I've been making the exact recipe for the meatballs in grape jelly and chili sauce since the 60's. They were the "it" appetizer at potluck parties.

One of my party favorites. Haven’t made it for years. If cooked on top of the stove or crock pot the jelly starts to carmelize giving you a sticky sauce. So go.

Hey man, not single but lived alone for a while while my wife (gf at the time) and I weren’t living together. It’s definitely not the easiest to make single meals in a crockpot or IP just by how they are designed (pretty big) but if anything you can always try to just cut the recipe down to what seems reasonable. For just the 2 of us I might change it to just 2 breast’s or thighs etc. Learning to cook the right amount is definitely one of the hardest parts of being a home cook, but I find that learning how to reuse things for leftover meals to be the key. I love to use random meats that are from the night before and throw them into a taco/enchilada or maybe make a fried rice, anything to make it not the same protein. Just a couple tips. Good luck and happy cooking!

I have found that buying some freezer-safe containers to the size you like your meals to be (16 oz, 24 oz, etc) and when I have a batch of something that looks like it will take DAYS to eat it all, just put some of that big batch into 1 or more of those containers and freeze them... You will NOT tire or your own home-made freezer meals, because they're always handy to have and you KNOW they are delicious!. Just do a little testing for the microwave reheating, start with 1 or 2 minutes then add more time as needed. Maybe write down your best times so you'll know next time ;-D

You really make it seem so easy to use an instant pot. I don't own one but seeing how delicious looking the meals you are making are turning out and how fast they cook, it makes me want to go out and buy one today! 😂. Also, the prep looks super easy! Basically, with one of these, anyone can be a great cook with little to no cooking experience. Haha. I was on the fence about owning one because I was just a little intimidated that I might do something wrong and accidentally end up with a hole in my ceiling im my kitchen. 😂 But, again, you make it look so easy and safe and I have to admit, a little fun as well! Lol. Thank for posting these videos! I'm definitely going to buy an instant pot asap now! You're beautiful and awesome! Looking forward to seeing other meals you cook in the near future! Great fun ! Tyvm😁 oh and good luck with the marathoning! You'll make to Boston and do amazing! I can tell because you have a great attitude about everything it seems!

When pouring broth out of the box, hold the box so that the sprout is at the top not the bottom.
This position allows the Broth to flow smoothly, not gulping & splashing and making a mess.

Once the pasta is cooked I would say making a cheese sauce for Mac and cheese or Alfredo is probably better done with a slow cooker, or possibly the slow cooker setting, like mix the cooked noodles with the cheese, milk, and butter, and just leave everything on low for a while until it is all hot and melted. If it becomes crispy in some spots those are the coveted parts.

😀 Hi, I lived in England a few years and just thought I would try to help you with the “W” sauce pronunciation. Many, many Americans seem to have difficulty with that. The name Worcestershire is pronounced as “worse - ter - sheer”. It is not just the name of the sauce, but originated in the city of Worcester, in the county of Worcestershire. Hope that is of some use. The original was called “Lea & Perkins Sauce. Love your videos👍😀

She’s using a 6 st here. Don’t worry about all the crazy buttons, they’re just pre-set timers that you could just as easily set manually. You won’t use them 1% of the time, if ever.
The older models have a ‘Manual’ button & the newer ones replaced it w/a ‘Pressure Cook’ label but they are EXACTLY THE SAME. If the recipe says ‘hit pressure cook’ just hit manual & vice versa.
Mine was a gift & sat in its box in the garage for 3 years until Covid when I got it out due to sheer boredom.

I've always heard you shouldn't shop when you're hungry; well worse than that, it watching your channel when hungry. TCatsup, mush to the horror of anyone reading this I'm sure. Spent a lot of time in Canada and the group I hung with did this. Having an absolute open mind to trying new foods (I had a Durion smoothie in Thailand) I tried it and loved it.

What do you press if you don’t have a “manual” button on your instant pot? Mine has slow cook, sauté, pressure level and pressure cook.

Use the pressure cook button on your model.

I have tried my Instant pot multiple times and I always overcook everything even when I follow the directions exactly. Maybe I'll have to try again. Also I can't stand cleaning the thing! Any ideas how to make it easier? It's the lid that takes so long!

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that if your lid is getting very dirty, perhaps it's too full? And cut down the time if it's getting overcooked.

Quick question. Do they make one large enough to fit a Boston butt/pork shoulder in so i can make bbq pulled pork sandwiches? Does anyone happen to know? 🤔
