We still love you, Susan. Just bought myself a fancy new turntable, and decided that the albums I fell in love with on vinyl as a teenager (1976), should still be enjoyed on vinyl (2024). I was not disappointed. Much love.
I still have the 45 RPMs that were released in France by then ...but only discovered the videos on youtube 30 years later ....Fox were great and musically original . Noosha's voice reminds me of Clare Grogan to some extent ...
As an American I had never heard this song until recently and her voice reminded me of someone but until I saw your comment I hadn’t thought of Clare Grogan. Great catch!
I missed my train (nobody knows where I am), I can’t run (kicked off my shoes) she’s going to cut off my head (no room for it) and play with my brains (explore my mind)
TWO Things: Why do people constantly have to bring another female singer down to praise one? And two: Madonna never had an early influences other than artists...her look was inspired by Frida Kahlo and Carmen Miranda...and she never grew up listening to music. She studied Michael Jackson and Pat benatar and only because they were popular. And that is GENIUS for someone to convince themselves to be singers just as a ticket to fame.
@@OasisEnLaLunna I am totally with you, although you misunderstood the other commentor: that one said(and meant) : Noosha must have had influence on Madonna, so Madonna was influenced and impressed, not Noosha:-)
How about listening this in 2024, sensational, love Noosha
She is mesmerising.

In 1976.......... there was a rumour that this is Molly Meldrum's sister..........luv it
She actually is Ben Goldacre's mum though!

Noosha sieht hier aus wie die Schauspielerinnen aus der Stummfilmzeit.
Weiß nicht was genau, aber eine faszinierende Frau.

Noosa Fox.
Noosha was just tad too soon. Kate Bush stole the Weird Crown.
A proper talent, well before her time KTF
I notice they didn't show the guitarist blowing down that tube
to get that weird sound, maybe he forgot to bring it?
The b side of the single, Silk Milk, is even better.
Silk mink
Married a professor of literature...
Fox's other big hit was Only you can
I missed my train (nobody knows where I am), I can’t run (kicked off my shoes) she’s going to cut off my head (no room for it) and play with my brains (explore my mind)
Ever heard of the sofa Noosha?
Reminds me of a young Vivienne Westwood .
She must have had influence on early Madonna
