finally a good chow mein recipe. all i need to learn knife skills although i have the knifes but every time i chope i trade on some thin ice between chopping my vegetable or fingers.
Try curving your fingers more so that the knife will automatically slide off the middle phalanx and never reach the first tucked under. It takes some time to practice but it’s definitely worth it.
I don't understand why you don't get views like seriously your recipes are perfect and tempting and videos are not only high quality but also give such an ASMR feeling, i love to hear the sounds. And honestly speaking and it's absolutely my point of view people like me don't like to watch those 20 mins-30 mins recipe videos and that too some people talking a looottttttt. And people like me are noobs at cooking we keep on rewinding even while doing an easy recipes so another reason for loving your content is the length of your videos. Everything is so perfect with your recipes, content, and video quality still so less views i don't understand this thing seriously. And btw I will try this recipe for sure, I have tried many of your recipes on special occasions like butter garlic chicken on 1st Jan 2021, then your easiest chilli chicken and that quick fried rice so I will definitely try this one too ❤️❤️❤️
let me tell you! IT.WAS.AMAZING!!!!! instead of normal cabbage, i used purple one and i didn't have oyster sauce so I used what you said but added some tiny amount of ketchup! the sauce turned out amazing!!???!!❤️ thank you sm!!💌
As an American my favorite Chinese dishes are: 1. Shrimp and Lobster sauce, white rice 2. Rib Tips with soft wonton 3. House Special Rice, BBQ Ribs, Hoisin 4. Beef And Broccoli 5. Curry Chicken, white rice
Made it. Compared to a couple others I have tried, I like this the most. Used no oil and Chula soba. Timing is great to get just the right amount of cook in the vegetables and noodles. Delicious.
just made this recipe to go with dinner. so good, and easy to follow. i didn’t have light soy sauce so i just used regular. I just quickly measured in my head as well, instead of using measuring equipment. I only wish i made double to have more noodles. i also used a little less vegetables because my kids don’t enjoy a lot of veggies in their chow mein. thank you for sharing this recipe
Hello! Thanks. I just made this. The noodles turned out so basic and yummy. Perfectly cooked with the right bite and crunch. The sauce was flavourful and mild enough to be enjoyed by all ages. I personally yearned for a bit of a spicy kick so next time, I'll skip the sugar, add vinegar for tang, add sliced green chillies, incorporate chilli sauce or just cook the dish in a chilli oil base.
As a tip and if people are eating with you than cannot handle heat, dice an union, finely slice a Mme Jeanette / Habanero / Scotch Bonnet (mind the eyes, use gloves to be sure), add to the diced onions, add some vinegar, add some salt, I add some sugar (optional), let it sit in the fridge, serve with any sweet marinated meats or any fried rice, just sprinkle on top, also great on buns with meats. If more heat wanted, add more pepper, I only add a halve as I like the flavor better than the kick. Enjoy!
This is an excellent easy to make recipe did I plan on cooking very soon for my wife and myself and it lends itself too many options you can add to it I thank you so much for sharing😊 🙏🏽 👏🏾 👍🏽
Your recipe n execution are so clear n invite anybody to cook. Yesterday, was not the first time I make nuddles but It was so good n I think I master It thanks to your indication n details. The process you prepare the nuddles is a secret trick of my mom fir "spaghetti" 😅 n It demonsteate your cooking skills 👋🏻. Thank you again for the clarity of your recipes and videos 🙏🏻
Thanks for this amazing recipe, it's about time to have your own show. Also, i added 1 tsp of sugar into about 2 tbsp of water, poured it into the chow mein just before consumption, and it was supercalifragilisticexpialidociously amazing
Hey hi, I watched each and every video of yours and used to think how can this be so easily prepared, thank you so much for this recipe as I am bad at cooking chow mein this definitely is gonna help me ☺🥰❤
Looks delicious! Definitely going to make this just with egg free noodles as I have a family history of Cancer and need to avoid the Choline in eggs--thanks for posting
Recently got to know about your channel from a friend I am a beginner have really poor culinary skills your videos are of great help.love your recipes.Thank you so much.God bless you.lots of love from Pakistan
Thank u for the calm slow vedio ...makes me happy ..i heat recent trend of fast vedio, taking and giving a whole recipe in 30 second 😢 giving me a anxiety
I eyeballed most of the igredients and used frozen veggies + carrots and in the end the sauce turned out to be very mellow. Maybe I should've made more but I liked the result, and it is nice to have a less savory dish from time to time. 😊
Good recipe. One suggestion to make it even better: I boil the noodles for one minute, drain, then spread them out in a large pan with some oil. I looove the partially crispy noodles.
i just turn off the water after it boils a few minutes, then add the noodles. They aren't in need of more than that. Once they are well flexible, I remove them and spread them on the plate to cool and they do just fine that way without becoming overly soft or sticking to the wok. Over time, I decided to add grated ginger and garlic, soy sauce, and a hint of sesame oil to the water, so the noodles soak up a nice broth instead of just water. They brown up and char just as well, and faster
A good recipe! But I missed the freshness of grated ginger. I doubled the sauce. It was enough to feed the whole house 😂 Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe! Greetings from Germany ❤

But that’s the exciting part! Living life on the edge! 😛

So you're putting too much of the 'blood' and not enough of the 'sweat' and 'tears' into it?
Use a mandolin
Ever thought of buying a julienne cutter? Makes short work of those carrots.
You slice these veggies like a pro!
I absolutely love it!!! ✨👩🏻🍳🔪🥕🥬🧅✨
😋👍🏾👌🏾
Great video, thanks for the recipe! I love the peaceful music and no talking, because many cooking videos are very noisy and overstimulating.

Can I ask which oil you used as cooking oil?
As an American my favorite Chinese dishes are:
1. Shrimp and Lobster sauce, white rice
2. Rib Tips with soft wonton
3. House Special Rice, BBQ Ribs, Hoisin
4. Beef And Broccoli
5. Curry Chicken, white rice
Was looking for an alternative to fried rice and this is it easy to knock together very tasty and goes with all meats !
Made it. Compared to a couple others I have tried, I like this the most. Used no oil and Chula soba. Timing is great to get just the right amount of cook in the vegetables and noodles. Delicious.
