- One important note I forgot to mention. I do have the factory active exhaust sound that gets pumped in through the speakers DISABLED. All the in cabin exhaust noise you hear is coming from the actual exhaust system.
I hope this video is helpful to anyone looking for a similar exhaust setup for their own Supra. When I was doing my research (for both exhausts) I couldn't really find any videos that demonstrated what the exhaust(s) sounded like just cruising around town peacefully.
My goal was to have tame and quiet exhaust note that I really didn't notice while I'm just driving around town normally or on the highway but also be able to sound significantly louder when I put it into sport mode and want to have some fun. I finally achieved exactly that with the HKS Hi-Power and AA Catted Dp set up.
Also, I didn't make this video to bash the Magnaflow Xmod exhaust by any means. It was simply just too loud for my day to day driving. I did love the aggressive raw tone it gave my car and being able to swap the mufflers in and out for straight pipes was awesome. It just simply wasn't for me. - กีฬา

Glad I could help! I couldn't find anything on it either so I just had to take the gamble. Luckily it worked out.
@@STV3TA are you happy with the sound and how loud it is? I don’t want too obnoxious loud but definitely wanna be able to hear it and from everything I’ve seen, the hks seems like the perfect match.
Yeah it's perfect paired with the AA Catted DP. When I'm cruising around in normal mode it's super chill with zero drone. Once you get on it though it's plenty loud with a really good JDM like tone.
I just took off my ARK DT-S exhaust after 12 months because the sound bothered me along with the drone. I couldn’t even be on phone calls while driving. Do you have a catted down pipe or completely stock down pipe?

@@chrisginoc I'd def recommend it. There's no drone at all, just the slight sound of the exhaust while cruising. Doesn't vibrate the cabin like my Magnaflow did
What didn’t you like about the ark? I’m trying to choose between ark and hks with aa downpipe.
@@jacogarage9659 ARK sounds good with the valves closed and also looks very nice in regards to craftsmanship. Being honest I took it for two reasons: Cops where I live pulled me over due to the burnt tips and I also didn’t like the drone at wide open throttle in sport mode above 3,500 rpms.
What did you do with the Magnaflow? Is it for sale? lol
It was but it sold awhile ago
