I found 22awg , very small amount of pre tin using Flux on the wire . Then placing the wire though the hole in the top of tdmx. Laying the wire over the pad. Adding solder to the iron tip and doing it via transfer solder. Has worked best for me. I had a hard time getting the solder to stick to the pad if it didn't do it this way. And no risk of bridging the contacts.. I can send you a pic of it on FB if you like tonsee what I did
Agree, you want pin your pad and your wire with the heat gun to heat them up first and then apply the solder and it will whisk into both and you won’t get cold soldering. These little pads are a big pain to work with but have found this technique to work the best and no concern of bridging. Love your videos.

I'm using 2 on aura 5 an 8 with no problems.
I've gotten mine to work with the Aure 5 & 8 as well. Just still need to get used to the trim procedure on those stabilizers
