- Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines (1998) does not start and throws: INITIALIZATION ERROR I CAN NOT FIND DIRECTX 5. And if you correct this by renaming the exe file, it's ugly scaled and runs too fast and you can't save and load the game (haha, how are you supposed to play it silly bunny?). I show you how to fix the quick gameplay and make it playably slow again and how to make Commands Behind Enemy Lines Widescreen.
1. Get Commandos x64 fix from:

You can zoom out with + and zoom in with - but sometimes it doesn't work because of your keyboard, some keys are not the same for everyone, you should try another keys to find the game's + and -
@@cristopheraguilar9742 Long time for your reply. I finished playing it. Any info about remaking the old Commandos? The Best games were part 1 and 2. The rest are nice, but the old ones had any missions. I hope they make new Commandos. Bye
@@simonhadid5894 I don’t think they'll remake any Commandos game but you can always play the HD Remaster version of Commandos 2 and 3 for some graphic improvement.

Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work. I got the game trough steam.
Running the game 1080p Makes the right side of the game distorted.

first guess: you have to rename the actual .exe file. perhaps a shortcut was renamed instead?

You still want commandos? I just bought the GoG store version (original) so it doesn't have viruses. Also I bought the expansion pack "Beyond the Call of Duty" too.

Everything works exept the game doesnt have good fps and stll lagging some.. Maybe need some different drivers for my Nvidia card?
The game itself won't run more than 20-25 fps because that was the max fps you'll get back then when the game came out.

2. Play most Window 98 and Windows XP games without any issues or glitches.
Not entirely true, there are the CD issues with even getting the game to start regardless on whether it's in the drive or not
