Rory is insanely talented. Blind, plays guitar on his lap upside down and backwards, plays all instruments, sings, never misses a note, plays multiple styles (extremely well) and is always melodic. A real natural gifted musician. Damn!
I count myself lucky to have run across this video by chance. I've never seen anyone as talented in multiple instruments as Rory, including his voice. Then at 57:22, he blows my mind by whistling a complex run of notes in perfect pitch. Wow - just wow!

During Nashville Solar Eclipse got to see 50 Shades of Hay at an old airport. Did not know who Rory Hoffman was, but by the end of their show I sure did. Believe he's been named Nashville Musician of the Year several times.
The accordian played tune Säkkijärven polkka is from south Carelia Säkkijärvi muncipal. As it's border muncipal little is in Finland and most of muncipal is in Russia. Säkkijärven polkka is orignally from three local tune from Säkkijärvi. First it was recorded Willy Larsen 1928. Larsen was partly norvegian, partly americanfinn.
