    Over the past year, I've learned that basic self-care can be a privilege.
    I am Ukrainian. After the full-scale invasion of russia on our territory, we had to adapt to different conditions. I am now 26, but in the first half of 2022 I have aged considerably. And I notice it among my friends and relatives. Wrinkles and fine lines have become deeper, the skin is more irritated, dehydrated, and dull. Now I can take better care of my skin. At least we have water almost all the time. And the electricity is turned off periodically (if there is no significant damage due to shelling).
    But I am lucky, many people lack this opportunity. Take care wherever you are)

      I am a dietician too and I would never recommend supplements to my patients except if they medically need it. I am the type of dietician who highly recommend to incorporate ingredients (real food) that are missing in their diet. Everything depend on the budget, the age, male, female, pregnant, breastfeeding, the weight and of course the medical record. I love Cassandra and her videos but promoting supplements to people who probably don't need it is something I don't like. It is very rare people who eat meat miss protein so I believe you know as much as me what can happen when an individual is consuming too much of macro-molecules, right?

    Your videos always seem poignant to the things that I need to hear when I need to hear them. I’ve been coping with family members having sudden illnesses recently and it has been heavy on my heart. I appreciate you speaking about stress in life and how it impacts us because it is the reminder I needed in order to set down the burdens and guilt and worry I’ve carried for months and remember to be kind to myself. Just wanted to say thank you again for all that you bring to the world and your genuine compassion and care for people is a gift.

    • @m.p.749
      @m.p.749 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jordynsiera I have found a significant difference in how severe my eczema gets based on what I’m eating. It used to be covering my entire ear and scalp by my ears. Now it’s only in my ear canal and one side of my scalp. I cut out a lot of foods (red meats, dairy, overly sugary foods), and also started using more natural hair products as well as sleeping on a satin pillowcase. It’s helped a ton for me. I used to have to put cortisone 10 on my ears just for the pain and itchiness to pause for a bit

    Hey, Cass, I'm curious about why you think Vaseline isn't vegan or cruelty free....
    I should clarify for anyone else: petroleum jelly is a byproduct of processing crude oil, and there's no animal products in it. It being called "jelly" doesn't mean there's gelatin in it.
    As for cruelty free, Vaseline's parent company Unilever hasn't tested on animals since the 1980's.

    i've been super about the elf woah glow sunscreen/primer (spf 30). it's really lightweight but not drying for my sahara desert skin. as for reapplying, i usually wear makeup so i found an spf 30 setting spray from coola (the bottle sucks but i just transferred it to a little spray bottle and haven't had any problems).
    the coola setting spray is INCREDIBLE. i used it for five straight days in mid-september at a music festival and then disneyland and didn't get sunburned at all. highly recommend

But I was wondering what else I could use instead of an HA ?
    The other serums I have at home are HA, niacinamide, the buffet, the argireline and the matrixyl
    Online they say to use a super serum or a vitamin b serum (so should I use my niacinamide ?)
