Barry is going to tear his family apart. Him taking Nora back without allowing Iris to say goodbye was completely messed up. This situation is also making me question Barry. No shade towards Caitlin, but Barry gave her so many chances even when she almost killed him and Cisco. He's given so many villains their chance to turn over a new leaf, yet he's not doing the same for Nora. Nora had no ulterior motive but to meet her dad. Yeah, she should've stopped going back to Thawne after knowing what he did to Barry's mom, but after this episode we sort of understand why she continued to work with him. He helped her learn how to use her speed, and helped her capture the villain that killed her best friend. Obviously she's going to have some loyalty for him because of that. I get how betrayed he feels because his own daughter was working with his sworn enemy, but he was ignoring everything she went through that pushed her towards going to Thawne. I'm hoping Barry regains his trust for Nora and that him treating her like he did doesn't force her towards the dark side.
He is also ignoring the fact that something had to happen to team flash in the future for her not to go to them.
Thank you, thank you. I've been saying the same thing. I'm so mad at Barry. Another point I would like to add is the fact that he was the one who told Nora that everybody deserves a second chance. Even the reverse-flash, he said that. Of course she's going to work with Thorne again when she wants to save her father. Why do villains and other people deserve a second chance from him but not his own daughter. I hope Iris lights his ass up🙅

No team flash anymore.... she didn’t know about any powers and anything untill she met thawn and then traveled to the future and I’m sorry but Nora made her choice she left and never went back to her mom to get the full story it might have saved her a lot of mistakes

I get that but Sherloqe could have talked to Ralph or Barry.
Augusta Tufts would Barry really believe that his daughter is keeping something from them? Especially since he just met her and built a relationship with her to be told she’s doing something shady?
Iris asked him first as to why he was investigating Nora. He said nothing.
Sherloque could NOT have talked to anyone on the team. He has had instincts about everything since he got there. The team would have made him stop.
And Iris confronted Sherloque in a very pissed off way. So no he couldn't have told her then.
Sherloque spent this whole time investigating so that when the truth came out, there wouldn't be any "I trust her" or "I don't believe you" BS the writers pull everytime a teammate hiding a secret thing. If Sherloque said anything before he confirmed everything about Nora, Team Flash would have been on his ass and yelling at him to trust Nora (especially Barry and Iris)

here is my theory thawne telling nora to tell barry her secret was part of thawne’s plan he knew how barry would react and barry pushed nora away and trapped her in the future. He then knew barry would confront him. Barry got over confident and said that thawne lost and he would get what he has coming except nope thawne played his trump card. Nora will now go back to thawne and will make thawne hurt barry worse.
I think all of team flash is probably dead in the future. All these heroes are not going to disappear and not use there. It would make sense of why Nora would keep going back to Thawne.

I thought this was a great episode felt bad for how Nora found out about everything and how her friendship died and Danielle panabaker did a great job directing this episode it was messed up how they told Sherlock to leave the room Barry taking Nora to the future without iris knowing she is going to be mad and loved all the name drop Leah naming the villain felt like Cisco and this episode felt like season 1
Come on CW loves family drama its all going to happen anyways. Also i don't know why everyone is getting mad at Detective wells for because they should be mad at Iris to for knowing what detective wells is doing and she actually goes back to back thinking if Iris was hiding something.

Nora begged Thawne. She made a deal with the devil and now has to pay the price. But older Iris was flawlessly beautiful. That Black didn't crack. Whether that's a wig or rise color...I love that look on Candice. And Barry's message to Nora (at what looks like Red Skies/Crisis On Infinite Earths) had me sobbing. And the end, whooo!
Not to mention every time iris caught sherloque investigating Nora she had somethin to say, so he had to bring the facts, and when he did he said something

I feel like Barry was being very holier-than-thou. He has gone back in time twice to get thawne to help him. And when it comes to giving somebody the benefit of the doubt let's see Captain Cold, killer frost, magenta, Heatwave and let's not forget his best buddy Harry from Earth 2 murder Turtle In Cold Blood. Not to mention flash point where he changed everybody's life and then lied to them all about it until finally he couldn't anymore. I know it's the way the writers are writing the character but they're really making Barry look like a jerk. Nor is very naive she was sheltered her whole life. Her family didn't tell her anything about her family had they told her maybe she would known this dude killed my grandmother I probably shouldn't trust him. I hope Iris sets his ass straight next week. Great episode though
Team flash should not even bother to get upset at Sherloque. He’s a detective, he needed proofs and facts to prove that Nora was working with Thawne. so first off I think godspeed looks amazing, but here is my theory what if godspeed is actually Nora's friend who got killed. Think about it in the comics Godspeed was so fast he could be at two places at once and even killed himself and faked his death maybe Nora's friend did the same thing at the beginning because granted we haven't seen who is under the mask yet.
Really wish we got more of Grant this season he’s doing great, same with Stephen, both are doing amazing jobs in their seasons but it feels like they’re barely in them
I think Thawne had a motive. He knew that Nora working with him would drive Barry crazy. It was his final scheme against Barry. He took his daughter from him before she was even born. He took the joy of his child from him.
Yeah I'm also thinking he knows that Barry will do something since he's so worked up that will lead to him getting out of his death sentence. He seemed to start a domino effect that might accomplish more than just upset Barry.

