Funny thing is: I got a call from one of those guys about how my computer was, "sending out viruses & malware." So, when he got to the "do you see the Windows key?" spiel, I was like "what Windows key?" So, he asked if I saw the "Ctrl" & "Alt" & when I replied "yes," he asked if there was a key between them. I stated that there was just an empty space (which was true, since I'm using a classic IBM Model M!). Needless to say, that went on for awhile until he got frustrated & hung up.
These people and what they do is awful! Especially wen older ppl receive calls and may not know what is happening and fall for it! I love watching these sort of videos. I'm an expert now! I love how you play dumb and the scammer gets angry!!! Brilliant!!

Do one thing look at your keyboard, press and hold it down the Vindows key, the four flags key, and at the same time press it down letter R key R as in Romeo, and in the little box type "Remove Each and Every Hacker."

If you really want to be mean, pull a Wargames prank on them. Trace their IP and location and put it into a prank program that pretends to launch nuclear missiles at them. Blame it on the viruses, then shut down the VM and start panicing saying there's nothing you can do. :-P That should make them think twice about their job.

The best thing to do is to use the three questions: Is the indian accent present? Does he/she ask for Windows+R? Do they use any computer connecting software like LogMeIn?

You should just put the hoax programs on a task scheduler so that things will progressively happen as the guy's trying to work on it.
I did a similar thing where I used task scheduler to open Never Gonna Give You Up on my dad's laptop every 5 minutes.
