Thanks man, so glad to finally be on a shock that doesn’t feel like the climb switch is always on, as you knew firsthand when you had your Trek Remedy. Float X is a perfect ride everything shock, but coil is simply the best feel ever on downhill so I can see why you got a Marzocchi coil. No refunds!
Thanks Rob, learning more about MTB suspension and the tuning process on my bikes for better trail performance has been a lot of fun. Hope you can make it up to the Range again soon, might try to convince you to keep heading past Cuyuna for another two hours for Redhead!!
Sounds good, should be available to ride a lot of weekends this summer, let me know if there’s a day when you’re thinking about getting back up North and we can arrange a ride!
Thanks man, riding at Split Rock Wilds is great practice for the tech. There is one section of double black tech at Cuyuna I have never cleared, Timber Shaft T2. It was definitely built when bikes were a lot smaller and on 26’ wheels, a modern XL 29er is rather challenging to ride there. Love the variety there though and that it’s not just all flow trail.
I’m glad to see the Reaktiv shock off your bike and that the float X is being appreciated and out through its paces! Great riding and video dude!

Great riding Andrew, really makes me want to get out to Cuyuna soon! Glad that Float X has upped the fun factor for you!

Great video! I need to get to Cuyuna this year.
Thanks Randy, you definitely need to make the trip to Cuyuna, always a great ride there! See you in Piedmont or at Spirit one of these weekends!
@@AndrewGehn You can count on it!
Booked a long weekend end of July. Gonna ride until I can't sit and walk bow legged 😅.
Shred the red until your legs are dead Harry, sounds like a great summer weekend.
