Thank you, Mark, for your order. It was an honor to make this board for you!
Thank you for your service Mark and congratulations on owning a work of art!!!
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Thank you for your service sir!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@markp.9707 mate,
I was enlisted no need to call me sir :-)
Thank you for your service. This is an absolutely beautiful piece of art work!!!
We stole the anchor from the Navy, the eagle from the Air Force, the rope from the Army. And on the seventh day, while God rested, we overran his perimeter, and stole the globe. We've been guarding it ever since. Semper Fidelis!
Ooh rah, brother!
Thank you for defending me and my country.

I always see people talking shit about cnc artists but they don't understand the amount of time that goes into a pice like this. This is fantastic.
The best board with inlay
Thanks!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I would be more-than-proud to own such a MASTERPIECE!
Thank you, Tom!
I have never heard of orange osage wood before. Looks really cool with walnut!
The part that is overlooked is how long it takes to make the design for the STL files. Even using an image, you’d still have to isolate all of the individual sections and then slice it piece by piece.
Fantastic! As a retired Marine, I especially appreciate this!!! Semper Fidelis.
Thank you!!
Semper Fi
Just Great!!!!!
A treasured piece
Just got my cnc
Looking forward to learning and one day do this , thank you
Your work is out of this world!!
That's some ballsy milling my friend
Boy, that sealant REALLY makes it pop!
That is ridiculously amazing.
That detail is absolutely nuts!
I've watched all your videos, and maybe I'm just a little bit biased, but that is the best one yet. Semper Fi
Thank you 🙌
Hell yeah
Perfectly done! People always forget to show the full image in the end, not this time. Perfection all around! 👍
Really awesome work Nick! I also have to say your background music is beautiful too! Adds even more magic to the already epic artwork ❤❤❤
Thank you!☺️🙌
Ok you absolutely killed that piece....Period 👏🏽
Ive tried this inlay several times, and it is friggin hard. A lot of the smaller parts break off. And I also see you did it in 4 different steps(maybe 5). Ordered a cnc machine, will be getting it in a couple of months and will purchase your layout for the EGA. Thanks so much man for sharing your knowledge of all this!
That’s one of the coolest woodworking pieces Ive ever seen.
Exquisitely Done. Very Impressive. Keep your content coming. Cheers from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬
I was telling Woodcraft the other day.... with the adapter for the Festool Dust Extractor.... I would rather use the Bosch Sanders. Glad to see someone else doing this!
Beautiful, stunning piece sir, thank you. The time, effort, skill, craftsmanship to make something so personal and meaningful to Marines.
Yes, but a large part of the satisfaction of creating art like this is the effort.
Wow!!!!! Simply stunning work.
This is next level cool.
I bought your couese to try and dial in my end grain inlays. I’m getting closer… but having issues still with really detailed stuff.
You don’t mention in your course how you set your plugs. I know you use the mallet to tap them in and your course said clamping pressure will affect results. What do you use?
I have been using a sacrificial board and a bunch of deep throat c clamps because I don’t have a press.
I appreciate the videos. You create some amazing stuff.
-Ben Rudman
That's absolutely beautiful. Wish I could learn and do something like this...
Hell yea congrats on the stepcraft!!! You’re going to love it and their customer service (if needed of course)!
Fantastic. I'm speechless.
GORGEOUS piece!
Thank you!
Great work Nik!! I like the osage orange. Really pops!! Thanks for another great video....
Thank you!
Holy SHIT! That s a MASTERPIECE
That is truly amazing work. A credit to the USMC. Par mare Par terram brothers.
Very well done. I think it’s the best cutting board I’ve seen you make.
Thank you so much!☺️
Marine here, been wanting to make a project like this for myself for a while now ,but cant ever find good files think I will be purchasing these. Just as a heads up the DOD takes their seals serious especially the Marines, so if you plan on making these and selling them constantly you may want to get a hobbyist sellers permit. You can get one for up to 2 years if your making the items by hand as a "hobbyist" and selling them.
Just a FYI for you. this is sick BTW
AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL!! I wish I had the $$ to commission one of these. How about the American flag with a Bald Eagle flying in front of flag?
Beautiful 👍👍👍. Thank you for sharing. Be safe 🇨🇦
Wonderful! As always, best regards from Brazil
outstanding. Well done!
Almost need to buy two of them, They are all always too good to use. :)
Great board and video 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you, Jef!
your work is wonderful and beautiful friend, I would like to work with you haha...I really like your country, greetings from Chile
Amazing work as always 👏
This is absolutely incredible work! Great job!
Gorgeous!!
Absolutely incredible work
One amazing piece of work !
This is the most American thing I’ve seen all day, and I’ve watched 3 videos about the president
Superb work, Nik. I was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam. I purchased your "parameters" course and have been making perfect inlay projects ever since. I would very much like to purchase the SVG or DXF files of this project so I can make my own Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. It would hang proudly in my shop. You have my contact information on file. Thanks! 😀

