Boot Protection, and a few more. Need i go on?
next time try this... i would love to see it in action.... make a file called BANK LOGINS.JPG.... and make the JPG a picture of anything insulting to them... like a middle finger, or SCAMMER CAUGHT... or insult their religion (which they clearly dont care about, due to what they are doing), or a naked indian girl or something... time to get PERSONAL with these guys!!!!
"SuperAntiSpyware" Man, that shit sounds legit as fuck!
+Please Ask Me If I Care. lol superantispyware actaully is legit (for once)
Jesus, really? XD
Otherwise it would have found something virus-like for sure :D
AntiSpam2000
It's actually legit.
It is even more popular than Malwarebytes for removing malware. It is a bit more harsh than Malwarebytes and contains more false positives.
"Network Decurity Corrupted" .. Damn CMD needs auto correct.
Cmd stands for Corrupted Network Decurity
@@transcel CND.
"Brain part of your computer", are you actually serious? And then "Yeah, you can only open it from your side..."
Sam van der Kris *trys cmd twice*
Me: if it didn't work the first time wtf makes you think it will work again XD
I love how scammer always pretend that they don't hear you. They do that to me all the time when I tell them they are scammers.
Nice pic m69
In this case, the scammer may have legitimately had problems hearing because of the audio cutting out (unless that was something Lewis did on his end deliberately).
"there is 9 folders but you only see 3 cause the other 6 are viruses" yeah shit cause there no such thing as subfolders...
i love how at 9:16 the "virtualbox dropped files" is chillin' in that folder
And highlighted
BRAIN PART IS NOT PRESENT WITHIN INDIAN TECH SCAMMER. When he used the colour command and you could see the command that was typed in 'colour E' I nearly died.
Can someone provide me with a download link for a scammer? Planning on using ctrl+f to find the brain part
"Brain Part"
I'm dying.
Zach Ashton Hello I am calling with Microsoft I hear you have a wirus ;)
Great job dude! Found you yesterday by accident, watched almost every video.
My, these technicians are really out of their hands now are they, the way they try to fool you using basic windows commands is just mindblowing
"That was as fast as you pressing Ctrl+Z" -Lewis 2016
17:13 when i write " network decurity corrupted or random text " after cd.. cd.. tree it says " the command is either misspelled or could not be found " but color works but my random text just gives me the " misspelled " error what did i do wrong ? :/
turn captions on any go to 0:27
"I have problems making pizza and I was wondering if you could help me"
The scammer's so into the script he doesn't even process when he's busted. I almost feel bad for him when he just continues fumbling through his lines.
What's going through his head? "Shit, the jigs up. No, I can pull this back ... just remember that 3 hour training course. ABC, Always be conning! Right, time for round two!"
windows cannot find windows. genius
I've heard Malwareshites is a good program for wiruses
"Mawlarebites" is a good program for "wiruses"

I come back every so often to watch the older videos from this channel because Lewis never cared if he mocked the ridiculous “wirus” and “dextop” shite they say.

I'm definitely calling command prompt the 'Brain part' from now on.
I don't know how you can keep a straight 'face' in these, I got a scam call the other day, he was straight from the script, and I could stop calling him out, he hung up and haven't had a call since.
I think he's more pissed at them than he is amused with how stupid they are.
This tecniichan doesn't even propably know how to open a solitaire lol
May I ask, if I call them over skype can they see from what country are they being called? I tried calling a couple of scammers and they told me never to call them again...
They are dedicated to their script lol
Your channel has grown really fast in 1 year.
The funniest part is Microsoft's actual tech support are just like this... wonder how many of them moonlight as scammers 😆
Is the wirus on my compruter screen or my dextop
Can you have information on the scammers in the description??
Would love to DoS these idiots...
They probably have a i3 Workstation used as a fake website server...
Oh god the possibilities
Sir, Sir, how can i downwold SuperWirusScanner?
Wanting more work during lockdownings.
Please sir? Sir?
I messed with one of these awhile ago using the Microsoft egde browser they had no clue what it was lmao
This was really funny. quick question, I have the same VM software on a computer for class and I was wondering, how do you make the virtual pc bigger? the screen is always so small and it bugs me when doing something for class and I have to keep using the bottom scroll bar
Install guest additions
OMG the stumble when the scan result shows nothing was epic

