Note: This is played at 100% speed (30fps) unlike the other speedruns on youtube I've seen (those slideshow chinese videos are at ~120% for example)

By far, it was the tougest mission for me when I was too young to understand how this strategic game works.
Green Beret killing all the solider while sniper is aimed at by serveral soliders is the real time saving deal. NIce
Yeah, but I tried doung the same and my sniper was shot. I tried doing it 2x. So this speed rynner must be playing on easy mode or something
Man, I nailed it now. I've learned how to have the soldier pointing at you without shooting. Such a nice trick. It's been saving me a whole lot of time.

Honestly you are very good at this game! I'm replaying the missions following your vids as a guide. My favorite move so far is using the man trap as a stealth kill from behind. Priceless!
when you kill all the troops from the house (by the trap), the last one will try to desert

@crimsonfilter the gunner is outside of the alarm's range. That's why the shooting with the pistol does not turn on the alarm. In my version of commandos it is the same.

@crimsonfilter machine gunners/boates/tanks doesn't sound alarms when they see a dead boady, it's a thing in the game
@crimsonfilter ye apparently i missed 'would do' in the end of the sentence, i just cant be bothered to explain every suspicious details in my videos
all i can say is there are cheats that allows u to teleport and be invulnerable (which shows red 'I' in top left corner of the screen) for all i can remember
do yourself and everyone else a favor and keep accusations down on stuff you havent explored yourself

wtf, how come the guard didn't follow the sniper all the way up?! Also how come they don't start shooting your sniper eventually?! They only leave my guy until someone comes to take him as prisoner (like a patrol group) and when there's no one around, then they just start shooting after 5-10 secs.
Why the gunner did not sound the alarm when you killed the enemy in front of him?

This is not easy, as some say, but neither cheats have been used. The way how quick the player is doing the job is knowing the AI and movement of the characters. Once you know, it'll be possible to speedrun this level.
he may have used a cheat of invincibility.....when the sniper blows the second set of barrels, you can see on the picture he gets injured (turns red) and he doesn't get any damage.
Is that FPS adjuster needed in windows xp? i played without it up to level 8 and don't know the difference in gameplay with that loader.
how can you do this first time, every time, i following exactly what they do here, and i still can't do it.
I don't know why but i remember that when i played it (many years ago) it was impossible to stand and show yourself as the bait in this mission. The Germans were not standing and aiming at you (as in the previous missions) but immediately started shooting.
Depends if they see you standing or moving. If you just stand up and don't move, they do this. If you move, they shoot
hahaha holy shit. took me a year to get past the first 6 guys. God i hated this game limited ammo, medi paks, no second chances like commandos 2, but it didnt stop me from playing it lol it was ace.

His game his rigged normally when you re at aim for 10 second, 2 options :
they shoot you or they arrest you.
I used to find it really hard to go down the ramp
I use the keyboard shortcuts all the time but you do can multitask at speed.

I used to be a pro at c2 back in the day, now I'm replaying them, starting from c1 and all I can say is that u shouldnt even bother replying these jealous playerz I believe this to be true and u rock babyee oh yea

You could use a program that downloads it from YT, like Acatcher or the like.
You are very good player, thanks for the videos, i grabbed the game from pirate bay and finally it works on xp with save/load.
you waste 12 sec by carrying 3 barrel for line them between the water tank and fuel pack ...
you need to know carry one barrel near the water tank and explosive the nearest barrel to your sniper (not the barrel beside the water tank) with pistol and the gas tank with sniper shot on the barrel beside (as you do) ... you offer about 10 - 12 sec
(the explosion of fuel pack is big to damage the barrel beside the water tank)

no, It happens to me too, the alarm doesn't sound sometimes
this is impossilbe cuz the germans shoot me after saying "halt!", even though I didn't move at all. I'm playing the steam version.
+kirbyksn1 i play the steam version and the germans don't shoot when "i" am spotted, unless the soldier walk upstanding
Sorry if it's too late, but the Germans shoot only if they see a "dead body" in their LOS (Line of sight) or if they are a patrol squad (Germans who patrol an area) or if you move when they see you. :)
I remember my brother and me got stuck in this mission and we could'nt pass even the beginning... Now I see how absurd is the way he did it and feel asshame and disappointed with the game.

and when you kill the last dude between the barrels the one facing the tanks you should have removed his body from that place as the other one on the bridge will see his body and trigger the alarm

on a serious note though, calling me a cheater for exploiting bad ai on a 10+ years old game is something ppl who play this game (or any other similar to it) by killing every enemy on the map taking hours and hours to clear that one level

Those are stupid soldiers. I play hard mode over Steam. Soldiers are unpredictable, they acts so smart.
Some case bell ringing few time ok, but next time soldiers shot to it, and even not fix cycles route (few route they didn't see the death body, next route they SAW it! (in near-miss positions

i finished the game mostly like you but whenever he says hey it should sound the alarm which means you are some how cheating

That looks like a little bug in this game, I mean, once the enemy troops spot and "halt" a commando they immediately shoot at him or take him prisoner to a barrack building where a NAZI flag is waving.
However, they just keep aiming at him and let you time enough to KILL THEM OF WITH THE KNIFE!!!
By the way, was it possible to kill a soldier with the knife without his comrade noticing being JUST NEXT to him???
I noticed different soldiers have different AI settings, some of them stay and wait, another are shooting

I am not happy with what u are doing .. firstly ur camera is 2 far due to which I cant see things properly such as decoy , 2ndly why are you so in a hurry .. Play it slowly so that it would be easy 2 follow .. And at 1:27 after placing the decoy , they sound the alarm which is not there in your case ....Plz must reply Soda88
