BILLY BADGER! Learning my way through Thunder Mountain tech!
This was only my 2nd time down this trail that day. Next time I'm there, I'm definitely going to ride it a bunch more. I'd love to learn all the lines and ride it faster! Also I always run a reflective tinted lens in my goggles and I couldn't see a damn thing with all the tree cover. Going to run a clear lens there next time for sure 😂

How much does it cost to get a bike that you can ride these sort of trails with? Could you suggest a specific brand and/or model? Thanks
I'd look at bikes from YT Industries. A base model Jeffsey or Capra would be perfect to start with. I think they start in the low $2k range

Haha it's the not so secret secret trail. I've been riding it for years, but funny that you said the other part of Fat Lip. That totally makes sense, but I was told years ago that it's called Morning Wood so that's what we've been calling it all this time 😂

I believe people can go as fast as they want as long as they're respectful about it. No tailgating or weaving traffic. If there's a slower left lane driver, just wait your turn and you're good.

I just took off my ARK DT-S exhaust after 12 months because the sound bothered me along with the drone. I couldn’t even be on phone calls while driving. Do you have a catted down pipe or completely stock down pipe?

@@chrisginoc I'd def recommend it. There's no drone at all, just the slight sound of the exhaust while cruising. Doesn't vibrate the cabin like my Magnaflow did
What didn’t you like about the ark? I’m trying to choose between ark and hks with aa downpipe.
@@jacogarage9659 ARK sounds good with the valves closed and also looks very nice in regards to craftsmanship. Being honest I took it for two reasons: Cops where I live pulled me over due to the burnt tips and I also didn’t like the drone at wide open throttle in sport mode above 3,500 rpms.

Glad I could help! I couldn't find anything on it either so I just had to take the gamble. Luckily it worked out.
@@STV3TA are you happy with the sound and how loud it is? I don’t want too obnoxious loud but definitely wanna be able to hear it and from everything I’ve seen, the hks seems like the perfect match.
Yeah it's perfect paired with the AA Catted DP. When I'm cruising around in normal mode it's super chill with zero drone. Once you get on it though it's plenty loud with a really good JDM like tone.

Apparently, e-bikes are banned at Mountain Creek now. I was shocked to hear this. Did they used to be allowed? Did something happen?
Nope, never heard of anything like that. Just saw a few ebikes there this past weekend
@@STV3TA That’s encouraging. I sold my regular bike to a guy who told me that there were signs saying no e-bikes there, and chat support also said no e-bikes. Definitely something I need to clarify since I have an awesome e-bike I would like to ride there.
@@aggropa yeah just bring it, you'll be fine. Literally see them there all the time and I usually bring mine a few times a year.
