I don't know how to swim. I'm 73. This floating home is super! I love it! I would wear a life jacket 24/7. But I would definitely want to live here if it was GIVEN to me.
For relief of my OCD, I'd exchange the mini blinds on the round window next to the front door. The TV would be excellent, if installed on a pivot bracket to cover that window for when privacy is desired. Plus, the relocated TV clears off the bartop (as Alexis said👍👏).
I've been a subscriber for years now and I have never heard either one of you curse in your videos, until now. LMAO it caught me by surprise and I laughed like hell when I realized Alexis said in the advertisement " It's F'ing cute" @7:33 minutes Not that I have an F'ing problem with it 😄
I love the floating house, I would love to have one just like it but on ground not water. I have motion sickness really bad. I love that you can stand up all through the house.
Hey y'all found my house that was stolen last year, thank you 🤣. I'm allowed to dream dang it.😁 love this to pieces guys. Y'all have tbe best giggles. I love y'all, you're the best. Great Great video 🤗🤗🤗
This is an interesting floating home, and I enjoy those rounded windows, as a clever design hint to portholes. The standing height upper level bedroom is great. That separate toilet area is convenient. I'd short stay visit, but not prefer FT in that setting.
I always thought I'd like to live in a houseboat, but I do get seasick (though I love sailing!) so maybe it wouldn't be the right thing for me. It's great that you mention all the drawbacks or things to look out for. Many of the things that come with living on a houseboat or floating home one gets used to - like holding on, securing keys, glasses, phone, etc., but it would be a whole different experience renting one for a short stay! But I do have to say that living on the sea is attractive. But I'd rather not be cheek-by-jowl with a bunch of folks, so I guess I'll just stay in my little rural cabin!
Actually I had been looking when looking at places in the Pacific Northwest! My ex and inlaws (we are still close) had been talking about it as was I before they thought about it as well. They were looking at homes and I was looking at floating homes or house boats. I had lived on a schooner for a bit before and my aunt and uncles house boat in Northdern Cal for two Summers so this isn't new to me. So I am glad to see you doing a vid or two on this and ALSO telling the pros and cons about it as well!
I checked one out 25 years ago in Melbourne Florida. The owner and I were sitting on the back deck watching dolphins jump around. I was so sold, but the storm aspect was concerning. So I prayed at that moment to feel what it's like and sure enough I was sent a storm within moments. It was an easy no and that one was on pylons! Wish it had a restaurant that close. 😃 That one was gorgeous, and a much better view of Puget Sound ❣
@@TinyHouseExpedition I would strongly consider this type of housing again. The technology must have been greatly improved after 2.5 decades!! 😆 And yes THAT VIEW ⛰
I love the decor colors and the style, inside and out! It looks so comfortable. Washington State is a great place for a house boat. Thanks for the tour.
Every now and then you show a tiny house that has ether no problems or very few, like this one. For me I think if your going to live somewhere where it rains a lot, you might want more awning over the deck furniture I noticed you didn't sit on...... because it was raining. But I think I could live in a house like this, on land.
Love this beautiful "tiny" floating home. I could see living here. I agree about the TV, it looks like there's enough wall there to do a flexible mount or use a ceiling drop down mount, so you can move it out of the way to use the bar without having to pick it up and put it on the floor. So how many butts is the kitchen space? :D Thanks for the tour!
The deck is wonderful. But in the Northwest there will be many, many days of rain and overcast, so the space may not be as useful then. Thank you for the tour.
