And if Barry stopped making unilateral decisions based on un-tempered emotion he would have known that taking Nora back to 2049, where Thawne is...the one person who was there for her, when she perceived no one else to be...And then telling her that she better not time travel again or else...Dude basically set Nora up to run back to evil, and rebel...Against him in the biggest way....Barry was not in the right. His decision to take Nora back to the future was out of anger, mistrust , and fear that she could do harm to the team. Emotions that no on should use to make life altering decisions...Barry should have sent her back at the beginning of the season. When he and the team tried to, that was out of wisdom...because they have the experience of knowing how easily you can screw up the timeline...But out of the emotion of guilt for not being there when Nora grew up, Barry convinces the team to let her stay. Similar to Nora here, she just lost the love the only person she ever dreamed of meeting, her father, which became a strong enough hatred and negativity to tap into the Negative Speed Force. This was my interpretation on how I saw those scenes.

I thought this episode was great love the parallels between Caitlin family drama and the west-Allen family drama I think all the characters had good points in their arguments grant and Candance scene was great the acting was really good it’s interesting to get into the negative speed force love that Barry was helping out with Caitlin situation they haven’t teamed up in a while and why did older grace kidnapped younger grace killer frost going after ice cycle fight scene was cool I like the team up with Ralph and iris they did talk to giddion about how to go to the future so Nora is now a villain because Barry drove her back into thawn arms joe and Sherlock had a great scene cicada killed Caitlin dad as soon as she just got him back why I’m glad that Caitlin and her mom patch things up and love that iris and Barry actually talk things out cicada did a surprise attack on on Barry because I don’t think he saw her coming and that’s why he got knocked out easily overall 8.9/10
Tasha, when she found out he killed her grandmother, all bets were off... And she still didn't fess up or at least just stay away from Thorne. Later for goodbye, she got more time that she never had and stuck around too long. I thought from the beginning, she's gonna screw stuff up, why is she still around?

Hands down, the first 5 minutes were the best part of the episode just for the emotions, acting and points being thrown back and forth. That was I think the first super serious argument both of them had ever and that felt authentic, not forced at all. I did like how both Barry and Iris made valid points about each other with him saying they've been lied to for months and she still worked with Thawne who IS manipulating her and Iris calling him out on his emotional decision making, what with Flashpoint and leaving her for the Speed Force (which isn't really fair since he didn't have a choice in that matter).
The negative speed force eats off the positive speed force so him teaching Norah in the first place he knew what it would do thawn is the creater of the negative speed force he knows its effects of positive speedsters it corrupts them
What if Thawn's plan was to create Nora into a new Reverse Flash in order to become the Flash in his time. It would explain why he is always acting like a good guy. Plus it would mean that in Barry's future his children would be seen as the Big Bad of Thawn's time.
16:48 Something else to consider: he had been cut off from the negative speed force for sometime, and that could be why we are seeing a completely different Thawne. That field is all rage, pain, and loneliness, and he attacked into that hundreds of times as a substitute for the real speed force. Even though he is a bona fide psychopath, that negative speed force could be a secondary cause of his evil. If he were still plugged in, I doubt that he would have helped Nora as much as he has, or come to care for her as much as he has. So no, he didn’t want that for his student because he knew what that did to him.
Everyone in the future lied to Nora her entire life, and Thawne has never lied to her. They could've kept Nora in the pipeline. Her powers would be negated and she'd be away from Thawne.
really liked this episode like the both sides of the fence caitlin vs her mother on caitlyn’s dad and barry vs iris on barry trapping nora in the future.

I agree. He does it all the time, taking others decision out of their hands. The fact is yes, Nora was wrong but how would you feel if after you disappoint your father he just left you somewhere he didn't have to deal with you anymore. I know that's isn't what Barry intended but that's exactly how Nora is feeling. Barry was just plain WRONG in my opinion. They should have worked it out as a family. I honestly think he's more upset about the fact that Nora is working with Thorne that anything else. Now, he'll have to deal with the consequences.

in this episode they made it so cisco and caitlin weren't in star labs and the remaining characters had to step up and barry was sitting at the computer and coming up with things on his own. barry was actually stepping up. barry is going to become something way more than olibur and he's going to reach the level of actually being worthy of being a founding member of the justice league.
I considered it and I think Iris still feels hurt because when you think about it the speedforce only needed Barry there to stabilize a prison he created for savitar who never existed before flashpoint when the tl changed. So technically Barry going into the speedforce was a result of his decision to create flashpoint. Tre, I totally get you when you say nora is illogical. I been saying that from the beginning, but why would you place an illogical person in an evil man's vicinity??😂
Monique Morris Wasn't much Barry could do once Iris let her out the pipeline. She's a speedster and she has manipulated time so Nora needed to stay in the pipeline till everyone came to a decision. The writing for this plot is a bit shaky.

