Excellent analogy and metaphor. The 50s were the infancy of pop, the 60s were the childhood, and the 70s were the exciting adolesence and teenage years! Thereafter pop grew older ☹
Congratulations and happy birthday, dear Noosha. Today (08.12.2020) is your 76th birthday. 🎂 Many happy returns of the day and thank you for all your phantastic songs. ✨💖✨
Saw the band, ie Fox, at Newcastle Poly Student Union in ‘75. Didn’t know her/them at all but they were doing a sound check as we were having our sausage, chips & beans at lunch. That was all it took and we were back that night. Fabulous band.
I've only just discovered this band and am constantly wondering why no one seems to have heard of them, it genuinely baffles me because they're so amazing and unique
I bought this as a single when it came out - I replayed it over & over . . . Nevertheless, I was surprised now, on hearing it for the first time in decades, I could sing along to every word! ☺️
During decades of my life I listened to countless tunes ( maybe tens of thousands ) but this song is an unique example of musical drug. When the voice of Noosha starts it I am levitated in a different world from the real one we are living in.
Super song from super 1975. Truly magical tune. Nice beat and rhythm now all these years later for dancing modern jive/ceroc to. DJs need to discover this gem and play it!
Buona domenica a te TOPPOP io ti ringrazio tantissimo che tu mi hai mandato a me dal mio canale su TH-cam questo video buona domenica a te da RENZO STELLINI
@@garryleerob You're right. I'm from Germany and I was 14 years old in 1975. In the German charts 1. Only you can, 2. Imagine me, Imagine you, 3. He's got magic. All in 1975. S s s Single Bed didn't make the charts here. Thank you. ;-)
Some people say the 60s was a revolution, but the 70’s fine tuned it. Noosha was like a smouldering volcano.

‘The seventies fine tuned the sixties’
Lovin’ that !
And so true.
nah the 80's done that
Oh Christ, I fell in love with Noosha. I was 17, Never found anyone quite like her, but I tried!
Not even Tina Charles or Kate Bush?
Me too!
@@andycotton162 this one takes me back
I hope you regained your senses.

Tony Mack. You are so right.
what a blast from the past - used to love this song when I was a kid - used to pinch my nose to do an impression of her voice !!
Great song and singer
That surround sound at 1:38 is so cool. 😎 It's even cooler on a record player. 🥰👍
The effect is called phasing
yeah I think it's some kind of phaser effect, I like it in headphones, like she's singing in your head
@@brianmush4795 Thanks! 😃👍
@@dugl Yeah, it's really cool! 😃👍
Brilliant tune which brings back some brilliant memories of 1975. Totally loved Noosha
Absolutely one of my favorites! Her voice is insane!
The 70's produced a lot of very nutty songs. This is one of them.
Love this song just heard it on Top Of The Pops last night, can't get it out my head

I loved Fox - they epitomised 70's pop-music !
The perfect production to a great melodic song !
70’s the best year of music❤️❤️❤️
70's were a decade not a year.
During decades of my life I listened to countless tunes ( maybe tens of thousands ) but this song is an unique example of musical drug. When the voice of Noosha starts it I am levitated in a different world from the real one we are living in.
I remember this song like it was yesterday - heard it a lot when I was in love the first time of my life...
She was a big star in the 70's.sweet voice and a fine looking woman.

Very nice song and classic I'm like 👍
Brilliant track ,what a voice
I'm STILL in love!
The absolute group ever
Thank heavens for you TH-cam. This is one of the most 'beaty'' songs ever.
She sang in this unique voice long before Kate Bush.
Never got the recognition and disappeared into obscurity.
She had a famous son though 👍
Who was he?

She is so BEAUTIFUL..
I used have a big crush on her back in the 70s when I was a teenager.......

Strange, I don't remember this song in 1975. I guess it was the time I was travelling. Interesting song.

Principios de 1977, vivíamos en varias partes de Iztapalapa hasta el mes de agosto.
Mother of Ben 'Bad Science' Goldacre!
I like 70s
Fox formed by Kenny Young who wrote under the boardwalk and who formed Yellow Dog
Takes me back. ..and all sung without a voice changer. Some bands these days have no talent and cant hit those notes.
She’s an Aussie putting on a Marlene Dietrich voice
Great, great song ❤️
What's meaning "chick a tar me daw ma taya" (refrain)? Does anyone know?
A modern singer like Florence Welsh ( of Florence and the Machine) would dig this song and this singer. I loved this song.
What I would give to have a woman like her, even as a nipper I admired her
So talented I wonder were she is now
77 years old now ... lives in Australia apparently.
Mega
Always thought this song had an almost prototype punk/new wave feel about it.
Noosha Fox/Susan Traynor was the 70s version of Claire Grogan!
❤️💝

Quite curious this showing, what year would this have been?
Noosha looks nearer 40, is her hairstyle more in the 1980's?

Don't forget He's got Magic. Think it was the biggest Hit of Fox.
No, sorry this was the biggest hit chart-wise. Followed by Single Bed