I get that barry is mad because she still went to see thawne after she found out he killed her fathers mother but even tho she knew that she still went to see him but think about it like this she was lost she had had her mother but she still felt kinda empty so when she found reverse flash even though he was the flashes biggest enemy thats all she knew is that he was bad not how twisted in the head he was but when he started helping her with her powers she gave him her trust she not only built a friendship with him but it was also like a father daughter type thing because he helped her when she felt like nobody else would even her mother so when her father Barry told her what thawne did it almost broke that trust she established with thawne but in the end it didn’t because she still didn’t really wanna let him go which is why Barry really f***** up because now she knows how her dad feels about her and that sadness will turn into rage and thawne will fuel that rage so that he can use his daughter against him I feel like something crazy will happen to Nora causing Barry and iris to have twins

As I bagged its drive, I began to form a theory that the meta responsible was actually a speedster. When he was given Nora advice you were saying liar but he didn't get that from Barry but actually in season one he said that to berry and then barry said it to her in this season

if you guys think about barry was kinda in the wrong because in the 100th episode Nora asked him if Thawne was capable of redemption and he said if he were to put his mind to it then yes then thawne is redeemable
It kinda hit me. Since this was before Nora went back in time to meet her dad, I feel like they was foreshadowing Godspeed for the next season. With Nora having an effect in the past it might be different on how they meet August. Not to mention to make up some of the wrongs from s3, the ending to that season could be how August was born to create Godspeed. The speedforce storm that had to take Barry could have helped awake Godspeed but we just didn't know it. To give a little mystery to it also. He goes by a different name and face perhaps cause he has amnesia on who he was before he was hit with the lightning. I say this cause the speedforce storm from season 3 if you connect that with August now, it kinda mirrors what happened in the comics if I remember it right for Flash Rebirth series.

UNLESS, to put it short, Nora ‘changed the future’ so much that it creates a ‘new’ timeline (which would be our timeline/the timeline we’re watching) of twins. So hopefully when (our) Iris is pregnant, it’ll be twins hence the “we’re gonna need more diapers”. I just hope, because that’s one of the things I didn’t want changing 🥺.

Last night's episode was great I really enjoyed it. There's one part though I did not like. I think Barry went too far when he brought Nora back to the future and left her there. Yes, Nora screwed up but you have to remember this part. When Nora learned about her grandmother she went back to Thorne and confronted him and told him she never wanted to see him again. BARRY, was the one who told her that everybody deserves a second chance. He also said yes, even the reverse flash. Now remember all Nora wants to do is save her dad and her father just told her even his adversary can change what do you think she's going to do. He went overboard and he's going to regret it, cuz he just pushed Nora right into Thorne's hands. I hope Iris puts him in his place🙅 How many times has Barry screwed up and his family and friends have forgiven him. Example, Cisco's brother anyone, baby Sara etc. Anyway, all I'm saying is that he needs to remember you can have good intentions and still screw up.🙍

He said the reverse flash knows who nora is but remember when nora goes back in time to see barry that a timeline ok the timeline when she goes with Barry to get the three items thats when that timeline happens and she meets the reverse flash. The timeline when she is still in 2049 she still has not went back in time so that means the reverse flash dose not know who nora is until she goes back in time to see her dad.
When Godspeed kills nora friend his lightning turns blue because he used v 9 the things Godspeed takes from the labs that is to help him heal from the sickness if he mixes all the chemicals he can create a medicine to cure him from v 9 and make him a speedster forever because he might not be a speedster he might be like trajectory where she only uses v9

what everyone forgets or dont care about is the fact bout barrys' past we all know of by now (i hope or go watch from season 1), but like barry said that she had other options plus she saw his last video stating all his regrets to her and how proud of a father he is bout never got chance to be her father cause of the timeline, and STILL she went along with eobards plan to "help" her when he knew wtf he was doing the whole time. I bet and wont put it past him that he knew godspeed was a factor too, cause after all like barry says and knows that thawne always does all things to help only his"DAMNED"self!! Sherloque was right, and iris is being an ass again plus self petty for her future self her being selfish forreal forreal, regardless of her "being" a parent or whatever, shes not thinking whole-heartly enough to consider the whole conflict at hand.