Reverse flash was there for Nora when her mom wasn't. She has a better relationship with him than with her mother. There's no scenario in which, desperate as she is now, she was going back to iris. Not only is their relationship trash but iris cant do squat for her current problem. Thawn can. So from her perspective, there's nobody else for her to turn to.
Noel Crenshaw um no iris was there Nora ran to thawn because of choice not because the relationship is better . She is a simple Kiki’s in the rebellion stage with her mom and not with her dad because he was not around. Point blank she still choose thawn and she clearly has a bond

Thawne is like a crazy frenemie relative and I think just like he cares for Nora he cares for Barry as well. He just doesn’t know how to properly express self. There are those relatives similar to Leonidas father from Sparta who would pick on his son when he was a kid, physically fight him with a sword and then leave him in a desert to fight against wild animals and the elements. For some reason some toxic relatives see this as love instead of twisted bc they feel they are teaching you or trying to make u tough.
Iris's little speech was just so freaking hypocritical....basically every single decision she's made has been based on emotion, not logic. Yeah, she had a point about Flashpoint, but she's got no room to talk...especially getting pissy at Sherloque, since she ALREADY KNEW he was investigating Nora's lies (or am I the only one who remembers that confrontation?)
I have been torn on the situation with Nora working with Thawne from the beginning. But I knew that she had to have some deep reason that made her believe that this was her only choice. When we all found out what it was (to save her dad). I understood WAY MORE.. And I think we all did! Now.. when Thawne was no longer the only one there that she could talk to and she just kept going back to him anyway. That is when I think we were all left on the edge of our seats wondering why. Especially when Barry locked Nora up in the Pipeline IMMEDIATELY.. and then Iris gave her the benefit of the doubt, by letting her out to explain herself. I still seen why they both carried it out this way. But that opening argument scene this episode was PURE GOLD! It showed them in a different light... it more them more relatable... and I loved it! Barry gave Iris the Biggest L ever! Even though leaving Nora back in 2049 alone without his love and respect, will bring her even closer to the very person that he wants her away from. Iris today I believe; made things so much worse by going back to 2049 to talk to Nora. Unleashing anger we haven't seen before leading all towards her accessing the Negative Speed Force. Now if not then Thawne will manipulate her! And for what?? and why?? I dont know!

I don't blame Nora for going to Thawne after she found out that Thawne killed barry mother. I blame Barry for saying that Thawne could change in the future.
People seem. To be forgetting that Nora is still essentially a novice and when it comes to dealing within parents she is still a kid. A kid who would be afraid of upsetting his parents like a young kid would do. And when a kid makes a mistake the worst thing you can do is isolate that kid and make him/her worse about thier mistake. She is a kid going to through intense emotions like bonding for the first time with her parents. If you leave her like that of course she will lash out, acting on emotions and trying to find to any way to get get back. And the obvious solution for that is going to thawne. They should have been smart enough to know that if thawne was manipulating the smartest thing would be to keep her with them where they can keep an eye on her instead of leaving her in the future unsupervised where she will go right back to thawne.

Similar to Nora here, she just lost the love the only person she ever dreamed of meeting, her father, which became a strong enough hatred and negativity to tap into the Negative Speed Force.
This was my interpretation on how I saw those scenes.

I thought this episode was great love the parallels between Caitlin family drama and the west-Allen family drama I think all the characters had good points in their arguments grant and Candance scene was great the acting was really good it’s interesting to get into the negative speed force love that Barry was helping out with Caitlin situation they haven’t teamed up in a while and why did older grace kidnapped younger grace killer frost going after ice cycle fight scene was cool I like the team up with Ralph and iris they did talk to giddion about how to go to the future so Nora is now a villain because Barry drove her back into thawn arms joe and Sherlock had a great scene cicada killed Caitlin dad as soon as she just got him back why I’m glad that Caitlin and her mom patch things up and love that iris and Barry actually talk things out cicada did a surprise attack on on Barry because I don’t think he saw her coming and that’s why he got knocked out easily overall 8.9/10
Tasha, when she found out he killed her grandmother, all bets were off... And she still didn't fess up or at least just stay away from Thorne. Later for goodbye, she got more time that she never had and stuck around too long. I thought from the beginning, she's gonna screw stuff up, why is she still around?

Hands down, the first 5 minutes were the best part of the episode just for the emotions, acting and points being thrown back and forth. That was I think the first super serious argument both of them had ever and that felt authentic, not forced at all. I did like how both Barry and Iris made valid points about each other with him saying they've been lied to for months and she still worked with Thawne who IS manipulating her and Iris calling him out on his emotional decision making, what with Flashpoint and leaving her for the Speed Force (which isn't really fair since he didn't have a choice in that matter).
I want to see Barry run on clouds. Apparently, he can do that at some
point in the comics.

16:48 Something else to consider: he had been cut off from the negative speed force for sometime, and that could be why we are seeing a completely different Thawne. That field is all rage, pain, and loneliness, and he attacked into that hundreds of times as a substitute for the real speed force. Even though he is a bona fide psychopath, that negative speed force could be a secondary cause of his evil. If he were still plugged in, I doubt that he would have helped Nora as much as he has, or come to care for her as much as he has. So no, he didn’t want that for his student because he knew what that did to him.
Everyone in the future lied to Nora her entire life, and Thawne has never lied to her. They could've kept Nora in the pipeline. Her powers would be negated and she'd be away from Thawne.

