I don't understand why finagling with the registry is necessary. I used the nGlide configuration tool and renamed "glide2x.dll" to "glide2x.dll.bak" according to what someone else told me to do and it worked fine. Could you explain the reasoning behind messing with the registry and if it actually does anything? So far the only problem I have been having is some missions won't end properly unless you alt-tab in and out of the game, and so far nobody has been able to explain why.

It looks much higher res and has more advanced lighting than in other comparisons?

I actually just found a better way of doing this that doesn't require you restarting the whole mission. At 5:34 you click on ObjectiveProgresses (Collection) and you get that drop-down menu with four 1s and a bunch of 0s. You don't have to set them all to zero - All you need to do is set the first 0 to a 1 and you're automatically progressed to the next point of the mission which is drop the items into the chute at the Broadcast Centre! Either way, thanks for the guide anyway! It would've taken me ages to work out my way around the different sub-menus in the save editor.
