I've watched VHS tapes, DVD's, downloads, and read many books showing the pressure fan and this is the first time it's "clicked". Thanks for sharing! Was very helpful.
Chris, I'm so glad to hear this. Thanks for taking the time to let me know. I greatly appreciate the feedback and hope you continue to have fun with this. If you're anything like me, the more you practice, the more satisfaction you'll experience.
Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. The pressure fan has been my bain for years. I fan my decks with a different style, but I will work on this.
@@IntervalMagic I do the thumb fan when I am using a fanning deck, but the one I use most often (I don't know if it has a name) is when I hold the deck in my right hand The index and middle finger is lying across the bottom of the deck and my left middle finger drags the cards in a circle.
@@GFenton That sounds like a variation of the thumb fan. I do know magicians who use similar grips and spreads. And yes, doing that type of a fan is great when using a fanning deck.

You made it very clear for me, thank you! I also enjoyed your story and history lesson, I like your passion for magic 🙏
Thanks so much. Very glad it helped and that you enjoyed the extra commentary.
Best video of pressure fan on TH-cam
Thank you. And thanks for watching it. Very much appreciate that. Tom
Pretty cards!!
I love those fanning cards from the 1980s especially.

My pleasure. Thanks for watching it. Yeah, it's not the easiest fan to learn. If the style you use is a thumb fan, that's a great one, too.