was windows 8 out two year's ago?
+BzERK IE yeah
I've never heard anyone call the entire %temp% folder a virus, blimey....
+BladmirPuting lol that's one of the worst things I've heard. Along with them calling command prompt "the brain part of your Dextop"
System 32 is a wirus delet
LOL@ Oraclebox icon logo right on the taskbar and the "Technician" doesnt seem to realize your trolling him on a vm....def legit
When did MS change the spelling of "security"??? How many times do you need to tell this guy he is a scammer before he starts believing it?
2:50 It's so weird how they basically force you to ignore conmmon sense, to not trust this person.
Also, their accent is so weird, how they can't say "virus" but "WIRUS". Also, how all of the men that answer the phones sound exactly the same. I bet if all of them all shouted outdoorss at the same time it'd be the loudest single male tech support person...erm, scammer.
he left chrome checked during the install of superantispyware and then tries and tells you chrome installing is a mawishus popup
is superantispyware legit?
Yes
Yea It looks kinda sketchy but not necessarily a virus
the people there scan your computer and claim you have potential viruses on your computer, it is a working anti-virus but i've called them and made them download it on my Virtual Machine and they said i had a potential malicious file, and i only downloaded Google Chrome on that VM
ROFL: "Led me know one ding is id dextop or ladpot"? "DE BREIN BARD IS NO OPENING!!"
Do you actually send the link to the video to logmein
+TeratoidRope0 yep gyazo.com/ec8c79b9e3ef17f33ecdadf017ff5cca
This is what I love to see in tech scammer videos. IE you messing with how they talk, and their spelling. Not just focused on how there is no virus.
How did you set up your windows 7 box on VirtualBox? I wanna set up a VirtualBox in Windows 7, but for other reasons. Cough PENTESTING Cough.
you are the master key board warrior, and i mean it in a best way possible lol
hey lewis not sure where i can contact you but im going to put it here instead how much are all these calls via skype costing you? assuming not every tech scammer is using skype? reason why i ask is because i want to ring up tech support scammers and expose them like you do.
Most of the numbers are toll free.
Is the virus on my compruter screen or my dextop
Did you delete all of the programs they try to run?
He probably just renamed them.
i lost it when he started to type things into cmd and changed the color
Runs 'Window Defender'
"Oops... you can see that Windows cannot find Windows Defender."
Oh man I cracked up! Haha that was hilarious!
Lewis is like "Yeeeeeaaahhh..."
Haha - if anything, the scammer should have said 'Windows cannot find 'Windows!' - which would be more legit considering the error message said exactly that due to it not knowing there was a space after 'Windows' in the argument 'Windows Defender'.
You should put some sketchy shortcuts on your dextop
best reveal ever
Hey! Are you open to try this again? I have some fun ideas I'd like to do.
This includes replacing cmd with a different "better" program, replacing tree and replacing netstat.
It should be great :D
+brunoais yeah i do these scam calls loads, add me on Skype if you want- my Skype is: lewisjameshopkins
I love these! ❤️
+_Auryn :D
+Auryn same
A fake scammer would not be a scammer.
I lost it when he said Chrome was a virus.
Wow. Even when you point out he is scammer, he runs Netstat and gets right back on the script!
how do they upload these bogos allerts
You know, I have a feeling that very few of these people probably don't know they are part of a scam and are just working to make an honest living. I can't find any places that can remove wiruses. They only remove viruses.
scary how they always want to know if you use it for banking yikes
So why dose Lewis say dextop and wiruse it funny tho
it's mimicking how the scammers say it
+Lewis's Tech oh yes I almost want to call a scammer tell him there are wiruses and the only way to get rid of them would be to delete system 32 but first I would mess around and tell them cpu usage and task manager and all that stuff until they delete system 32 and bye bye dextop and there computer
+Lewis's Tech it's poisoning the well but SOME of them HAVE said it like that before
"oh...cmd isn't working let me try it 100 more times just in case"
I don't know man... That red text does imply you have 103842 viruses...
why do they always mix up their w's and v's
LoL, i think when he installed the spywhere finder it installed other programs that help keep the spywhere finder free. install ads like an add on for Chrome
There's no firewall... in the computer with an OS that by default comes with a firewall...
Network decurity corrupted

I'm dying, this is hilarious. He's so bad at his scam...
Dude you are the best! you crack me up every single bloody time just thank you for doing that to those stupid scumbags and please keep doing what you're doing!

LMAO. Lewis, I love you!
"color c" fantastic
pretend to not hear what you said by saying "your voice is breaking" - all throughout the call he never had a problem with your voice breaking up
Try to have your vm machine on a ssd next time. Tree command is too fast then and they probably wont have time to write all the shit they write when tree is doing it's thing
My dex top scammer.? English as a second language? Each and everything will be totaly buggered when he is done.. LOL.
I never heard about the brain part of the computer 😁

That was Brilliant, must have kept the bastard on there for fuckn ages, couldn't stop laughing at some of the things u said to him.
