    No way. It happened again lol you posted the EXACT right video lol I narrowed my decision to the Rode Duo and Scarlett 2I2 after last video but i don’t know anything about audio and read that the Duo had automatic settings that make it sound great as a plug and play. I had no idea how to dial up the software. But now the 2I2 is back in play. I would like the save the $200+ if possible lol. You’re the man!!

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey! I understand but be careful, it's a big difference between Rodecaster DUO and Scarlett interfaces. These audio interfaces don't have internal processing as Rodecaster.
      If you want that, go with Rodecaster.
      This tutorial is just to record the audio clean but you need to process the sound after :)

    Hi, I just got this device focusrite scarlett 4i4, I have the latest software version of Focurite Control 2, when on Prefferences/Device I do not see those two options "Combine input 1 and 2" and second option "Send direct monitor mix to loopback". Your video is just two months old, they can't have removed these features by updates? If not, how do I enable these? my device is on, everything is lit correctly on it, do I need to do something for these options to be visible?

    • @GabrielVIP

      Hey! I am not sure if 4i4 is different. Maybe on that model, you don’t need to activate it. Or the software can be different for that model.

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hy! The Shure SM58 needs a preamp with around 50dB of gain to accurately capture sound. This audio interface has 58dB so... it will work perfectly. I don't have one to test but if I read the specifications, it is ok.

    Hey gabriel, i use mv7 and i connect it with my focusrite solo same like you, but the voice is so low that i need to rotate the gain until maximum, and that still not in -12 to -6 db, in scarlett application i also mix output 1 and 2 (if not mistaken) so my voice become louder, and my channel is 4th channel, do you have any tips to fix that so i can use my mic loudly enough like you, thanks

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! MV7 should work fine. It’s a dynamic mic so you don’t need to activate the phantom power. But something it’s wrong. Mixing the channels shouldn’t make the gain louder. Hmmm. It’s almost impossible to see what’s wrong if I don’t see the setup.

      @GabrielVIP  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey! Something it’s wrong.
      So: connect the mic to the CL1 and the CL1 to the audio interface. After you connect them, turn on the 48v phantom power and increase the gain step by step.
      It should work!
      Also, check if the cables are ok.

    did you ditch your rodecaster for the Scarlett?

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi! I don't ditch it. I use it when it’s necessary. Rorecaster DUO it’s amazing but I don't do complex routing or live sessions that require a complex setup anymore. And it takes up a lot of space on the desk.
      I just record 1 mic and connect my headphones and my speakers to edit and process the sound and do classic video calls with 1 mic.
      For this, the Scarlett Solo is more than enough and compact.

    • @GabrielVIP
      @GabrielVIP  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I searched online for your speakers. Looks like you need a classic cable with two trs. You will connect a cable with two trs on one side to the two outputs from the interface and on the other side have the same two tra that connects to the right and left of the speaker.

      Hey! I don't have experience in that kind of situation but if the signal that goes into the Focusrite is not clipped or distorted is a matter of how you set your gain or something from the streaming software.