Thank you, sir! I am very glad my course helped you! The file is also available on my website.
@@BroinwoodCan the file be scaled up to make a larger board?
@@robbie6625 Yes, you can scale the file up.
Unreal dude
Out fucking standing work
Pure art.
@broinwood you are the master
Thank you! I do my best!☺️
Very impressive! As much as I’d like to say I could pull that off or have the patience, there’s no way! Just out of curiosity, what would you charge for something like that?
Stunning, just stunning!
Beautiful work!
Oorah!
OOORAH
That is truly spectacular...
Thanks 🙌
Awesome work Nik!
Thank you!
Amazing work!
You might want to try using a fly cutter to flatten instead of the 1/4" endmill you currently are using. A fly cutter would drastically reduce the machining time for your projects.
I love your talent. You make fantastic art. Have you ever made a Games of Thrones cutting board? If not can you? (family sigils, the wall, Valarayn steel dagger, dragon, etc.)
Gorgeous !!!! 👍👍
I'm curious, why not use a wider surfacing bit? You could probably cut those job times substantially. I'm assuming your CNC is trammed perfectly considering the quality of your work.
Excellent work as always.
that's phenomenal
Outstanding!!!!
Very well congratulations
This is amazing!!!
So amazing.
wow
Wow
I am impressed by your work, I am planing in buying your tutorial on inlays... Question: all of your inlays are done in end grain, this is for good looks or also engraving into end grains leave a cleaner cut finish?
Thank you!
When it comes to making a cutting board, it's better to use end grain wood.
Edge grain wood is more challenging to mill easy to get a chip
OooohRahhhh. Semper Fi
WOW!
Adored by Leathernecks the world over.
Hi Nik, GREAT work. Very cool. Q: any reason why you clean the surface with an endmill instead of a fly cutter?
Thank you! Less dust in the shop and less chance of getting chipped on the inlay.
Excellent!
I thought I knew how to use my cnc router…..until I watched this.
Do you think it makes sense to divide one element into several parts to save material? I suppose osage orange is an expensive material. Have you thought about making this outer wreath from several half circles to save material?
As always your work is fantastic. As far as a cnc unit goes, did you just get the Stepcaft cnc? It looked like you were using an Axiom Pro in the past. I have been trying decide on the Stepcraft and the Axiom Elite for the same style of work. I'm guessing if you did get the Stepcraft recently, it was for upgrade in size and maybe accuracy? Thanks again for the great videos. Like I said before, it's nice to see the true potential of smaller cnc's.
Simply amazing!
Cutting tool used as an area cleaning too
Creativity
Wow!
Outfuckingstanding! Semper Fi!
Subbed.
Absolutely phenomenal craftsmanship!!! I have two brothers that are Marines. Would you consider contracting to make two of these for them? If interested, please contact me, as I would be very grateful indeed. Thanks
Just Beautifull

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Master o master
Why did you go from your old CNC machine to this stepcraft?
Sir what is price for cutting board one like this😉 just so cool
Can Movingue replace the color /yellow/ osage orange?
To be honest, I have never worked with Movingui, but it seems yellow enough.
How did you get that wood to be gold colored
How much does a CNC machine go for like the one you have?
You can check the current price on the stepcraft website. My model is q404
why don't you show us at least once how you press the inlays in the hydraulic press?
What model is the CNC Router?
What type of cnc are you using?
Who did you make that for?

Be careful selling this! The USMC has guidelines that must be followed, and permission must be granted for you to sell the logo. As one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children, I looked into this a while back, and was astonished that we have to fill out paperwork and get permission first.
Yea, that really sucks. Lot of folks make military stuff - only USMC gets so anal about charging to use their logol. You's think they would appreciate the free advertising and promotion of The Few, The Proud, The Marines.
