    I've watched VHS tapes, DVD's, downloads, and read many books showing the pressure fan and this is the first time it's "clicked". Thanks for sharing! Was very helpful.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. The pressure fan has been my bain for years. I fan my decks with a different style, but I will work on this.

      @@IntervalMagic I do the thumb fan when I am using a fanning deck, but the one I use most often (I don't know if it has a name) is when I hold the deck in my right hand The index and middle finger is lying across the bottom of the deck and my left middle finger drags the cards in a circle.

      @@GFenton That sounds like a variation of the thumb fan. I do know magicians who use similar grips and spreads. And yes, doing that type of a fan is great when using a fanning deck.
