Great video as usual. I live a mile or two off the TPT and I need to get out and do the whole thing one day. I have family in Sheffield too so I can even plan that into the trip!
Ah, we passed each other on this quick trip of yours. It was on the riverside path just as you were coming up back of Meadowhall entrance to foodhall. I would have said hello but I was heading home at that point and my tired brain didn't twigg it was you until we'd passed each other. I wondered if you'd come from your folk's house, which is very close to where I was heading back to. The very wiggly TPT with its various branch lines, in particular around Sheffield really needs some different names to reduce confusion for folk seeing signs to turn off the TPT they are currently on. Branch Line to York, Sheffield, Leeds etc would help. Not done the branch line up to Leeds yet. Might try that soon to tick it off. This route reminds me I have a nerdy question about optimum TH-cam codecs re a video I did on the TPT, that YT mangles. I'll message you via FB.
Not sure what you’re saying here but if you think that was staged you’re very wrong! I was going slower than I’d planned and I messaged my other half saying so and out of the blue like I said, her mum called and offered to have me and the family round to save a late night for me! Also meant I could see my son as well 👍

Chesterfield-Sheffield - after Rother Valley - Woodhouse Washland-Orgreave is a flater alternative and avoids the 627 rejoin 67 at Europa Link.

@@Cycling366 627 is probably quicker but its mostly up-hill parallel to the Sheffield Parkway!
As an ex astronomer, I think the Solar System Way trail is an amazing way to help show how incredibly big our solar system is.
Yeah it’s unbelievable how tiny we are compared to the sun and gas giants