I agree. He does it all the time, taking others decision out of their hands. The fact is yes, Nora was wrong but how would you feel if after you disappoint your father he just left you somewhere he didn't have to deal with you anymore. I know that's isn't what Barry intended but that's exactly how Nora is feeling. Barry was just plain WRONG in my opinion. They should have worked it out as a family. I honestly think he's more upset about the fact that Nora is working with Thorne that anything else. Now, he'll have to deal with the consequences.

in this episode they made it so cisco and caitlin weren't in star labs and the remaining characters had to step up and barry was sitting at the computer and coming up with things on his own. barry was actually stepping up. barry is going to become something way more than olibur and he's going to reach the level of actually being worthy of being a founding member of the justice league.
I considered it and I think Iris still feels hurt because when you think about it the speedforce only needed Barry there to stabilize a prison he created for savitar who never existed before flashpoint when the tl changed. So technically Barry going into the speedforce was a result of his decision to create flashpoint. Tre, I totally get you when you say nora is illogical. I been saying that from the beginning, but why would you place an illogical person in an evil man's vicinity??😂

Monique Morris Wasn't much Barry could do once Iris let her out the pipeline. She's a speedster and she has manipulated time so Nora needed to stay in the pipeline till everyone came to a decision. The writing for this plot is a bit shaky.

Reverse flash was there for Nora when her mom wasn't. She has a better relationship with him than with her mother. There's no scenario in which, desperate as she is now, she was going back to iris. Not only is their relationship trash but iris cant do squat for her current problem. Thawn can. So from her perspective, there's nobody else for her to turn to.
Noel Crenshaw um no iris was there Nora ran to thawn because of choice not because the relationship is better . She is a simple Kiki’s in the rebellion stage with her mom and not with her dad because he was not around. Point blank she still choose thawn and she clearly has a bond

Thawne is like a crazy frenemie relative and I think just like he cares for Nora he cares for Barry as well. He just doesn’t know how to properly express self. There are those relatives similar to Leonidas father from Sparta who would pick on his son when he was a kid, physically fight him with a sword and then leave him in a desert to fight against wild animals and the elements. For some reason some toxic relatives see this as love instead of twisted bc they feel they are teaching you or trying to make u tough.

I have been torn on the situation with Nora working with Thawne from the beginning. But I knew that she had to have some deep reason that made her believe that this was her only choice. When we all found out what it was (to save her dad). I understood WAY MORE.. And I think we all did! Now.. when Thawne was no longer the only one there that she could talk to and she just kept going back to him anyway. That is when I think we were all left on the edge of our seats wondering why. Especially when Barry locked Nora up in the Pipeline IMMEDIATELY.. and then Iris gave her the benefit of the doubt, by letting her out to explain herself. I still seen why they both carried it out this way. But that opening argument scene this episode was PURE GOLD! It showed them in a different light... it more them more relatable... and I loved it! Barry gave Iris the Biggest L ever! Even though leaving Nora back in 2049 alone without his love and respect, will bring her even closer to the very person that he wants her away from. Iris today I believe; made things so much worse by going back to 2049 to talk to Nora. Unleashing anger we haven't seen before leading all towards her accessing the Negative Speed Force. Now if not then Thawne will manipulate her! And for what?? and why?? I dont know!

Killer frost vs Icicle was a build battle in full affect
they did iris wrong with the thawne feelings. like it’s so out of character. of course iris would feel bad about thawne killing barry’s mother like that’s the person she is but in this episode they basically had her say “idgaf” that is terrible writing. and what makes even more worse is the fact that later on she’s upset at thawne when the writers had her say a while back she didn’t mind it. they really keep doing her wrong and i’m sick of it.
1000% tru Dat Tre. Yes, finally someone sees the truth. Iris and Barry are Not the flash Barr Allen IS The Flash. PERIOD. No argument. No discussion. NO "ifs" "ands" or "buts" Barry Allen is the Flash. He letting Iris KNOW it. And Nora DOES indeed have other people. The ONLY person she doesn't have is her father. She still has her mom, her grandfather Cecile, her other friends (don't tell me y'all think she only had one friend) Nora went to Thawne because he was a Speedster only. after spending time in the past and seeing her mom being human, now she can go to her older mom and reconcile.

People seem. To be forgetting that Nora is still essentially a novice and when it comes to dealing within parents she is still a kid. A kid who would be afraid of upsetting his parents like a young kid would do. And when a kid makes a mistake the worst thing you can do is isolate that kid and make him/her worse about thier mistake. She is a kid going to through intense emotions like bonding for the first time with her parents. If you leave her like that of course she will lash out, acting on emotions and trying to find to any way to get get back. And the obvious solution for that is going to thawne. They should have been smart enough to know that if thawne was manipulating the smartest thing would be to keep her with them where they can keep an eye on her instead of leaving her in the future unsupervised where she will go right back to thawne.
Iris and Barry BOTH have valid points. They are married and are suppose to make decisions TOGETHER! He could’ve let her know before being impulsive and just taking her back. Now she finna be the big bad.
