Superb insight of the project by an Engineer who was on deputation from J&k to Ranjit sagar Dam in Punjab and
remained associated initially with RSD project and then lateron with shahpurkandi Dam project.He has a tremendous contribution towards this SPK project especially in its take off .and then in its resumption in Nov 2018 when it got stopped on 30th August 2014 by the intervention of J&k.for 50months.He is a very brilliant Engineer and have maintained a very positive approach all along .He has given very informative,exhaustive and enlightening insight of the project.
Deserves full Accolades . (The Dam part of the project is under construction by M/S Soma Bureya JV on EPC mode) and is in the last stage of completion 👍👍👍👍👍.

People of the rest part of our country should know about these projects of Punjab and J & K, which will have a very positive impact on development of north western part of India. Major Lapse in land acquisition in shahpurkandi dam project, acres of land was acquired while reservoir of dam was in process in2021. The Land acquisition Act of 2013 is not followed during land acquisition process and govt forcefully diverted water towards farmers land which let them suffer huge losses.
