I bought this and instant regret. Tried frying eggs and it auto cut off the heat causing my eggs to soak in oil. The thermostat is too sensitive.
It's the same issue even when cooking rice, it will auto cut off when there is no water but the rice is still moist. The only function of owning this cooker is for steaming using the tray or for steamboat. That's it!
Works great if you pay attention to instructions. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxviiltW7NlHbp_VL_bLbIkbLAvILVhnia For those that complain about "mushy" or "wet" rice I suspect they are using the included cup to measure rice (which is really only 3/4 cup) and then putting in water using a separate measuring cup that is a full cup. This results in too much water and you will get mushy or wet rice and think it is not done. Just use the included cup for both rice and water, or your own measuring cup for rice and water according to your package directions. It will come out fine. I've used mine for years for brown and white rice. If your machine is bubbling white froth out of the steam vent then it means you should have rinsed your brand of rice first to remove some of the starch. Sheesh. Makes me wonder how people can cook well enough to feed themselves.
Oh dear, I am encountering the same issues with many others who bought this. I wish I had seen this video and their comments before I bought it. Unfortunately I bought it today and tested it few minutes ago and enountered same issues so I looked up youtube for any guide on how to use it. I regret instantly having bought it now that I know for sure its not because I don't know how to use it. Its that the product design itself. Can only boil water and power auto cut. while the maximum heat is too strong for such a small pot.
Hi, the power auto cut-off when reaching the mininum temperature. We have to adjust to the highest temperate in order to continue cooking. When cooking porridge, the porridge will split out while continue cooking under the high temperate.
i experience this issue too. thought it was just my unit that was faulty!
Mine too. but honestly it's a cheap product, of course it will got so many problems

After being like a ball being kick here and there and then put a side from the after sales support, end up they claimed the product is end of support and no more parts... I decided no more buying from both Pensonic and Cornell...for those who still Cornell supporters, good luck!

Even steaming will auto cut off when the water just boiled. Food is not cooked.
I’ll be more willing to get it if the steamer was made of stainless steel 😊

Nope. Its sticked to the body. Very difficult to wash. Have to be very careful to avoid water from going into the body and the electric circuit inside..

Bought this but different brand. Its not a friendly user. Only can use once and it already faulty( dead).

How to clean it
Hi, you can follow the steps below for cleaning. Hope it helps you.
1. Unplug the device and let it cool down.
2. Remove all of the separate parts included in your multi-cooker.
3. Wash the removable parts with warm, soapy water using a gentle dish detergent.
4. Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe the exterior and interior
5. Ensure that all the parts are completely dry before reassembling the mini multi-cooker.
6. Once the mini multi-cooker is clean and dry, store it in a clean and dry place. Make sure it is protected from dust and moisture.
